The service in this hotel is outstanding. Probably one of the best ones I have ever experienced. The room was lovely. Spacious and clean in calming colours. The food was delicious. Really tasty.

We recently hosted our staff Christmas party at Lulworth Lodge, and it was spectacular! From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Their friendliness and professionalism made the entire evening run smoothly, and their warm hospitality added to the festive atmosphere. The food was sublime, and the cocktails divine! We have enjoyed 2 meals here and they were absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable with great waiting service and the food arrived promptly and hot. Fresh produce was clearly used. Lots of gluten free options or if you are intolerant but can eat sourdough then are also lots of options. It has a beautiful location. I would highly recommend here if you want good quality food.

We came here for dinner and it was fantastic. The staff were lovely and super friendly, the atmosphere is bright but cozy and the food was gorgeous. I had the lobster and it was amazing. They have a few options for the non seafood lover, as well as great seafood options.

Lovely place to stay, the rooms are situated in a very quaint building above a small shop. The room was up a steep staircase so not suitable if you are unable to climb stairs. But the view from the room was lovely, the room itself was small but clean and tidy with tea making facilities. The pub itself was lovely with very friendly staff who were happy to help in any way, the food both in the evening band at breakfast was great. Thank you to all

Had a meal here on a day out to Wareham. Very friendly staff and good atmosphere. I had a very tasty falafel burger with a glass of Dorset cider, which tasted like real cider! I would recommend.

Visit this place every time I'm in Wareham. Good selection of drinks, good menu and lovely staff. Outside seating and right by the river. Tonight was steak night. Quality meat, well presented and you cook it yourself to your liking. Loved the chips and salad. Staff were very busy but outstanding in service and very friendly.

Had an evening meal which was good value and delicious. The best steak I've had in a very long time. Sticky toffee pudding was great too although could have done with an extra blob of ice-cream given how large the portion was.

Please could you display your app QR code online somewhere? The signal in the shop and the rest of the village is not strong enough to load it. Amazing team, cakes, pastries, bread, pies and sandwiches.

Made a visit here twice as the food is so nice. Lovely selection of food at good prices. The Dorset Apple cake is delicious and the bread was really fresh. Ideal to get your picnic supplies here if you are heading for Lulworth Cove.

Excellent Indian restaurant in Wareham. All the dishes were extremely scrumptious. Loved the sea food platter - the salmon fish and tiger prawns are a must have! The Kerala prawns main course dish was also a delight. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Dorset area.

This Indian-Nepalese restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, the warm, inviting ambiance and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The menu is a perfect blend of traditional Indian and Nepali flavors, offering a delightful variety of dishes to satisfy any palate. The *butter chicken* was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, while the *momos* (Nepalese dumplings) were simply out of this world – tender, flavorful, and served with a deliciously tangy dipping sauce. The spices were just right, balancing heat and flavor without overpowering the dish. The service was impeccable, with the staff going out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or looking to try something new with a Nepali twist, this place is an absolute must-visit. I can’t wait to return and try more of their incredible offerings. a really good Italian restaurant! Me and my girlfriend went out eating tonight and had a great time. The team and the food was amazing I recommend it to anyone it’s a better alternative than the old granary or the quay INN in my opinion! Also recommend to book a table instead of just walking in in the evening

Would recommend the squid starter, spicy nduja pizza's and the creamy tuscan chicken are some of our personal favourites!

Very friendly pub in Wareham. Cosy little beer garden and Guinness zero available and dog friendly. What's not to like?

We visited during the last Wareham Wednesday event and despite being very busy we had a lovely meal from a friendly team. It was Steak night and my Wife and I had a rump steak and steak burger. Both were cooked as we asked and very tasty. Excellent value all round and we'll be back.

We were recommended to eat lunch here at The Duke of Wellington by one of the locals we met in the street. Great value, piping hot food, served promptly and with a friendly smile! Thank you especially to Susie who made my mum and dad feel very welcome. The ham, egg and chips were really tasty as was the scampi. Lagers and beer were also great! We all really enjoyed our delicious food and a nice window seat. We will definitely visit again and recommend this super pub!

