We used TH&TH for some decorative elements at our wedding in Sussex in August and could not be happier with the service. We chose to hire some floral/decorative elements as well as a lounge set for the barn style venue and the pieces worked so well with our theme - the photo spot which was decorated by the team was particularly popular with our guests and we've got some amazing photos and memories. Thank you to all the team for helping to add those special finishing touches to our day.

We were recommended by upwaltham barns (our chosen venue) to use to have and to hire. We are so glad we did! Everything turned out perfectly. I had my wedding on 31st October 2024 so wanted to go with the autumnal theme with a few pumpkins added. They did not disappoint, everything was beautiful. I certainly wouldn’t have been able to do this myself, they captured my vision perfectly throughout the whole venue. Thank you very much for helping to make our day perfect!❤️

To have & to hire were recommended suppliers via our wedding venue, I cannot express how happy I am we used them! They took my vision and made it come to life, I can’t even put in to words how stunning the barn looked. It actually took my breath away when I got to the aisle at how amazing it all looked. I have had so many comments from guests about how stunning the barn looked and whether the flowers were real or not! They took so much stress away from someone who likes to be in control 😆 I got to the venue at 9am and they were already up on ladders installing the foliage! Communication with them was easy, they are so friendly and amazing at what they do. Thank you so much, Mr & Mrs Oliver ❤️

Me and my partner got married on the 17th of July at the beautiful Brookfield Barn venue. As soon as we booked in our date I booked us in for a meeting with the lovely team at To Have and To Hire. From start to finish we had the best experience. Everyone I spoke to was super friendly and helpful, answering any questions I had and helping us to make the best decisions with the vision we had in mind. On the big day, the entire team put my mind at ease with their super fast set up but with an extreme attention to detail! Not only did they perfect our vision perfectly, but they even allowed us to use some of their spare faux flowers to decorate my own sweet cart so that it would tie in with the rest of the flower arrangements on our tables! Our guests complemented every inch of the styling, from the beautiful faux flowers that lined our aisle, to the mixture of high and low centre pieces which allowed people to speak freely and easily around the room. The team even ensured that the chair sashes and table runners matched my colour scheme perfectly! The team created some real statement pieces, these being the utterly jaw dropping faux flower wisteria ceiling with matching wisteria trees, creating a stunning fairytale feel to the barn, and the lovely memorial ladder complete with Bay tree and candles for all our beloved family members who could not be with us. All these things, combined with the cake hoop, the unique table plan and the welcome sign, all with matching florals, tied everything together beautifully and made for a truly magical wedding day and we can't thank To Have and To Hire enough for that, we are forever grateful. You really did make our special day just that extra bit special 🤍 can't recommend TH&TH enough! 🤍

Lucia is absolutely incredible! We got married in July 2023 and Lucia was absolutely amazing! From the start of the process, Lucia was responsive to my emails and messages and answered all my questions and concerns, Lucia listened to our vision for our day and offered the best advice on how to achieve the romantic dreamy look we were going for. Lucia absolutely made our day so much more special by being there as a calming influence and taking on our vision and completely bringing it to life and giving it the heart and soul that we desired. Lucia’s eye for detail and bringing the colours, venue decor and vision to life is second to none. Our wedding breakfast room looked absolutely breathtaking and we have had so many compliments on how professional and helpful Lucia was throughout the day. We were so lucky to find and work with Lucia for our August wedding. Having her as our wedding planner was by far the best decision we made. We had ideas about what we wanted, but not a cohesive vision - Lucia managed to take those strands and turn them into something tangible that flowed throughout our whole wedding celebration. Even with a wedding planner, last minute issues pop up - but having Lucia there meant they were pretty much resolved before we were even aware there was a problem. With busy jobs, this was invaluable. In the run up to the day, Lucia was nothing short of fantastic. But on our wedding weekend is where she was a real superstar. For us everything about our wedding went seamlessly. Not only has she got a great eye for detail (our wedding breakfast room looked amazing and she even managed to artistically disguise some scuffs on the wall) but her energy just made everyone she interacted with (our guest and suppliers) so at ease and happy. The morning after a very long day and night (!), Lucia and her daughter even came back to the venue and made mini bouquets from our flowers that our guests could take home with them. We had so many comments from close friends and family telling us how amazing our wedding planner was - and Alex was recommending her to everyone we know. I think that says it all! Lucia was brilliant. Based on friends I know who got married at the same time having a wedding planner is so helpful but having the right wedding planner is the key! Everything about our wedding weekend was not only perfect, it was stress free and I know that was because of Lucia’s efforts.

