“10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️EK’s Thai Kitchen is hands down the best Thai restaurant in town. Starters🥗 The fish cakes and chicken satay were excellent. Both tasted fresh, and the chicken was tender. The satay sauce was especially flavorful. The raw prawn was also impressively fresh and very appetizing Mains🍜 We tried the prawn pad thai, chicken pad see ew, and beef guay tiew khua—all were outstanding. The chef mentioned using only fresh ingredients, including fresh noodles instead of dried ones, which made a big difference in the taste and texture. The Thai-style fish is another standout. The broth it’s served in is incredibly appetizing, and it’s worth noting there’s no MSG at all. Just remember, the fish needs to be pre-ordered Highly recommend this place—you can really feel Ek’s passion for cooking in every dish.”

“Lunchtime for two We treated ourselves to the sirloin sharer for two , which was served medium rare, sliced and served with carrots, potato wedges and gravy As it takes 45 minutes to prepare, we shared Focaccia bread and olives Plus a few soft drinks, this was in total fifty quid each. Bear in mind the usual lunchtime menu is twenty five and the sharer has a fifteen quid extra. I left full and wanting to try more Located in the heart of Didsbury Village in a charming converted building that retains a lot of its original features, set across a few rooms, with a kitchen in the back. I like the calm atmosphere and the very attentive wait staff. The adjacent car park is very conveniently located”

“Came across this restaurant by chance. Reviews were mixed, but I wanted to try for myself. I love small local businesses and wanted to support. Walking in the atmosphere was nice, chilled, and intimate. We were seated straightaway. Had a little time to go over the menu, which had plenty of options. The food smelt amazing. Ordered out starters, which was so tasty I could have eaten two plates! Now, with the mains, we waited nearly an hour for them to come out! I did have to ask the waitress where they were, to which she responded politely that were busy, but it was a long wait. I was a little uncomfortable on the chairs as there was no cushion support, considering they were solid wooden chairs, I had to stand up at one point to relieve myself. Something to consider, especially if the wait is long between courses. The main courses were nice, that made up for the delay and the dessert was also delicious. Overall, a good experience apart from the wait and the food was authentic. I would go back maybe on day they are not so busy.”

“We had made a reservation in advance, but upon arrival, we found that the restaurant wasn't very crowded. The service was good, and I had initially wanted to try the grilled peach but was informed that they were out of peaches. The starters, including the soup of the day, chicken liver, and scallops, were decent. The slow-cooked beef for the main course was quite impressive, and the sirloin had excellent value for money. For dessert, we ordered the creme brulee. What's worth recommending is that this place offers a selection of wines that can be ordered in 125ml servings.”

“Came here for a birthday dinner. Place is spacious with a very nice ambience. The drinks menu has quite the variety of cocktails, I can happily recommend the Dark Cherry Cosmo and the Passion fruit Mojito. We had mains and desserts. Most upper £10s to low £20s with streak obviously pricier. I got the swordfish and it was delicious! Very good value for your money. Dessert was a Spiced Pear and Almond Tart which was also delightful. There is a decent selection of Gluten Free options and some vegetarian/vegan options. Slight wait on the main meal but it was somewhat busy and they were very apologetic. The car park is a little small so street parking might be needed. I would highly recommend for a fancy dinner/date night or even just a couple of cocktails at the bar. Will be coming back!”

“First time visiting today and we can’t wait to go back. A good menu, also a specials board that we were made aware of, lots of choice! The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and was spacious. Service was fantastic, we were greeted on arrival by Connie who looked after us from walking through the door to us leaving. She was really attentive, friendly and super helpful. Good menu for dietary requirements too. We were given some QR voucher codes for a Jan offer. Looking forward to going back again soon, the pizzas were amazing! Sadly too full to go for afters, gutted as the home made tiramisu on the specials board sounded amazing! Thanks again Connie for a lovely visit! See you again soon!”
