Very good and will hopefully be back in this week for more work. The staff have very good people skills and are good at explaining things in a coherent way. The mechanic often calls to explain the details before carrying out any additional work needed, which is reassuring. The friendly and calm approach they have makes the stressful experience of car problems a little bit better. I'm no expert on prices but they seem reasonable too. 2022: Just had a service and still good. Very cheerful people. Thanks 👍 2023: Still great

I took my Mini Cooper S in for a full set of brake pads and I couldn't fault these guys. They replaced the pads and also reset all the fault codes on the car. They did the work for nearly half the price as the main dealer quoted. It's refreshing when a garage quotes a price and sticks to it and does the work exactly as requested - with no BS upselling. I'll definitely be using them again in future.

I took my car in for its' annual service recently. The staff were very helpful and answered my questions. They phoned me later to discuss the extra work which was needed, giving me different options. The service was completed quickly and was reasonably priced. Since the service, my car is running more smoothly and I have no hesitation in recommending Ivydene for service and MOT.

Sorted my MOT out for me, only garage that seemed to of actually gave my car a good check over. Fair pricing and the staff are a very friendly bunch, can’t complain really. I know where to come next time :)

Definitely the best place to go!!! I crashed my car from the front damaging quite a lot of stuff that I have no idea about. I had been to 4 different garages all of which gave me very expensive estimates. I was so terrified as to how I would get my car sorted and then landed myself at HCL. Their prices far beat the previous estimates I had gotten so far and the staff was very assuring and their hard work and honesty had put my mind at easy. They Kept me in the loop with giving me regular updates with pictures and made sure that their level of service did not drop whatsoever I would definitely be recommending this place to everyone as THEY ARE THE BEST!!!

Absolute perfect service. Not only took me in to sort out alternator same day from 3pm but also did one over on car for a 5 hour trip back home. Honestly life saver coming back from holiday to find car is dead at the airport. Greatly priced on parts and labour and very fair. Communication on the repair was top notch and if i was local FMC garage would be the only place i take my Car. 100% recommend.

Great smooth experience. I called for MOT and was booked for the same day, went at the appointed time, was informed that they were running late by 10 minutes. The MOT was done on time with quick and efficient service. Liked the attitude of the team very positive environment. No pushy sales or false promises, prices reasonable. Great service. Very quick. All tge staff were lovely. You can sit and wait in a nice waiting area with a coffee machine, just remember to take a pound coin if you want a coffee!

Took the wife’s touran in today I do all my own car maintenance and knew it was fairly sound car was impressed with how fast and courteous they are and advised on the the rear tyres which I knew about definitely use these guys again

I needed to drive to London. All of a sudden the coolant light came up. But I was not able to open the bonnet. So I went to a few garages. A Halfords staff asked me to try this garage. So I went to MC, just before closing time. The man at the reception opened it for me, I filled up the coolant and he helped me to close it. I don’t know his name but that man’s a legend.

Called MC Motors when my work van broke down on me I was given a contact to have my van recovered and dropped over to them. Within a couple of days I’ve now got my van back. I’ve personally had nothing but great service from MC Motors and they are always as accommodating as they possibly can be for a busy garage. Needed a lower engine mount fitted and these guys fitted it like it was F1. Very convenient that all the work was done outside the home than taking the car to the garage. Explained the damage to the old component & very polite. Will definitely use again soon when needed 🙏🏻

We always get our cars serviced here! Proper mechanics that do a thorough job and don't just replace the part that has gone wrong which is in theory cheaper until the next piece in the chain goes wrong then you are out a car again and more money when it could have just been fixed the first time properly. So, cars are expensive but do the job once and do it right saves you time and money. I'm sure they could do it the other way too if that's all you could afford.
