“Considering it was busy, we had 13 drinks EACH (2 people) on the bottomless brunch. It was absolutely amazing tasty food and the drinks were perfect. Nice and strong not watered down, Gen served us she was so lovely and friendly. She made sure we constantly had drinks (getting the most out of our bottomless brunch) the food was freshly cooked and was amazing. Flavours were unreal and the atmosphere was happy and really nice. Music playing in the back and lots of happy people. We had two extra drinks added onto after the receipt!”

“We were really looking forward to visiting this restaurant, especially since it has a high rating of 4.8 on Google. The starters were a pleasant surprise—very good and creative. However, the main courses were a bit of a letdown. The cabbage tasted good, but the core was bitter. Unfortunately, the steak was dry and overcooked, even after we sent it back (we had ordered it medium rare). Overall, we wanted to give this place a higher rating because it seemed like a hidden gem, especially for the price. We’ll need to come back another time to see if it was just an off night.”

“What a place! The location, the decor, the welcome, the staff, the service and of course the food all out of this World. Warm welcome, knowledgeable sommelier who exudes positivity and tells you a fabulous story about the wine, I could listen to him all day. The food is served and explained and is of an exquisite nature. I often don’t even read the ingredients and just try it - and I’m never disappointed. You’d be surprised how small dishes can fill you so much. A fabulous place, and a credit to Simon Wood. We will be back again and again.”

“We were initially drawn to the restaurant by its impressive exterior, and once inside, we were delighted by the stunning ambiance. While the staff were polite, they didn’t come across as particularly warm, though they were still accommodating. The food was decent, though not extraordinary. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we received a complimentary cake after our meal, which was a thoughtful touch and appreciated for the occasion. The restroom, located upstairs, was beautifully decorated, adding to the overall charm of the place. All in all, it was a pleasant experience, with a few small areas for improvement in service, but the hospitality and atmosphere made it memorable.”

“Food was good, slightly on the pricier side. The home made hummus was absolutely delicious. They don’t really update the website, we went in at noon on a Sunday for a brunch, but they for some reason didn’t serve it that day which was a bit disappointing. They were also out of a bunch of stuff on the menu which they didn’t tell us before we ordered. Freshly squeezed juice was very nice and could get it in a larger glass which was wonderful. Edit/ To clarify we visited in early January before the flooding”

“Food is just wow. Had the ribs as a starter. Very soft and tasty. A sharing 550g Ribeye for the main was the best I've ever had with mash and chips to go with it. To top it off, a sticky toffee pudding for desert. Blew me away. Best desert I've ever had too. Service was exceptional. Didn't catch the name of the young lad with short brown hair but his service was top notch. Will definitely be back”

“I had a gift card for Christmas so probably would have never come here if not for that as it is very expensive, but it was lovely. There are some more affordable options if you want to enjoy some good food without breaking the bank. We had the Sunday roast and the beef was cooked perfectly. The roast potatoes were really good too. For dessert I had the chocolate torte, which was recommended to us by our waitress, Annie. My friend had the chocolate brownie and that looked incredible - it was his birthday so they dressed it up a little for him. Annie was really friendly and very knowledgeable about the food, compliments to her. Recommend the bread basket too.”
