āWe were really looking forward to visiting this restaurant, especially since it has a high rating of 4.8 on Google. The starters were a pleasant surpriseāvery good and creative. However, the main courses were a bit of a letdown. The cabbage tasted good, but the core was bitter. Unfortunately, the steak was dry and overcooked, even after we sent it back (we had ordered it medium rare). Overall, we wanted to give this place a higher rating because it seemed like a hidden gem, especially for the price. Weāll need to come back another time to see if it was just an off night.ā

āVisited last night and the food has its ups and downs. The pani puri shots were amazing and a real treat but that's where the amazement stopped. For starters The lollipop chicken was nice but some of the skin was still slimy so had to eat around it. The chilli prawns were well and truly overcooked into a mush with batter. The mancunian chicken was ok. For main the food was average and required salt which I asked for and they obliged. We had the aubergine curry which was nice but for kids the chicken passanda was nice looking but very sweet. The breyani looked fantastic but again needed salt however I'll defend the lamb breyani because I brought more than half of it home and today it tasted amazing (with a pince of salt). The drinks are over priced for the size on offer. The service was good. Would I go again? Yes but I'm taking salt along with me and ordering tonnes of pani puriā

āWeāve been to the Ziya Grill for lunch many times and have always been impressed with the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff - today was no exception! We usually have an afternoon tea and add a couple of other dishes, and always thoroughly enjoy it. Today we had a couple of starter platters to share, and added a portion of pistachio chicken tikka. The platters were seafood, with fish Manchuria replacing the king prawns on the menu, as we donāt like prawns, and the vegetarian platter. All the food was superb, with my personal favourite the tandoori broccoli. The only slight downside was the lack of customers, but I guess thatās not surprising at lunchtime on the first Friday in January. Excellent service, as always!ā

āI would like to thank Mr Saleem and the entire staff for their impeccable service. We went in as a family of 10 as a last min birthday treat. The entire atmosphere and the ' nothing is too much' attitude the staff had really will have us returning and highly recommending this place. To top it all off the food was amazing!! The mix grill platter is a must! The lamb karahi was perfect, the naans were fresh and soft and the kids even loved their burgers! Something for everyone. Highly recommend.ā

āFood is just wow. Had the ribs as a starter. Very soft and tasty. A sharing 550g Ribeye for the main was the best I've ever had with mash and chips to go with it. To top it off, a sticky toffee pudding for desert. Blew me away. Best desert I've ever had too. Service was exceptional. Didn't catch the name of the young lad with short brown hair but his service was top notch. Will definitely be backā
