I recently received treatment from Mr Miller for an emergency root filling. He fitted me in the same day unlike any other practice in the area. I am terrified of dentists but he immediately put me at ease with his caring and kind manner and great sense of humour. I can understand why he is so busy and several other patients in the waiting room commented on what a great dentist he is. The reception staff and nurses were all very pleasant, happy and couldn’t do more to make me feel at ease. What a great team! I’ll definitely be back and recommend to friends and family. After seeing George’s work on a close friend of mine, it made me want to improve my smile so I booked a composite bonding consultation where George was very professional and explained the process and what to expect. I decided to proceed with the composite bonding only treatment and a month later, I have just finished my last appointment. I have always been an incredibly nervous patient when it comes to the dentist, therefore I have put a visit off for years. Finally succumbing to the wobble of my wisdom tooth I started my research on finding the best place for me to go. West Malling Dental was by far the stand out of the crowd. I had an appointment booked within a day of me calling, so only 24 hours of working myself up! From the moment that I walked through the door to be greeted by an incredibly sympathetic Tina I felt more at ease. Tina reassured me that I was going to be well looked after, and in all honesty, I was. David sat down with me and we talked about what my concerns are and what makes me feel nervous about the dentist. He listened and really took the time to understand, and was incredibly open and honest with me in return. David and the lovely dental nurse Emily, stayed late so I could have the extraction, rather than me come back another day, which I was very grateful for. From the first point of the examination, to having the numbing injections, to the x-rays, and then to the moment the tooth was out I was petrified, but I was so incredibly well cared for. I cannot really put it into words as to how I actually feel. For some a trip to the dentist is an ordeal but for me in the past it has been traumatic and has become a genuine fear. Yesterday, the fear was faced head on and David, Emily and Tina recognised that and did absolutely everything they could to put me at ease and reassure me. I cannot praise them enough. They are all truly wonderful people.
