This is a great place to bring family friends and loved ones. There is ample parking available within the area. There is also disable parking available here onsite. The food and service is excellent especially off peak times. Booking is better especially if you want to be on at peak times. There is good selection of wines, beer, cider and spirit's. Food is great and one could choose between light bites of main dish too. Highly recommended to everyone who want to have a great time with family friends and loved ones. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Very personable staff. Great food . Large free carpark. On a busy roundabout but you hardly noticed this once inside the lovely clean friendly pub. Highly recommend

We have lived for here 18 years, and about 1/4 mile away from The Bear Cross Pub, but this was the first time the two of us had been in here. We were not disappointed. The food was really nice and tasty. So nice to have Saturday evening meal cooked for us so local. We will definitely come again with the family.

Lovely place. Always good food. Went for Christmas menu recently. Very nice experience. Only suggestion would be to have Yorkshire puddings with your Christmas turkey as other pubs offer this. It would make the Christmas meal even better. Thanks for a lovely experience.

This has to be one of the best places I have ever been staff awesome food amazing place and setting spectacular This place woukd be the perfect setting for a wedding venue the garden out back is big lovely views and just so nice to be around If your in the area or even if your not come have a look and something to.eat you will not be disappointed

Nine of us went to the Pig for a family pre Christmas lunch yesterday (Saturday). We had pre-ordered which made things so much easier and slick; and every dish which was produced was absolutely delicious. The starters were generous….I had the brisket of beef; so, so good! Mr Husband had the trout which was carpaccio with wasabi and in a beetroot kvass. My son in law had fried Brie along with several others and those babies were melt in the mouth yum. Main courses; the belly pork was to die for. Most of us had that one! Duck was also excellent. And whilst I don’t always have pudding, the special was a Christmas themed bread pudding and it was fabulous. Again; a very generous portion; with a lovely crunch to the outside and buttery and sweet on the inside. All the other desserts looked equally wonderful. The staff were charming and so tolerant of all the demands of a big group of (mostly older!) people. Especially Jamie. Thank you Wimborne Pig! We will be back for sure.

We booked a table at the Wimborne Pig for our wedding anniversary and had an absolutely wonderful experience! We came with our 11-month old baby and the staff were absolutely brilliant and very helpful around her. The food was superb! The most delicious pork belly I've ever had- cooked to perfection, full of flavour and garnished with blueberry sauce. My husband had the beef burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. We both have allergies and I'm currently on a very restrictive gluten, dairy and egg free one. This wasn't an issue at all- the meal was adapted to cater for it. Overall a five star experience and a must try when in Wimborne!

Had a meal here tonight. One of the best tasting meals I have had out in a long long time. Presentation was on point, as was the list of local ingredients. Opted for the mushroom starter and pork belly main. It was exciting just tasting it all. Atmosphere is brilliant. We will definately be going again. Brilliant 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Very nice meal with my friend, would highly recommend. Good changing weekly set menu with a good selection of nice food on the a la carte menu. Opted for the prawn starter and burger main and both were very nice.

Finally tried out Rosemary in Wimborne. Booked a table for 8pm and was shown to our table promptly on arrival. Decor is nice. Some tables are very close together. The menu is varied, so something for everyone. However with the lighting and gold embossed sections on the menu it was a little hard to read. I ordered a glass Turkish rose wine, which was lovely. Breads and dips arrived at the table and were complimentary (nice touch). We had the mixed meze to start, which was great. Main meals were good size portions and very good. The restaurant was busy, so the noise level was quite high. My only criticism was the attentiveness of staff. Once are food arrived at the table, we were not checked on or asked if we would like more drinks etc for the rest of the evening. Would I go back…yes definitely. Food was great. Go and give it a try.

We recently celebrated my wife's birthday at Rosemary Wimborne located in the heart of Wimborne Minster and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The ambiance was both elegant and inviting, and the staff were incredibly attentive and professional. We capped off the night with a wonderful birthday cake, the perfect end to a perfect day. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. I took my wife here for her 40th birthday last Friday. Our meal was booked for 8pm, we had a friendly greeting at the door and shown to our table. Lovely decor and a very nice atmosphere. My wife ordered a red wine and I ordered the Turkish larger, which was very nice. We're ordered the hot Meze, which was amazing and we loved our main courses. The staff checked if everything was good a couple of times. All in all, we really enjoyed our experience at Rosemary.

Frequently here great staff always with a smile and a can do attitude! Lovely location and when the weather behaves a great garden to chill out in too! As for the food best Hunters Chicken and Lasagna!

Visited with family party of 9 ppl including 1 wheelchair user and 1 infant. Much appreciated that they were able to take our large party booking which was last minute following a family function the day before, especially in the lead up to Xmas on a Saturday. Menu was basic pub grub with plenty enough choice but good quality, hot and food was good. I had chicken curry which was lovely and others enjoyed the lasagna and fish and chips. Portions generous. Service decent and our food came in a timely enough fashion and simultaneously. There was a service charge but would say prices were pretty average and decent enough value for money. Easy to park. My father is a wheelchair user and the ramps, doorways, toilet etc worked well for him despite it being an older building with plenty of character. There were also baby change facilities in the disabled loo.Quite old fashioned decor but kind of part of the charm of a traditional English pub.