We initially approached Lucia for event styling, wanting to bring cohesion to our vision for a beautiful wedding at the Corinthia London. We struggled to find any inspiration pictures for what we wanted as it didn’t exist. Lucia offered both simple ideas and more extravagant options to bring cohesion without pressuring us. Her expertise extended beyond design elements to enhancing our guests’ experience, suggesting unique ideas we hadn’t considered. Both of us were quite time poor so it was a relief to know there was someone looking after these things! The day before the wedding my mother had an unexpected injury. Unsure of how serious it was, I contacted Lucia first. Within three hours of scheduled departure we had two ambulances at the house. Lucia stayed in contact as we traveled to the venue with all luggage. We put Lucia in contact with my Dad in the hopes my parents would be able to travel to the venue later. Lucia researched transport options and arranged for them to join us once mum was released from the hospital. Not as easy as it sounds when you live in Kent, the wedding is in London, and your parents are at a hospital in a location you don’t even know. This was above and beyond her duties but it truly speaks to her caring nature. I will never forget how Lucia kept it together for us on that day. Many guests called it the best wedding they’d ever attended, largely thanks to Lucia’s seamless coordination with her suppliers. On the day she was in her element. She ensured everything ran like clockwork, creating a truly phenomenal and unforgettable event. Lucia, thank you for your dedication, late nights, and guidance in making our wedding day one to remember!

My husband and I got married 2 weeks ago at San Galgano Abbey in Tuscany, Italy, and we can honestly say we had the best day of our lives and this is all down to the incredible planning, guidance and support from Ionian Weddings! Maria was our wedding planner based here in England and right from the start, she was there to answer our million-and-one questions and nothing was too much for her to sort, even when adding extra bits on just a couple of weeks before the wedding date. She also offered in some of her own ideas which we absolutely loved and helped to make our day even more special, for example for our Prosecco tower, she suggested having fountain sparklers at this point which truly made a magical moment on our special day! Communication was fantastic, emails were answered promptly and our video calls with Maria also helped to set plans in place. During our wedding day, we had Serena who coordinated our wedding out in Italy, along with Nico from the venue itself. Both were absolutely incredible - Serena could tell that we were nervous about how everything would come together and she went out of her way to make sure we were happy with everything and couldn’t have been anymore attentive on the day. Every tiny little detail of our wedding day was planned to perfection - the table decor was just stunning, the flowers matched our ‘sunset colour’ theme perfectly and our vision that we sent in photos truly came to life!! If you are thinking of having your wedding abroad, we couldn’t recommend Ionian weddings enough - they are just FANTASTIC and we feel so lucky to have had Maria, Serena and all the team in helping to make our wedding day the best day of our lives! My husband and I got married in Lindos, Rhodes Greece last week! Ionian weddings were fantastic throughout the whole process and would definitely recommend booking your wedding with them! Firstly we’d like to thank Helen our UK coordinator who listened and helped guide us to create our wedding plans and secondly we’d like to thank Michele our wedding planner in Greece who made all the plans come true and help create our dream wedding! We would also like to thank the Ammos Beach Bar and Restaurant team for delivering a wonderful service for us with great food and welcoming staff. They also organised all the taxis for us and our guests at the end of the night which really took a lot of the hassle away!

We decided to get married in Sorrento, Italy and used Ionian Weddings due to the positive reviews and comprehensive, reasonably priced packages available. Although slightly apprehensive - as we have never attended a wedding abroad - we certainly weren't disappointed. The booking process and wedding arrangements all ran smoothly as a result of the help and support from our UK planner Maria and Viola in Sorrento made sure everything ran to plan on the big day! We were married in Sorrento and had our reception at Villa Antiche Mura and I can honestly say the experience of the day exceeded all our expectations - together with those of our guests. As well as the beautiful surroundings the food, service and attentiveness of the staff was of a very high standard and I cannot think of one negative aspect to mention. Sorrento is a beautiful place to visit and an absolutely perfect place to celebrate a wedding, we would highly recommend it! John & Lisa

I've used event planners several times before for balloons. Most recently last Saturday for my sons 4th birthday. Large blue 4 helium balloon and several clusters of multi coloured latex helium. Staff understood straight away what I wanted. Arrived at venue on time , very efficient, very friendly, nothing too much trouble. Excellent service, definitely recommend 👌👍🏼

A big thank you to Paul and Danielle. My daughter had her baby shower earlier this year and in typical form, she does not follow tradition. In this I mean that she is having a baby boy but she has not decorated the nursery in blue and nor did she want much of anything in blue moving forward. This set us a challenge for the baby shower. Her color theme is sage green, mustard yellow and burnt orange. Her best friend and I visited the shop a few weeks ago and Danielle was very helpful and came up with the nearest options they had available during these difficult times of stock shortages they are experiencing, they were almost spot on. We also came away with some cute green baby shower napkins for the cupcakes. We were offered a cup of tea by Paul whilst we had the discussion and were shown various examples and options. On collection last Friday, Paul was very helpful in getting them into the car and sending me on my way with advice on how to store them to ensure they would be at their best for the Sunday. Almost a week later the balloons were still going strong and displayed in the nursery showcasing her color theme beautifully. Thank you Paul, Tara loved them Karen Palmer

I always go to this shop for my kids birthday balloons! Their balloons last for ages! (literally, I end up having to pop them after a month as they're still bobbing around my house!). They have a great variety of not only balloons but cards, decorations, fancy dress, party bag gifts, bouncy castle hire... the list is endless! If they haven't got something you'll be guaranteed they'll know where to get it! I'm lucky to have this shop in the same village I live in, but even if they weren't I'd happily travel! Parking is really easy and staff really friendly! Highly recommend!
