“Visited this lovely place for our Anniversary in November, Service and atmosphere was amazing! Happened to be a wedding going on, we arrived as a lovely horse and carriage was leaving which was a bit special as that's what we had 22 years ago.(A lovely memory for us)! A pub full of character and wonderful staff, a special thank you to May who looked after us, very friendly and professional. Can't wait to return! Thank you again.”

“Just had a wonderful coffee and browse at Taywell Farm Shop. Perfect for fresh produce, a lovely open air setting and delicious coffee. I’ve picked up some great local wine and a gift for family, after enjoying a fantastic coffee overlooking the Kent countryside. Made all the more delightful by meeting some of the staff who were all welcoming, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to visit the coffee shop (round the back of the Farmshop) for more!”

“I visited this delightful pub with family who had recommended we go here because the food was so good. They weren't wrong! I had a mushroom burger for the first time ever, it was absolutely delicious, tasty and the crispy batter was scrumptious. I would definitely recommend this dish. The fish and chips looked amazing too, as did the other burgers. We all thoroughly enjoyed our chosen dishes. The different largers/beers on offer were a welcome change loo too. The staff were really friendly and the service super efficient. I can't recommend highly enough. As Arnie says "I'll be back!"”

“Lovely little pub, nice food, great service. Not a gastro pub though and location is only convenient if you're driving or are based somewhere really local. Food was good, Guiness not so good (watery and way more bitter than usual), wine was lovely. Nice play area to keep the kids entertained.”

“Such a lovely pub for a Sunday roast or drink. They were amazing at accommodating a party of 12 at very short notice, and even offered alternative meals for the 4 children who might not have managed the roast - they all loved them! Roast dinners were incredible, as were the classic puddings - both with large servings so good value for money. Pub drinks selection good, nice to see Neck Oil on tap outside of London! Staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful... Taking the children off to see your Christmas elves in the pub while we recovered from eating desert was brilliant!”

“We went here for Sunday lunch two weeks ago. I believe this pub is under new management. The food was delicious, and the service was great. The pub has more room from a slightly different layout, which was a good decision. The only issue was that there was no alternative menu to the roast. My father in law loved this pub when he was alive, and I recommend if you're passing through kent.”

“It's our new local and we've lucked in. Gorgeous old pub, has all the classic old Kent pubs you could want. Good selection of zero beers (Moretti and Guinness) and a menu that combines traditional pub favourites (pies, fish and chips, burgers) with some variety (korean buns, tandoori chicken). Fun atmosphere for the most part, if a little quiet on occassion. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for and the service is as you'd expect. Decent kids' menu as well.”

“This is a dog friendly pub. Friendly staff a menu with variety food came out hot, tasty and portion was adequate sticky toffee a must with their rum sauce would love to come back and try roast dinner here. The steak burger was well cooked and garnished well, chips hot and fluffy with a pinch of salt, just what you need in a burger. Worth the drive”
