Lovely old pub beautifully decorated for the Christmas holidays. Attentive service and delicious meals at fair prices. I recommend reserving as it's a very popular place, and rightfully so.
Had a large family meal for my Aunt's 80th Birthday. Couldn't fault anything. Service was perfect, food was perfect, great atmosphere and everything was clean. I would highly recommend and I'll definitely be back.
I booked a table for 19 of us for a Xmas meal. Everything was lovely, the staff, the food and the service. We all enjoyed it so much we may be booking again next year
A drive in our beautiful countryside to find the Rose & Crown which I visited many years ago. Well worth it. Hospitality, wow! We were made so welcome, food choice, quality & representation was exceptional. So friendly & polite. I could go on! Will not leave it so long for another visit. If fact it could become a weekly habit! Thank you to the staff.
Had several meals at the R&C recently, the food is very good, the fish & chips the best around. Excellent service, nice little pub, a couple of real ales, nice village...
