The doctor upstairs (I believe it was Max) and his assistants were absolutely brilliant. Reassured me throughout and actually talked through some future options as well. The reception staff were just as brilliant getting me seen so quickly because of the severity there were no chances taken. Overall amazing service and I am very thankful to them all, still recovering but a lot better thanks to them

I'd not been to the dentist for many years and so my teeth needed a good clean. I have had two appointments with the same female hygienist who is lovely, professional, knowledgeable and explains everything well. I'm sorry I haven't remembered her name - I'm perimenopausal and have permanent brain fog.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Reception are friendly & professional as always! Great front of house team! Chloe was exceptional! Made me feel at ease from the moment I entered the room. She explained what she was going to do, reassured me if I needed a break to raise my hand- ( which I appreciated as a nervous patient). Review for recent treatment by Dr Siegfried Aylward. After a couple of bad experiences in the past I had put off seeking the dental treatment I needed and was extremely nervous. Dr Siegfried was understanding, calming and put me at ease straight away. He also explained everything thoroughly every step of the way. First time visitor after requiring emergency treatment following a bad experience at an NHS dentist; 2 of my fillings needed removing and replacing. From the initial consult to the treatment I was thoroughly impressed! I was welcomed into the practice and everything was fully explained. The dentist was extremely reassuring, explained every step and was very gentle. He considered my previous reaction to the anaesthetic and made adjustments when it was required for the filling. Although I am now paying for private treatment over NHS, it is true that you get what you pay for. I felt in much safer, friendlier hands and will 100% be back for checkups and hygienist appointments. Thank you for making the experience more bearable!

I have been coming to the practice for a while now and it is the most welcoming, professional, relaxing and efficient practice I have ever been too. From the Reception staff, the Hygenist and assistant to the dentist and assistant. They are all professional and helpful. Today I saw Dr Malik and I felt we could have continued our conversation on children’s learning all afternoon. I first visited Dr Jam at Sandes in May 2024. After receiving an awful bridge by another dentist 7 years ago i was looking to have it replaced along with a crown and 2 vaneers. Dr Jam listened to my (long)list of requirements and concerns about future dental work with patience and kindness. He told me that if i wasnt happy with my new teeth they would go back to the lab to be changed and this would continue until i was 100% satisfied. When i went to have my old teeth removed he numbed my gums with cream before injecting as he knew how much i hated the injections. My teeth had to go back to the lab multiple times to be tweaked, however i am now thrilled with the result. Dr Jam and Evolution Dental Studio have given me my confidence and smile back - i cant thank them enough! Also would like to mention the lovely Elisha who was the dental nurse throughout my procedure. She was so lovely, friendly and reassuring to me when i was feeling nervous. I would highly recommend Sandes for cosmetic dental work!

I was referred to Sande's Avenue from my own NHS dentist, they phoned in the morning and asked if they could pull my appointment forward an hour which suited me, arriving very nervous about having a wisdom tooth removed. The guys on the counter were lovely and reassuring, the assistant who was helping the surgeon was really friendly and supportive. The surgeon was very straight to the point, i think i was in and out within 10 minutes! i didnt even realise he had finished until i asked "was that it?!" I felt a bit queasy after due to the nerves. But again everyone was lovely! And apparently there was no bill to pay which was a bonus! Id defiantly recommend Sande's Avenue to anyone needing treatment. Thank you to all of you!

Dr Riley and her team are absolutely excellent in all respects. The practice is run efficiently and staff are always welcoming and helpful. Dr Riley is thorough and highly knowledgeable as are the hygienists. She is also brilliant at putting my children at ease. Five star.

I've been going to Dover Priory Dental a few years now. I've always found it to be a very friendly and caring practice. All the dental staff are lovely and happy to answer any questions. I've had to have few fillings done, I'm not keen on them, but Dr. Dorothy Riley is great at making you feel at ease and reassures you throughout treatment. She is very professional in her work and I've never had a problem with any treatment she's carried out. I've also seen Christine, who is a Dental Hygienist and she's lovely too. I would highly recommend Dover Priory Dental.

I have been with this dental practice from the start. Waiting room has a calm atmosphere The staff are very friendly and helpful. I visit hygienist every six month she is very caring and fully aware of my sensitive teeth. I have a check-up with Dorothy twice a year I love the way she explains everything so there are no surprises. This is by far the best private dental practice in Dover

All of the staff at this practice make coming to the dentist such a pleasant experience! The ladies on reception go out of their way to help and ease any fears you may have. Dorothy is a fantastic dentist - friendly, knowledgeable, and more importantly, gentle! The new hygienist, Sharon, made me feel at ease and did a cracking job on making my teeth super shiny. This practice far exceeds the standard of most dentists in Dover and the surrounding areas, plus their Dental Plan is affordable and helps you keep on top of your oral health.

