Not the usual thing that I'd review, but it's worth doing for Pennypot. I use both the hygienist & a dentist, and they are both excellent. The service is really good as well. Reminders are sent, appointments always available (sometimes need to wait a little) and staff are always pleasant. It's such a relief to have a great dentists to go to in the current climate.

Excellent Dental Practice, Dr Sabu did a large treatment plan for me and am very happy indeed. Really went all out to meet my money limits and exceeded my expectations. Recommend massively

Pennypot Dental Hawkinge provides an excellent, professional service for clients with a wide range of dental needs. The premises are spotlessly clean and tidy and all staff are polite, approachable and empathetic to customer needs. Staff adherence to personal hygiene and professional standards is excellent. I visited Inga, an hygienist, at Pennypot Dental for a cleaning session. She was excellent. not judgemental. Gave good advice for the future of my teeth and was very patient with my tenancy to gag. Thanks Inga! Money well spent. T

It was my first visit to Chopra. I had a warm welcome by the reception staff. The hygienist and her nurse was wonderful. I am usually nervous at dentists. I was made to feel comfortable. Clear and reassuring communication about each procedure. I had an exceptional clean and good advice about care at home. Good value for money I will be back

I went to have a broken wisdom tooth out so was very worried about it. I was referred from my dentist as it needed a surgeon to get the broken tooth out. I thought the dentist was fantastic, she explained everything at each stage. I had no pain at all. I thought she was very proficient and professional. I have had no problems since and would not hesitate to go there again. Her assistant was great too.

I've had a tooth removed, a few fillings and a deep clean here after not having a dentist for years, these guys have been brilliant so far. I don't think anybody finds a needle to the gums fun but having a filling done here isn't a scary experience, my first one only brought a small amount of pain whilst the last 2 were painless besides the needle. Reception staff are also lovely and can often book you in fairly quick, even if you can only attend very specific hours. Highly recommend with my only complaint being there's no parking but that's just Canterbury, there's a couple pay & display bays a 5 minute walk in either direction.

I really liked the dentist and nurse. They were warm, friendly and informative, as well as patient with my young daughter. A little hidden gem in Canterbury, not that going to the dentist is supposed to be fun, but they made it stress free.

Reception staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Dentist is amazing, explains everything and makes sure I'm comfortable. Dental nurse, is always very friendly and also makes sure I'm ok. Nicest dentist I've ever been to

The dentist was great with my 5 year old daughter, explained everything in simple language and was patient and let her hold the mirror so she wouldn’t be scared.

I myself am not the worlds biggest fan of trips to the dentist, nonetheless I thoroughly recommend the Smile Zone. Daniel, Shereen and their team are extremely professional yet endearingly friendly. You leave feeling like you've spent time with friends, yet also knowing your teeth have been well looked after. Having spent a few years at University with other priorities than looking after my teeth (pot noodles and beer) I subsequently was very lucky to be dragged along to the Smile Zone by my Mother. Several years later I'm grateful! In addition the Smile Zone is highly HIGHLY recommended for those with mild or severe fears of the dentist! (Me!)

After some not very good experiences here in Dover with dentists, I was introduced to Smile Zone. Now, I would never entrust my teeth to anyone else! Dan is amazing and has saved more than one tooth for me. Going to the dentist feels like a visit with family. Shareen goes out of her way - even on her day off - to call you back and squeeze you in if you are in an emergency. This is one dedicated crew of individuals taking care of your precious teeth and giving you a jolly good laugh with it. I can only give them my highest recommendations. I am so glad they decided to relocate to Dover. We are lucky to have such a professional, experienced and fun dental team here that has integrity in all aspects of the services provided. After a tooth related disaster during work, I looked for a dentist I could get to quickly; this was when I first discovered the Smile Zone. I’d been with my previous dentist for over 25 years and was relatively happy but I was absolutely overwhelmed with the care and attention I received during my first visit to the Smile Zone. From then on I’ve never looked back, and now have Daniel as my regular dentist, I can’t speak highly enough of Daniel, it’s clear immediately that he has an absolute passion for teeth and is happy to talk in depth about any questions you may have, he is such a compassionate person with his only focus being that of the patient. I can’t leave this review without also praising Daniel’s wife, Shareen, who has been thoughtful, understanding and kind-hearted throughout the times I’ve visited. I’d also like to thank Leanne, who is equally as caring, professional and makes an excellent side-kick to Daniel. I truly am so grateful for all of the team at the Smile Zone who have helped me enormously through the trials and tribulations I’ve had with my teeth. Despite me often entering the clinic in a state of stress and panic, I always leave feeling with a sense of relief and I feel truly fortunate to have Daniel as my dentist.

