Popped in for dinner this evening on the way home. The bar staff were lovely very friendly and accommodating. We had the mixed grill and Chicken Tikka. Wow is all I can say. The portion sizes were huge , food was fresh hot and very tasty. My partner fancies himself as a mixed grill king and he said this was the nicest he had ever had . I loved the curry there was so much chicken , hot fluffy rice and a lovely soft nan bread presented beautifully. We will definitely be returning very soon . Great value for money , lovely little pub , good food and lovely staff.

Christmas dinner party and there were at least 2 other parties there too. Staff were lovely. Food ok only critisism was my parsnip wasnt cooked enough, but considering they were catering for 50+ people I think they did very well. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening. Just 1 more thing..... please wipe the tables with something that does not leave a sticky residue.

Four of us stopped for a meal. We had not booked but this was not a problem. Service was quick and attentive despite the fact that it was 5pm on a Saturday. All four of us were very pleased with our meals. I had a beef lasagne, probably the largest one I have ever had and it was very enjoyable. We will definitely call again. We'll done to all the staff!

Went here to have Sunday Dinner. The staff are very friendly. Large selection of food at a reasonable price. Being a vegetarian, plumped for the Nut Roast. They make the best I have ever tasted. When inquired was told that it is made by the owner herself, superb. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Disabled friendly car park, small step to enter premises. Would highly recommend

We recently stayed in Stalbridge in a great Air Bnb and decided to have a takeaway from Saffron.What a great decision.The food was definitely one of the best Indian takeaways we have eaten for a long time.The food was excellent,perfectly cooked & Hot.It was accompanied by a generous,Fresh & Crisp Salad.Sadly not something you would usually get from an Indian Takeaway.Highly recommended and would definitely order again when we are next in the area.Do not be put off by the negative reviews or the appearance of the outside of the building.

My new go to curry house. Long may you continue with your great service and tasty food. The one in Stur is awful, since they changed hands.

We have been her twice in 6 months for a Sunday roast. Both meals were really rather excellent. The staff were welcoming and the place is clearly cared for and well thought out after its refurbishment. I wish I lived closer so I could visit weekly.

Visited this pub on Saturday evening. We were going for a meal and to watch the England rugby game. A quick call to the landlady before and she happily agreed to open a little early so we could watch the afternoon game too! We enjoyed a wonderfully warm reception, great atmosphere and a delicious burger and chips. Fabulous.

Had a really good Sunday Roast here with my family. Can thoroughly recommend the roast dinner and home made apple and blackberry crumble. Fantastic atmosphere and great service from the proprietors and staff.

Gorgeous pub with fantastic beer and amazing landlords. They host fantastic events including live music and are a great asset to the Stourton Caundle community. The site is beautiful with an awesome beer garden and a lush glamping field surrounded by glorious nature. Thanks John and Debbie for all your hard work and help with our celebration. We loved every minute! Also, big shout out to the adorable dog called Dave X

Had a couple of pints here on a Thursday evening , one of the best local pubs I have visited , lovely friendly inn , great seating area and outdoor toilets , as a HGV driver I enjoy a pint or 2 after I park up . Had permission to park in the local supermarket car park overnight and walked to The Swan . Really enjoyed the local atmosphere 10/10 🤠

Great pub suits all age groups ,busy bar and quieter lounge. New managers Andy/Alison great hosts. Come along and help them improve the only local in town. This pub is getting better as each day passes all down to hard work and good local support.

Small local pub. Just stopped for a quick drink with our small dog. Staff were very friendly. No flashy decor/amenities but basic old pub look. The bar divides it into two small areas. Was a Friday night so busy and quite crowded.

Lovely room with very comfy bed. We were in the area for a wedding and the staff were very helpful in organising transport to/from the venue for us, thank you!

Came for a Sunday roast and it was amazing! Food beautifully prepared and the waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Will be returning and look forward to trying the nut roast next time 😊

Second time I've stayed at this wonderful place bed like a soft marshmallow clean room fantastic delishous breakfast real money for value.

For the past two years I have used the online website to order from Mega Bites and have tried many menu items. For sure- my favourite would have to be the Chicken sandwich which I cannot help but crave more of. Delivery from this establishment is always swift and satisfactory. Mega Bites is always the first choice in my house for kebab and pizza delivery!

Been to mega bites for first time this evening. I had kofta kebab and my son had cheese burger. Excellent food. Great value for money. Extremely friendly staff and nice clean establishment. Will definitely be going back. Thank you.