We have just enjoyed a fabulous meal with great service. We ordered a taxi as my wife had fractured her ankle recently and the road is a little narrow, so although not a long journey back to Wilksworth farm we wanted to remain safe. Fabulously the owner offered us a lift now that is above and beyond in my book, I wish I had a local pub near me with great food, great people and a sense of community..... booked again for Sunday roast.

We popped in on Thursday night, one of the hottest nights of the summer so far! 2 cocktails for £15 and 3 tapas for £18. We sat in one of the booths and were given the menus. Plenty of cocktails and wines to choose from. Cocktails were lovely. We ordered 6 of the tapas dishes, all very tasty. Staff are lovely. It was very warm where we seated, so one of the of the lovely bar staff found us a fan! Now, that’s what I call service! Had a lovely evening. If you haven’t been before go and try out this little gem in Wimborne.

I hired the upstairs room for an intimate hen party and it was perfect! The service, food and atmosphere was unmatched! 100% recommend for special occasions such as birthdays, hen parties, christenings etc! Thank you Emma and the team and ten bottles.

Gorgeously cosy booths, for a romantic evening. The ambiance here is lovely and reminds me of Isabels in Penhill. The service is good and the food is nice. I loved the intimate atmosphere. The food, although good, is not quite on a par with Renoufs, who have a better selection of wines as well. Renouf's food within Ten Bottles would be perfection!

Very cozy atmosphere. The bare brick walls were tastefully incorporated into the decor. Our party of 4 were ensconced by the door on some very high seats. Many women seem to frequent the place. We had cocktails 🍸 the pineapple daiquiri followed by a margarita. Very well mixed. They cost a total of £16 for the two. Our overall bill was around £60.00. They also do a range of Tapas dishes which seemed to go down well with the other clients in the bar area 🤔. Definitely worth a further visit when I am next in the area. Recommended if slightly pricey!

All the staff were amazing. Food was brilliant and atmosphere was lovely. Coloured lights over the place, nice forestry wall. Italian land marks dotted around the place. Very big menu, lots to chose from.

Went for a family meal, there was 11 of us! Great service and the food was delicious the only thing that let it down was they put a 10% service charge on our bill.. I feel this should be optional we would have left a tip anyway as the service was great!

Great service from charming staff. After I ordered, it turned out my steak had sold out, so they upgraded it for free. Food is five stars when judged in the mid-tier price range. My steak was perfectly cooked, and everything else was decent or very nice. No complaints.

Stayed at the cockerel for a night when exploring the new forest. This is THE BEST spot for an authentic pub. Hosts were really welcoming and loved the quirky features inside and out. Food was also delicious! Wish I could give more stars!!!! 10/10

Very tastefully decorated and homely village pub. We had Sunday lunch which was very well presented and taste lovely. Staff really helpful and good natured. Lovey warm greeting from the owner, Margaret, on arrival. Kids potions available. Very enjoyable.

We have just met some friends for Sunday lunch at The Cockerel. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a lovely table that was not crowded or too close to other people. The Sunday roast was excellent. Beautifully cooked beef, six veg , roast potatoes and an enormous Yorkshire pudding. The vegetarian option was a mushroom and spinach wellington which was really tasty. We all had sweets which were equally good. We will definitely make the trip out to this fantastic pub again. Staying at The 1777 Albion and ordered a takeaway pizza! It was incredible, lovely base, sauce, heaps of cheese, nice pepperoni, just wish it had been cut, with having no cutlery in the room.. but still managed to finish it like a caveman with quite literally only a teaspoon for my tool 🤣

We were there for lunch. 5 adult and 1 children. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurant. Lunch came with salad and a main (pasta/ pizza , many options!) . It was 55gbp per person. This is the best cost per value restaurant we ever had in the UK. Booking is advised as they could be very full.

My mother is local and eats here often with friends and family. We eat there on Tuesday 26th November and we're served and entertained by Mick. He made my mother laugh and feel at ease. Food and service were excellent. Thank you to Mick and his team, we shall be back.

Went today lunch time,16 of us,most had the carvery, some ordered from the menu. All good service at the bar. All the food served hot, good selection of dessert. Good price. Will come back again.

Extremely satisfying to see an establishment offering such good value for money. We visit this place about once a month as friends and I visit the Brisge House with my husband about once a month to have the carvery. Fantastic value for money, it is a pity that other local eateries do not seem to adopt a similar business model. They seem to be busy at the Bridge House, each and every time I visit. Very pleasant service, excellent choice of vegetables and three types of meat are offered at the carvery. Super happy to be visiting this place, a really great value for money. We shall be back very soon. Thank you.

Went for a 2 course Christmas dinner on a Wednesday lunch time. The starters were delicious. The mushrooms on toast were a very generous portion for a starter. We opted for the carvery which had a large choice of vegetables to accompany. The meat was nice and juicy, the vegetables were all done except for the cauliflower cheese which was very overcooked. Otherwise, the meal was fine, the staff were accommodating and would recommend it for a nice carvery lunch.
