My daughter prepared her 11+ with Advantage Tuition, attended the Saturday classes and really enjoyed them. They were very organised, covered all the topics during the year, organised the homework and tests to practice at home, had mini assessments every term to evaluate their progression and they offered parent consultations. During the summer they also offered revion days and mock exams. All these really helped my daughter, and she ultimately performed well in the 11+ with a good result. The tutoring was very, helpful for my daughter she learned curicullum which she would not be able to learn in time in her primary school. With Priya's help, Kaja managed to pass the Kent test and also the Shepway test so we could consider a grammar school as her future form of education. Fantastic and fun support provided by Arthur, Bonnie and Henry. My boy loved the challenge of exceeding his own expectations, and attending the mock exams. He was confident sitting the exam and took in a variety of skills taught by the centre and from home. The groups were nice and small and the light hearted humour was welcome after a long school day.

Since my son started attending RTC Maidstone in October, his ability to stay focused in school has really improved, and his handwriting is a lot better. He enjoys attending and always looks forward to Lucie's class each week. Feedback is given after every lesson, which I find very useful. Lucie is very patient, warm, and accommodating. Tutor World really help my child, I tried others for lessons for the 11+ for my son. I was told he won’t pass as he lacks focus, but when I went to tutor world for an assessment, Ruvini was very helpful and told me with little effort my son could do well at the exam, am so happy I listen to her advice, as I almost gave up. Both my son and daughter have had tutoring with Richard and I can not recommend him highly enough. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable on the different areas of the curriculum and 11+ but he also has a way of making the children believe in themselves, giving them the confidence they need to succeed. Richard treats each child as an individual, tailoring his sessions to what the child needs as opposed to a ‘one hat fits all’ approach. Richard has been a fantastic tutor for my Daughter, who is shy, nervous and was very reluctant to go to a tutor! Richard was amazing at putting her at ease from the off, creating a positive learning environment, tailoring to her needs and making it fun. She originally saw him to give her confidence in her maths and English and then progressed to 11+ learning and she came on leaps and bounds. She looked forward to going every week! I wish he had been tutoring when my Son was doing his 11+ as we tried all the usual tutors in Ashford (large group sessions, using computers, 1:1) and none were as good. Richard was great to speak too, gave brilliant feedback, and just helped my daughter take that extra step. He gave her confidence, and his message to her just resonated with her brilliantly. Whilst we didn't have regular tutoring, we gained valuable insight from the 11+ mocks and then a couple of 2 hrs intensive sessions the week before the Kent test.

My son finds school a little tricky but having a quieter, encouraging environment at RP Tutoring he really is improving. Richard provides regular and helpful feedback on my sons progress and focuses on areas he finds more difficult rather than all of the curriculum. This really is beneficial as it does not waste time on areas he is strong at.
