Food was lovely, it’s my second time going. First I can say was better than the second. Unfortunately a gentleman got ill so I felt the attention to diners was taken away. Waiter wasn’t into it (obviously flapping about gentleman) and food (Pie) came out with tough pastry. Didn’t really get a chance to say owt as plates were whisked away. Service was definitely slow but we understood why. Just didn’t feel we got what we paid for food wise.
Beautiful location, easy parking. Relaxing and a warm welcome with a good ambience. Service was okay, along with food which was home cooked and a nice selection. I would definitely return
Hadn't been here for a while, but will definitely go back again soon. We both had the Irish beef and Guinness stew with mash and warm chunky bread. It was amazing. It was very filling but still found room for the crumble and custard. Host very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. A real country pub.
Had an absolutely delicious lunch here today, liver, bacon and onions for me and a steak and ale pie off of the specials menu for my husband. Lovely atmosphere and really friendly staff, we will certainly be back, next time we will hopefully have room for a pudding as they to sounded delicious. Thank you.
Lovely smaller pub. Friendly and professional staff. Great menu. Food was wonderful 😋 Will be back again.