I really cannot recommended the smile zone highly enough, I have had a lot of treatment over the last 2 years and am over the moon with the results. Daniel is the most welcoming and professional of dentists, and will certainly be my dentist forever now, and Leanne always ensures Daniel has everything he needs, even before he knows he needs it! Shareen made me welcome from the very start and always keeps me up to date with everything I need to know. This place is family run and family really shines through, they have all gone above and beyond for me over the last 2 year's and I cannot thank them enough.

I’ve been going to Dental Care Centre for 6 years now and Maarten and his team have been fantastic. He has done a lot of work on my teeth and it’s been excellent every time. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Lynn in reception is friendly, reassuring and compassionate. Would definitely recommend this dental practice.

After more than 10 years of experiencing less than professional (but very expensive), care at a succession of private treatment dentists, I have, at last, found one to whom I can entrust the care of my teeth. Mr Maarten Tonsbeek, at the Dental Care Centre in Canterbury, has transformed my teeth, to the extent that people are actually complimenting me on my "nice teeth". Initially, one is greeted at the surgery by the very friendly/nice receptionist, Debbie, who organises appointments in a very efficient manner, and puts patients at ease before treatment. I have now completed a long programme of treatment, during which Maarten has provided the best advice and dental care I've ever experienced. He explains the dental work in detail and the result of the subsequent treatment speaks for itself. Yes, private dental care is expensive, but, if carried out properly, it is something that is an investment in building ones long term well-being and self-confidence. If you want to be able to smile without worrying about unsightly teeth, then don't hesitate to arrange an appointment at the Dental Care Centre.

I have been using this practice since it opened and have had Maarten as my dentist for over 25 years. During this time my treatment has been excellent. He is not only very professional but an exceptional dentist. My teeth have been a challenge from day one due to my previous reluctance to attend however Maarten has changed all that. All the team are excellent and welcoming. I would highly recommend the practice to anyone.

I have been a patient with the Dental Care Centre for many years and have always found the dental treatment to be of an exemplary standard and the staff to be highly professional and approachable. Lynn on reception is always very helpful and very supportive, especially where patients may be anxious. This is replicated by Marten and his most excellent dental nurse - procedures are clearly explained, methods used very up to date and efficient and when needed patient well being is a priority. Although I would prefer to be an NHS patient I have not attempted to leave this practice as the standard of care, materials used and professional attitudes are well worth the cost! Absolutely the best dentist I have ever had, I’ve had root canal treatment and never felt a thing, Nick is very knowledgeable and caring and knows his patients , and all the staff are friendly and welcoming, especially Lizzie .

Had a very bad toothache and was seen the same day as I rang Lizzie was fabulous as always very understanding and Nicholas the dentist was so nice and very gentle with me. Attended an emergency appointment for a replacement filling. Receptionist was very polite, and the waiting room was clean. I was seen at the time of my appointment. My Dentist was polite and explained the procedure clearly before the work commenced and I received a new filling. No problems at all. I was made to feel at ease and nothing was rushed. I had a positive experience. I'm happy to recommend South Cliff Dental Surgery, Dover.
