The tutoring was very, helpful for my daughter she learned curicullum which she would not be able to learn in time in her primary school. With Priya's help, Kaja managed to pass the Kent test and also the Shepway test so we could consider a grammar school as her future form of education. What can I say about The Class Room, not only do they have a super wonderful selection of children's and young adult books, but the team are so kind and community minded. Adam has been a spearhead for local events, Halloween, Christmas, and most recently delivering over 7k books to local schools for world book Day. They also support local authors and help self-published ones get their books on display. Alongside this, Adam also runs the classroom and delivers online tuition for kids of all ages. Wow what an amazing bookshop! Highly recommend, especially those with young children as it even has a slide within the bookshelves. Free storytime and craft workshops every week, amazing friendly and helpful staff and a fantastic range of books at competitive prices. My 4 year old and I love it.

We used tutor world for our son in preparation for the 11+ exams and we found them to be very good, professional, flexible, attentive, and caring. They put a lot of time and effort to work with him and I felt they had active interest in helping him and all the other children succeeded.

Tutor World really help my child, I tried others for lessons for the 11+ for my son. I was told he won’t pass as he lacks focus, but when I went to tutor world for an assessment, Ruvini was very helpful and told me with little effort my son could do well at the exam, am so happy I listen to her advice, as I almost gave up. Vicky has been a fantastic tutor for my daughter for 8 years right up to her GCSE exams. She tailored her lessons to my daughter's needs boosting her confidence. Vicky also greatly helped my son by providing a couple of adhoc lessons to assist him with understanding some very difficult equations on his electrical course. As a result both passed their exams. Vicky is such a talented tutor, my daughter had an English teacher at school that was focusing too much on the negative. She and my son had had lessons with Vicky before (in yr6) so I felt confident she’d be the perfect person to give my daughter (yr10) the boost she needed. She had weekly lessons with Vicky up until going through her GCSEs and the change in her attitude towards learning and also her confidence in her own abilities has been seriously dramatic in the last few months. Rita is such a lovely tutor, she took the time out of her day to make sure my daughter has the right work to complete and to ensure that she is getting the right tasks in order to do well in her gcses. With Rita my daughter was able to jump 2 whole grades which is a massive improvement. I could not recommend Rita enough, she is very good at what she does!

Fiona Cameron was incredible from the very first introduction. She spent time listening to our daughter to better understand what her capabilities and interests were. Fiona modified her approach and teaching style to suit our daughter which paid dividends. As the weeks progressed the creative writing that was being produced was so incredibly powerful and descriptive. Fiona was great at sharing her enthusiasm for her subject and always encouraging and engaging. I think it was particularly helpful that Fiona made a point of showing how thrilled she was at the results of our daughter’s efforts. I’m pleased to say that as a result of everything our daughter achieved an incredible result. I can’t recommend Fiona more highly, a fabulous teacher and a gentle person to be around.

Both my children attended in centre and online Compass sessions. My son completed the 11+ package and while there was frustrations with the package content and occasional online issues, the staff were always eager to help. My son had some great tutors, Taryn, Ben, Maddison are just a few that always made him feel relaxed and calm. In addition I cannot even begin to explain how much they accommodate families last minute changes or even the occasion where you have forgotten a session completely. My experience of the managers (Sian, Katie & Taryn) has been 100% positive; they are patient, polite and helpful. Both my children passed their Kent Test with good marks. Thank you 😊

My daughter has been attending Explore Ashford for a few months now and loves every minute of it! The tutors interact with the children with such enthusiasm and bring a different concept to learning - Elise can’t wait to attend every lesson and her confidence has improved tenfold. School can be quite overwhelming for our son but we have found the team in Ashford very supportive and inclusive with our child. I cannot recommend Richard enough. My daughter felt happy and comfortable from the first day with him and he teaches in a relaxed and fun way that engages and delivers great results. The materials, support and communication provided by him is fantastic. Highly recommended!

I have a child diagnosed with ADHD. Richard was accommodating, a pleasure to deal with, friendly and professional and my kid bounced into every lesson with a positive attitude. I genuinely couldn’t recommend Richard enough. I’d give him 10 stars if I could. Oh and he got my kid to pass the Kent test with flying colours. Will definitely return to try to get my younger kid to also be tutored by him in the coming years.

We enrolled our son in Kumon for maths since the last 4 months and we have seen a remarkable difference in his attitude towards studying. He is much quick in doing his calculations and loves challenges, which each level bring with it. He has always been a bright child but lacked the ability to sit and focus, as would get easily distracted. We have noticed Kumon has taught him routine and discipline in such short time and hope it continues this way. Tony Capozzi the instructor at the East Malling Centre, is very good in his ways in inspiring young kids at concentrating and doing their best especially boys. He also encourages and guides parents in motivating and working along with their child in achieving their goals together!

Tony the Instructor at the Kings Hill & Malling Kumon Centre has really helped my 11 year old daughter progress with her maths. Bella started 3 years ago and was struggling to grasp the fundamentals of addition, subtraction, multiplication and especially division. Her confidence was low and she would try and avoid maths questions at all costs. Starting slowly, Tony built up her confidence with the basics, and as she completed each stage, she moved onto the next level and built up her competency. She is now proficient in all of the basics. This has made a huge difference in both her school work and her self esteem. I am incredibly grateful to both Tony, and his lovely team and would highly recommend Kumon.

I can’t recommend Tony enough! My 9 year old daughter had gaps in her learning from a school move and Kumon has plugged those gaps and built the quick recall she needed to improve. I would highly recommend Jeni from Sunnydene! My daughter was preparing for the Kent test and my friend had recommended Jeni for Mock tests (we already had a tutor by this point). The mock tests ran very smoothly, the feedback was very helpful and valuable. We focused on the feedback provided and the second mock test result showed a massive improvement on my daughter’s scores! My son really enjoyed the sessions with Jeni and they gave him lots of confidence. By the time it came to doing the Kent test, he was looking forward to it. Since my son started attending RTC Maidstone in October, his ability to stay focused in school has really improved, and his handwriting is a lot better. He enjoys attending and always looks forward to Lucie's class each week. Feedback is given after every lesson, which I find very useful. Lucie is very patient, warm, and accommodating. The office staff are very friendly and always ready to answer any questions. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic and fun support provided by Arthur, Bonnie and Henry. My boy loved the challenge of exceeding his own expectations, and attending the mock exams. He was confident sitting the exam and took in a variety of skills taught by the centre and from home. The groups were nice and small and the light hearted humour was welcome after a long school day.
