Amazing vets, highly recommend.. Only been using this vets for 3 years after I rescued my dog from her horrible previous owners.. They have been amazing with her.. She makes herself well known at the vets as she's reactive around other dogs (she's had a really horrible life before coming to me so understand why she's the way she is).. Always felt listened to by the vet, always seen the same guy who is ace with her even though she's a little cowbag with him, poor guy he tries his best with her.. The receptionists always end up putting us in our own room to stop my dog barking n lower her distress which I think is really good.. Consultations never felt rushed, always explained in detail then worked out the cost for me after I've agreed to whatever treatment they suggest.. As you can see by the photo attached my frenchie Blossom is looking very happy at the reputation she's gained at the vets after our last visit on 7th June 2023, being shunned into our own room again cause she thought she was harder then 2 dogs double the size of her 🤦‍♀️🙄 #SmallDogSyndrome

The staff at this surgery treat your pet as though it was their own. I have received the most wonderful care for my 5 dogs and 1 cat over the last 8 years and yes I have used 2 other vets previously in Halifax. The receptionists are very helpful and especially good when you are struggling with a poorly animal. I had to have one of my Great danes put to sleep recently after a 3 year battle with epilepsy and wobblers, the staff are amazing and the treatment standards for your pets is outstanding.An update this surgery is the best I have moved 8 miles away and still travel to this surgery all of the staff are outstanding.

I just want to say a big massive thank you to West Mount vets in Mytholmroyd. I had to take my baby girl, Hettie, there as she hadn't been well for a few days. I had to make the biggest decision in my life, to put her to sleep. Ed, the vet, was so kind and reassuring in helping me to make this decision. He had a way about him that made you feel he had your pets interest at heart. He didn't push me in any way and gave me time with my baby girl, nothing was rushed at all. The nurse was fantastic too, both telling me the steps that were to be done and both had empathy. I cannot fault this surgery at all, even the receptionist was very kind. Once again, thank you for your help with Hettie. She was very well looked after.

All four of my dogs go here and always leave happy. They even pull now to go into the vets. Don't have any anxiety issues at all. My husband and i are treated with a smile as soon as you walk through the door and the dogs get lots of attention ☺️ Dogs are very happy, we're very happy would definitely recommend this vets to anyone.

My very sick hen was examined thoroughly, with care and dignity , by Vicky.It was decided that the best thing to do was to put Hemlock to sleep. I was able to hold her whilst the drugs were given and this was done very respectfully, keeping my hen wrapped tomake her feel secure. I cannot express how kind and understanding this practice was, and the vet we saw, and will definitely be bringing my hens here, if the situation ever arises again.

Not many cats enjoy a visit to the Vet' and mine is no exception. However careful and compassionate attention resulted in a stress free visit for annual booster injections. Even the bill was stress free.

Since moving vets this is the first time I have had to bring one of dogs. He is usually a very nervous dog but right away, we were met by friendly staff who put ourselves and Archie at ease. This was continued when we met the vet who made archie feel comfortable, didn't try to push products on us, explained possible treatments and costs, and was knowledgeable and friendly throughout. We ledt feeling like even the vet had Archies best interests in mind opposed to trying to rack up the highest bill. Best vets visit since he was a pup, now he's 8! Would definitely recommend.

Receptionists are so lovely and friendly, Jennifer is a really lovely vet, always listens to the owner and takes her time to help you. Her experience and professionalism shines through. In my years I have seen many vets owning Dogs and horses. It's lovely to have a vet that's friendly, has an amazing way with the dog and is very experianced. All the vets are lovely and caring I have seen at Yorkshire vets but Jennifer is the one I will see if I can win my two dogs. Good experience throughout

Had my dogs registered here for over 2 years now, and i have to say i not disappointed at all so far. Both my American xl bullies and my french bulldog are in the pet health club, so all the fleaing and wormimg medication is included. Recently, I had my xl bullies neutered and spayed. The procedures were done with precision and minimal scarring, and they both received 25% off the total amounts due to the pet health club. The majority of staff are lovely and took a shine to my babies straight away. They received 5* service hands down,i only wish it was closer to me, lol.

100% recommended this vets, wouldn't take my cat Archie anywhere else. Jen (vet) who my cat (Archie) sees and loves, is amazing with him I 100% trust her advice/care. Excellent Vets. I have been visiting this practice with my 2 dogs for 15 years and would highly recommend them. Unfortunately my eldest dog passed a few weeks ago but the care we had from the reception staff, nurses and vets has been amazing. I found somewhere that doesn’t just treat your poorly companion but sympathises, listens and truly cares and for that I will be forever grateful. In memory of my beautiful boy Marley ❤️

After waking up to find my 23 year old African Grey very weak and in respiratory distress I rang round trying to find an emergency avian vet appointment. After being advised he needed to go into hospital we made the trip to Holly House. Everybody was amazing, explaining everything, keeping us informed about his progress and the cost at all times. I was happy he was in good hands. He made a rapid recovery and I would like to thank everyone for taking care of him.

My dog Wally was very poorly and we almost lost him with a pneumonia and stomach issue. These are the best vets I've ever been to. Communication was clear/objective, and the caring is in the little things they did, like a nurse running to Tesco to get tuna to get him to eat at least something. Shout out to Francisco, Jenny, Katrina, Cathy, Tom, Dan and the ones I didn't get the name of. Everyone was outstanding.

We had to take our cat, Nectar, to Holly House out of hours, and the care we received was exceptional. The team was professional, compassionate, and incredibly thorough, which made such a stressful situation a little easier to handle. They explained everything clearly and treated Nectar with such kindness and respect. It’s reassuring to know that such great care is available when you need it most. We brought our new puppy along here to get his first immunisations along with micro-chipping. Us not being registered here though it was pretty quick & straight forward getting an appointment within a quick reasonable time frame (waiting 7days to be exact). Raj was the vet in charge that day & gave us a really warm very. Mylo was made to feel super relaxed & did not feel a thing. Would definitely recommend to any family or friends. Brought my cat here for surgery, we are registered with a different branch but managed to get an app with any. This branch had the earliest. Was quiet and very clean. There is no carpark but plenty of main road parking. Receptionist was very welcoming and the main vet was really lovely too. Gave great aftercare advice and booked me a follow up app at the branch I'm registered too for ease. Great service!

Where do I start amazing the lovely vet that we had seen with Daisy was fabulous and made us feel at ease and made Daisy feel very relaxed as she is an old nervous girl but she has now started eating and drink after a very stressful 8 days I called the out of hour vets last night and spoke to the vet that looked after Daisy and I just thanked her for her help and Daisy is now on the mend ❤️‍🩹 so so grateful for your time and knowledge and support and understanding Thank you !!! From the moment I walked through the door with my cat I was so impressed by receptionists efficiency, the vet that triaged my cat and the vet that subsequently helped me. On leaving the receptionist went through everything in detail. I cannot thank them enough.
