Stunning food provided by amazing friendly staff! Best fry up Ive had in ages normally I go to the carvery but will defo be coming here instead from now on well worth the drive up from my neck of the woods! Jane is an incredible kind woman who welcomes everyone with a warm smile and greeting! It feels like youve popped around to your aunts for a brew chat and nibbles your made that welcome and comfy!

Came and met the wife and stayed for lunch and a coffee, nothing too much trouble, Jane and Camelle were very attentive. Had a special salmon and cream cheese bagel, good price for the dish, and coffee. The cafe has mix of vintage china which is homely, nice place to unwind also support local peoples crafts, can get busy, how ever you can get a take away. Nice freshly made food.. Great place.

We needed to kill some time after dropping our dogs off at the groomers. Thyme for Tea was recommended to me by my sister in law. As it was early we called in for breakfast. The cafe was clean and very well presented with plenty of tables and space. The staff attended to us straight away. My wife had a latte and I went for a pot of tea which arrived in a big pot with a china cup and saucer! We ordered the English breakfast, mine was a large and my wife’s was a small. It wasn’t long before our food was brought to us. There was plenty of it and it was hot. All the food was tasty so I would guess that bacon, sausage and eggs were local produce. We were both very happy and plates were both emptied! The service was great. It is a popular place as quite a few people had called in while we were eating. The cafe also sold produce such as honey, jams, homemade cakes and much more. Would we visit again ? Oh yes most definitely.

Haven’t revisited this cosy gem for a while and I can’t recommend this lovely place enough ;) Foods are scrumptious and generously portioned as always, but more importantly it’s the irreplaceable human warmth of genuine care that makes dining at this cafe such an amazing experience. Versatile range of hot and cold foods with gluten-free and meat-free options available as well!

This is a fantastic little café. The team are all lovely and the service is fab. Lots of tasty food options which have generous portions. Tea is served with China cups and lovely teapots with cute tea cosies. There are great veggie options and the prices are really good. Highly recommend this lovely café.
