I contacted Chenai after my wedding had been postponed due to covid. I had lost all enthusiasm in wedding planning and needed support and advice mainly for styling! Chenai was so supportive and created a design board after listening to my ideas and making some beautiful suggestions. I fell in love with planning the wedding again, and felt confident that everything was going to look beautiful without the worry that things may not work the way I had imagined. The team were on top of everything the whole way through the planning process which meant that we were completely stress-free. Even down to having some Ghanaian flare at our otherwise traditional, English wedding. We had the pleasure of having Chenai, Tariq and Aaron with us on our wedding day meaning that everything went off without a hitch and we knew that everything was taken care of, enabling us to relax and enjoy the day.

She stepped in at a time where a former wedding planner that we had was creating a lot of stress and not meeting our requirements, and Chenai came in and completely stabilised and enhanced the process. Every little thing was thoughtfully curated, from the breathtaking venue to the personalized touches that made the day feel special to the couple. The setting was stunning, and Mackenzie perfectly balanced elegance with the natural beauty of Greece. I went for the first time in Zakynthos for a wedding in June organized and curated by The Isle Events in Cameo Island. It was so chic, minimal, authentic, intimate, I was so impressed by the level of details with this effortless vibe! Definitely the best wedding I have attended!

Camilla is such a lovely human being and is a star wedding planner! I am SO glad that we decided to get her help with planning the rest of our wedding and coordinating on the day. She had amazing suggestions for additional elements and had great supplier contacts. I'm so glad she arranged for us to have an extra walkthrough at the venue to help visualise everything we would want on the day. She also suggested that my husband walk down the aisle with his mum which was such a beautiful addition to our ceremony. In the weeks leading up to the big day, she had everything completely under control and I felt like I could just focus on the task of getting married and basking in the glow of the day. She is super responsive over WhatsApp, ready to answer any question I threw her way. My only regret is that we didn’t bring Camilla on earlier in the planning process to get her steer on more things!

Camilla was awesome! Could not have done it without her! I live overseas and she organised it all, visited venues, found suppliers and kept the check list and payment schedule on track. We literally could not have done it without her. Not only was my eyes and ears, Camilla is a complete pleasure to work with. A lovely, charming woman who eas my right hand for year. I don’t think we can put into words how much Camilla has done for us! She gave us the best wedding ever - we are over the moon. She thought of absolutely everything, her for detail is outstanding, she has incredible taste and vision. Our wedding was perfect, she made it hassle free and knew exactly when to bother us with details and when to take charge. Of particular note is the presentation for cutting the cake, she transformed the area into a dream-like sequence with floating candles, an arch and a neon sign with our new surname. She had a vision and executed it brilliantly - this was all her and was the most beautiful thing to behold! Additionally, Camilla and her assistants are so lovely - we think of Camilla as a lifelong friend after only knowing her through the last 9 months as our planner extraordinaire. Camilla’s greatest strength is that she cares so much and you can really feel it. She made the whole experience (which was very daunting for two people who are not remotely organised) amazing! Her military precision planning meant everything came off seamlessly. We are delighted and the photos show her excellence! We cannot recommend her enough!

We hired Camilla to be an ‘on the day co-ordinator’ for our wedding - I needed a right hand woman who I could trust to hand over the reigns and make sure all my planning and preparation came to life the way I imagined. Camilla was there for me throughout the whole wedding process to bounce ideas off, but most importantly, she gave me the confidence to relax on my wedding day (I’m a control freak!) - she was a pleasure to be around, kept everything running smoothly, and made sure any hiccups were dealt with. There will never be enough words to describe how truly thankful we are for Alice and the team and all that they did for us when planning our wedding. Alice always went above and beyond, catching flights with me to scout out wedding venues in Mallorca, Lake Como and Rome to constantly being on hand for any query or question I had, forever acting as the calming force to put my mind at ease and assure me that everything would be ok. And wow, it was certainly more than ok! I have never experienced anything like it in my life! There’s something truly magical when your vision and your wedding planners style align and mine and Alice’s certainly did that. She created the most perfect wedding day that I will never be able to thank her enough for. It’s been a huge journey to get to the wedding day and planning a destination wedding is no small feat, negotiating with suppliers and the venue in Italy as well as organising UK based suppliers to fly over to Rome, it’s been a lot of work and a lot of back and forth to ensure the perfect day, but from start to finish everything flowed so effortlessly and what Alice and the team created was something out of a fairytale and absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. Not to mention Alice and the team pulled the wedding together in 8 short months which is a credit to her organisational skills in itself. Every detail was considered and perfectly executed and her energy throughout the entire wedding planning process was faultless. Sometimes in life you just click with people and right from our very first meeting I knew we would hit it off, countless texts, a lot of video calls and a lot of delays in airports and it’s safe to say now that the wedding is over, I have a very big Alice shaped hole in my life. I am one of those girls that loves weddings and had been thinking about and talking about my own wedding since I was little. I was so excited to be a bride, and I am SO SO SO happy I hired Alice. Planning our wedding was actually so much fun. It was a time in my life I wanted to enjoy and remember forever, and Alice made that possible and everything perfect. Alice and her team, including my favorite Dream Girl Yana were so incredibly incredibly hard working. I live in California, our wedding was at The Plaza Hotel in New York City, and Alice Wilkes Design is based in London, and I swear we were always gossiping. I really was so impressed by how available the team was and how seamless planning an event across the ocean felt. I know there were a lot of things going on behind the scenes, and as the bride, because of Alice and Yana I never really felt the stress. Their personalities were incredibly calm, professional and playful. I had a sense the whole time that they really had everything under control and in line. I am a very creative person and wanted our wedding weekend to really have a moody vibe, and I was so drawn to Alice’s creativity and attention to detail! I feel like her weddings are always dreamy and give you something unexpected. Our wedding had swans everywhere! Swans at the Plaza. Alice and her team also planned a backyard garden pool party in Greenwich Connecticut that all the Garden Club ladies said felt like a Slim Aarons Photograph. Looking back on my wedding weekend now. It was beyond my wildest dreams. I knew it was going to be fabulous, but it was so much more. The execution was perfect and flawless, it was filled with love and warmth and perfect lighting.
