Extremely pleased with the work and level of service from Rumen to fix a central locking fault on my Meriva. He answered my initial enquiry immediately, carrying out diagnostics and advising which replacement parts were needed and fitting these, which indeed fixed the problem. Really excellent customer service, very quick to respond, friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

I searched online for local auto electricians. Came across A1 and I’m certainly glad I called upon them!. Not only was the gentleman polite, friendly and professional, but he managed to rectify a very complex electrical issue in my boss’ Jaguar XJ 1996 Sport! He was informative throughout the diagnostic process, quoting me accurately before the job begun! He fully stripped back the interior in order to source a ‘short’ in the wiring circuit. Not only was it found, it was repaired to the highest of standards and I was thrilled to see the interior lights all work correctly again!. Rumen is good man and an exceptional auto electrician whose expertise and professionalism truly stand out. My Audi a3 had completely switched off while I was out with family- jump start, battery change couldn’t revive the car. I called Rumen and he arrived on a Sunday and fixed the car in an hour. On the same day however the car presented a different problem for which he rearrived promptly. He identified the issue, ordered the part and repaired it on the day the part was received. He even offered me lift back to my home when I left the car for repair. Rumen combines technical knowledge with a genuine willingness to help, taking the time to explain the problem and repair options in a way that’s easy to understand. Reed Electrical fitted an EV charge point at my home. We needed to have the supply "unlooped" first and Miles did the application to SSEN for this work. The installation was very neat and tidy. Miles was one of quite a few electricians to quote on installing a car charger at our house. As this installation was not straightforward a lot of other providers could not figure it out. Miles provided a competitive quote for an unusual fitting and completed it very quickly with no dramas. I would have no issues recommending him.

Having just downsized I was anxious for an electrician to complete several tasks at my new home. I phoned 10 from various advertised sites and only 2 answered my call; one could start in 2 months time whilst the only other one actually arrived 2 days later. Samar provided an excellent service from the initial enquiry, the question and quote stage, and on the day of installation. Samar remained on site from installing the EV charger right through to ensuring it was recognised by the HIVE app. He didn’t leave the site until the charger was useable which involved contacting HIVE multiple times and logging into the laptop to manage the options and set up. Samar also made a very neat job of both the inside electrics as well as on the exterior, avoiding any visible wires. This was much appreciated as this would have shown on the white render. All paperwork and certificates followed through on the same day. I couldn’t recommend Samar more highly.

I have been let down or not had calls returned by so many tradesmen over recent years, it’s like they just can’t be bothered with smaller jobs even though they still charge loads. This morning I realised my 30amp fuse was tripping meaning no dishwasher or washing machine and power to outbuilding. I found this company and called, Sam was with me within an hour, not only did he solve that issue, he also fixed a kitchen socket after running several tests and a bedroom light, he is truly professional and knowledgeable and also really polite and easy going. I will definitely be using him going forward and can’t recommend him enough, today could have been a nightmare but ended up being very successful and stress free, thank you very much Sam.

We recently used The Big Green Electrical Company for our home studio conversion. Dan was reliable, professional and helpful from the very beginning, giving us advice on what would work best and we trusted his expertise and knowledge. Daniel and the Big Green Electrical Company have been outstanding. When I was planning and building my new house I really wanted to work with a solar provider that would work with me to understand my wider electrical requirements and design a solar system to match. Working with Daniel he designed a system to utilise the maximum amount of roof space on the house with 25 solar panels using an in roof GSE tray system for a neat look. This also saved money on roof tiles! It uses a Solaredge 8 KW 3 phase hybrid inverter with DC coupled battery storage and a home backup system that keeps the house running even in a grid loss. The system is making ample solar and has already generated over £800 (2.2 MW) in 2 months which has take a massive bite out of the electrical cost of running a large new build property complete with heat pumps, car chargers, batter Nothing has been too much trouble and he has helped with advice and guidance around other electrical elements of the house, working closely with the main contractor and electricians to ensure everything worked well together. Following the completion of the install he has been diligent with all the certificates, paperwork, handover pack and also helped deal with the DNO when they have been less than helpful. In this busy market where you want a competent, trusted, diligent and friendly provider who will design and install a system that works for your needs and not leave you in the lurch then Daniel and the Big Green Electrical Company are where you want to go.

When my kitchen light died I was in dire need of an electrician. Fortunately Dan was recommended to me by a neighbour who explained that whilst he had not had occasion to use his services he had been highly recommended. On contacting Dan I quickly found out that the recommendation was very accurate. He dealt with my problem in a timely manner ( I was fortunate to have same day service) supplying and fitting a new fixture that afternoon.