Great practice; expert and friendly staff; superb location overlooking the park and Morecambe Bay. As a bonus, there is an excellent ice-cream parlour next door, ( if your mouth is not still numb!) It's a matter of individual regret, and national shame, that such high quality dental care is so costly and quite unaffordable for the majority of the population. Surely there could be a revised and affordable standardised rate of future NHS charges, somewhere between private and present NHS fees? Compromise is urgently required if the Nation is not to become entirely toothless!! Unfortunately, under the present NHS contract, dentists simply are not allocated sufficient time to deliver the level of service offered privately. Hence the relentless drift away from NHS dentistry. In my 78 years, I have reluctantly parted company with at least 20 excellent dentists who, no longer willing or able to tolerate the tyranny of NHS bureaucracy, consequently retreated to the private sector. Something has to change.....and pretty soon.

I have just finished a course of cosmetic dentistry with Oliver to straighten my front teeth with Invisalign, whiten them and correct my smile with a filling to worn, uneven front tooth. I'm absolutely delighted with the result. My 2 front teeth were very crooked before and I was quite self conscious about them. They look great now. It's a nice feeling to smile with confidence and not try and hide them all the time. The filling to lengthen the front tooth is a perfect colour match and you can't tell it's filled at all. All round a great experience. Oliver is a very experienced and skilled dentist and I felt 100% confident throughout that I would have a good outcome. Great experience all round. Thank you!

The team here at Bupa Dental Grange are all friendly, professional and extremely knowledgable. I joined the practice three years ago after a free consultation, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. My dental journey has been complex, but every step of the way it has always been explained to me with detail, cost and with what the procedures entailed. This morning I had an appointment for a wisdom tooth extraction with Tom ,to say I’m terrified of the dentist is an understatement .. The procedure has been put back many months due to my father battle with Cancer and sadly we lost that fight. Tom and the team were absolutely lovely to me talking me through the steps as he went . Tom made sure I was totally pain free and probably a Rhino wouldn’t of felt either !!!! This practice showed compassion and empathy in which has been a tough time and a tooth extraction was the last thing on my to do’s !!! The Dentist though friendly, made my daughter Anaya very relaxed and comfortable but was also professional. She was quite confident at her job. We are so glad we found Daniel and Shareen! After seeking private dental care after years of NHS, they were reasonable with affordable pricing, and were flexible to fit us in as a family at such short notice, and to then carry out dental treatment to suit our time frame. I've never found a dentist I have felt calm and comfortable with, but Daniel has now restored my faith in dentists! I felt at ease instantly, he is so understanding of my nervousness, as is shareen, and they really get to know you and want to make your visit as enjoyable as possible, having a joke with you and just being so relaxing to be around. I now have no fear of the dentist after nearly 20 years thanks to them, and even my son can't wait for his next visit. 100% recommend, we can't praise you enough.

After a tooth related disaster during work, I looked for a dentist I could get to quickly; this was when I first discovered the Smile Zone. I’d been with my previous dentist for over 25 years and was relatively happy but I was absolutely overwhelmed with the care and attention I received during my first visit to the Smile Zone. From then on I’ve never looked back, and now have Daniel as my regular dentist, I can’t speak highly enough of Daniel, it’s clear immediately that he has an absolute passion for teeth and is happy to talk in depth about any questions you may have, he is such a compassionate person with his only focus being that of the patient. I can’t leave this review without also praising Daniel’s wife, Shareen, who has been thoughtful, understanding and kind-hearted throughout the times I’ve visited. I’d also like to thank Leanne, who is equally as caring, professional and makes an excellent side-kick to Daniel. I truly am so grateful for all of the team at the Smile Zone who have helped me enormously through the trials and tribulations I’ve had with my teeth. Despite me often entering the clinic in a state of stress and panic, I always leave feeling with a sense of relief and I feel truly fortunate to have Daniel as my dentist.

After some not very good experiences here in Dover with dentists, I was introduced to Smile Zone. Now, I would never entrust my teeth to anyone else! Dan is amazing and has saved more than one tooth for me. Going to the dentist feels like a visit with family. Shareen goes out of her way - even on her day off - to call you back and squeeze you in if you are in an emergency. This is one dedicated crew of individuals taking care of your precious teeth and giving you a jolly good laugh with it. I can only give them my highest recommendations. I am so glad they decided to relocate to Dover. We are lucky to have such a professional, experienced and fun dental team here that has integrity in all aspects of the services provided. Yes this all reviewed are true. When they had opened this practice was horrible. Just money and nothing more they charge you upfront even when you hadn't treatment was a problem to get money back. Never dentist available etc. I want to change a dentist as well but went just for check up with children last month. And all completely different. New staff, kind and helpful atmosphere. They stop asking money more then is necessary. I had an emergency visit 2 weeks ago as well, appointment same day, teeth done and still for cost of NHS nothing extra. I am after 4th visit mine and children's and I can say now this people there are great! Thank you so much for all you help!

I would like to express my gratitude to South Cliff Dental Group for the excellent care provided during my recent hygiene procedure. It has been over 15 years since my last visit to the dentist and the team made the experience surprisingly pleasant.