Today we have had a lovely family celebration lunch at the Countryman, it was truly excellent. The quality of the local produce used and the care taken in cooking and serving it is a very refreshing change these days. The prices are extremely reasonable and really hope this great team continue to succeed and survive these very tough times, in what from personal experience we know to be a very tough business. Warm and welcoming. Great hidden rustic country pub. Excellent food, atmospheric and good beer selection. Accommodation has good sized rooms, comfortable bed and clean. Rooms are scheduled to be upgraded shortly according to the manager (Nov 24). Next time I visit the area, this is were I'm heading....

We’ve just returned from a wonderful two-night stay at The Smugglers Inn. On arrival, Lloyd greeted us and made us feel welcome instantly - before any money had even exchanged hands he made sure we were ‘fed and watered’ after our long drive. Nothing was too much effort for any of the staff…. Special mentions to Rafaela our waitress,Ella, and the bar-staff who really looked after us. The Sunday lunch was fantastic, great menu in general and a great breakfast spread! The room was spotless, cozy and well-equipped. It was my partners birthday and they went out of their way to make it special for him. We would definitely recommend staying here and we have already talked about returning one day. I was on a one night walking break and feeling a little out of sorts. A lovely lady Hebe really looked after me and made me feel so welcome. I called in for a snack and coffee but booked a room. The amazing hospitality continued the next morning with delicious breakfast and Ellis really looked after me. I’ve only been away once on my own before and they really gave me confidence to do it again.

What an absolutely delightful experience! The food is amazing (the pulled pork: Oh, My Word!) the location is beautiful and meeting the owner was an absolute pleasure; she went above and beyond to ensure we felt warmly welcomed and completely at ease. Her attention to detail and genuine care made the experience all the more memorable. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, a beautiful setting, and top-notch hospitality!

Brilliant experience, camped one night and we were welcomed from the start! Ate in the pub and met the owners and staff that were very friendly and made us feel at home. Genuine effort was taken by all with everything from food service to the hospitality. Food was also spot on! Would highly recommend and will be returning.

My family and I had lunch here, we all really enjoyed our meals. 4 of us had roasts and 2 of us had burgers. The chips were really nice. The hostess was absolutely lovely, really kind, funny and lifted the mood. The young waiters seemed quite new and unfortunately there was a bit of a wait for drinks and the bill, and drinks were a bit expensive (£4.20 for a coke). However, I loved the atmosphere of the pub, it was really pretty and nice and quiet where we sat. Got to see lots of dogs! Wi-Fi is an added bonus :) I would recommend coming here, very good for a large group too.

We are staying at a small campsite not far away and this is the nearest pub so headed down Thursday for a drink with the dog to check it out. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming and the food looked amazing so we booked a table for Friday evening. Again everyone was friendly, service was good, the dog was made to feel very welcome too, she was offered a dog bed and given her own doggy menu so it’s super dog friendly which is always a bonus. The food was absolutely delicious, between us we had the smoked pork board and the smoked beef board and really enjoyed it. Always nice to be made welcome when away. We would definitely return if in the area again.

Food is very nice, if a bit on the higher end for a country pub. Still they need to pay bills or we lose them. The view of the castle is priceless in good weather, not storm Darragh! Watch out for the service charge.

Stayed here whilst walking the coast path. There is a long diversion away from the coast to Kingston, so it was in a great location. The pub is clearly very old and the rooms reflect this. Very clean and warm but slightly shabby. I arrived on a Sunday, and they were serving Sunday Roasts, which was excellent - perfect after a long walk. Breakfast was lovely too - quality ingredients and well cooked. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay

I’ve never been disappointed by The Scott Arms, it’s beautiful in the summer and in the winter the Sunday roast is incredible and great value. Really high quality beef, portion sizes are amazing, a great selection of veg and the Yorkshire pudding …. Delicious!! Already looking forward to my next visit 👍🏻
