Wow ! Been trying to go here for a while but when I try to book in on a Sunday it's always full. I remembered to book earlier in the week this time. I now know why it's always busy, the food is amazing and the service is brilliant. We both had the lamb and a side of cauliflower cheese between us which was plenty. Every element of the roast was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. We are so happy we've found somewhere in Urmston (being new to the area) we can visit every two weeks. 2 courses for £20 a bargain well worth it tbh we were full with just the roast dinner. I can't recommend this place enough for a top roast, we will be back to try the week menu very soon as well as being regular Sunday diner's.

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Proost, a local restaurant in Urmston, and what an experience it was! From the moment we walked in, the homely, dining room ambiance of Proost set the stage for what was to be a delightful meal. The staff were welcoming and attentive, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. But the real star of the show was the food, masterfully prepared by the talented Perrin. Every dish was a testament to his culinary skills, with the quality, preparation, and finishing touches being absolutely top-notch. It's not every day you find such attention to detail and flavors that truly dance on your palate. I was so impressed that I returned to Proost with my children and mum for a Sunday dinner. Let me tell you, it was nothing short of amazing. The Sunday dinner here has to be one of the best in the North West, hands down. The food was comforting yet sophisticated, a perfect blend for a family meal. In a world where chain restaurants can often overshadow local gems, Proost stands out for its quality, atmosphere, and genuinely passionate staff. Supporting local businesses like Proost is not just about sustaining the local economy; it's about cherishing those unique experiences they offer, which you just can't get anywhere else. So, if you're in Urmston or nearby, do yourself a favor and visit Proost. Whether it's a romantic meal, a family dinner, or just a casual outing, this place is sure to impress. I'd really recommend this restaurant! The steak was absolutely fantastic and there were plenty of gluten free options. The service was brilliant and quick. It should be said that it is quite small (not a bad thing) so I'd consider booking if going on a Friday or Saturday night.

Heard great things… it was good! First time here, the menu I saw on Google was different to the current menu so do check ahead if you’re wanting to know. All good, very nice and tasty, the cauliflower schnitzel was too oily and a little over facing before you pour the garlic butter on top. Service friendly and didn’t have to wait too long for anything. Will return.

Lovely local cafe, we originally only went for drinks but got tempted by the food too. The breakfast wrap and the noodle soup went down a treat. Serena was also very welcoming and friendly. I also had never tried the strawberry milk bubble tea before and it was great!

Serena's offers quality fresh food to eat in or takeaway, friendly staff and excellent bubble tea! I had the Vietnamese style sandwich which was delicious and had plenty of filling. There was also a great variety of fresh bakes. Great value for money, would recommend this cafe to anyone!

If you’re looking for a cozy spot with mouth-watering food, this is the place to be! The English breakfast is absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, savory sausages, and the best hash browns I’ve had in ages. Not to mention the warm, freshly baked toast! I also tried their burger, and it did not disappoint. Juicy, flavorful, and served with crispy fries, it’s a must-try if you’re in the mood for something hearty. The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place for a satisfying start to your day!

Lovely little café. Popped in for a breakfast which was great value for a very good quality. Service was very friendly and attentive but not overbearing. And it’s dog friendly too. We’ll be back for lunch soon!

What an experience! I don’t know where to start honestly everything was exceptional from the beginning to the end. The warm welcoming and extraordinary hospitality and kindness we received from the polite gentleman, Medo, this was really remarkable and made the experience even more special, he delivered the best service that makes you wanna go there again. The food was simply delicious! Everything was very well made and tasted great, thanks to the great chef she did well! Not a single flaw to mention. I would definitely go there again and again and would always recommend it as one of the few excellent authentic Syrian cuisines.

We were a family of 6 adults and dined here on a Saturday evening. Overall we enjoyed our visit. We shared a mixture of starters and mains and every dish was very tasty and well presented. Only small negative was that although they were not full the initial service to order and get drinks was slow but they did apologise. The prices are reasonable and the restaurant decor and cleanliness is good so we'd definitely return.

Had a fantastic first meal here. The food was excellent: we had the sea bass and the chicken, followed by the awesome amaretto affogato. The service was second to none, and the decor and ambience were welcoming and relaxing. Will definitely be back!

I was treated to brunch by my friend here and it didn't disappoint, a lovely little restaurant that has a relaxed vibe, tastefully decorated with friendly staff. The food was delicious. They have a couple of bistro tables outside so we finished our drinks outside while the sun was out. We both had a really nice experience and will be back.

Fantastic from start to finish, Peroni on tap, cracking food and excellent service. You need to order the ribs and garlic bread to start. And if you're a steak lover the fillet is exceptional 👌🏻

Was worried as was full house. Some tables had alot of guests in one party so was worried about food arriving. Starters arrived and was delish everyone enjoyed. The main arrived fresh and hot. Had carbonara and is the best I’ve have had. Son wants to go back!!

Excellent, family-run Italian restaurant that has been open in Urmston for decades. The restaurant is spacious with a quirky décor and delicious food. We were there on a very busy night (Christmas Eve), but we were served by friendly and efficient staff. To start, we had garlic bread and cheese, followed by salmon in a cream and tomato sauce and chicken in a Diane sauce. Both were excellent: the salmon was cooked perfectly, with a light and tasty sauce, and the chicken was moist and flavoursome. I have been coming here for years, and it is always a great experience.

Tried lots of curry restaurants we give them a score out of ten a few have been on top but this place has been the best I've never booked candy the owner and his staff are fantastic along with the food only problem is street parking only 5 spaces outside restaurant Never had a problem whatsoever

Coming from the other side of the world where I’ve not found Indian food as good as this, it was a pleasure to visit the Adrak…service is flawless with a smashing atmosphere…highly recommended

First time eating in Urmston and someone recommended this place as it’s family friendly and we have twins. We LOVED it so much!! Can’t wait to go back and the food was fabulous. The desserts were huge 😍 the only issue was with the entrance, we had to carry the double stroller up a few stairs as there was no ramp but the waiter was helpful enough with this.

Came here tonight with the family to celebrate our nephews 16th birthday. The restaurant was able to accommodate 12 people. The service was excellent. The staff were courteous and accommodating. Food was served all together and it was served at the right temperature. The only small thing was that we waited a while after the starters for the main but the staff explained and apologised. Despite this everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal and wine. It was my first time there and I will definitely be going again!

Had an amazing time here last night with my girlfriend, came on a whim and was very pleasantly surprised. I had a Maturo Burger which was absolutely to die for and my girlfriend had a Sirloin that was cooked to perfection. We were looked after by Miurk (sorry if I spelled it wrong) who made sure we had everything we needed and was very pleasant to speak to. Will definitely be coming again next time I am in Manchester :)

My Mum and I decided last minute to eat at Maturo this evening! So happy we did! Throughly enjoyed! Had the feta & king prawns for starters, both had fillet steak, potatoes, asparagus and onion rings for mains - Both with glasses of Merlot and Chardonnay (no deserts) all was delicious and cooked to perfection! Special mention to Courtney, who was lovely, friendly and made us feel super at easy!

Absolutely amazing food, never disappoints, our favourite place to come. Very reasonable prices and service is fantastic, very attentive and explained all the different cuts of meats. Can't wait to return.

3 friends and I had a bottomless brunch at Maturo on Friday afternoon.. It was absolutely fantastic. Great value for money. Food was great and the staff could not be faulted. I’ve only marked the atmosphere low as we were amongst only a few folk in there but I imagine if it was busy it would be great. A big plus is that there was NO loud music as one of my friends is hard of hearing. Would thoroughly recommend it.

Came midweek for the early bird menu and it was absolutely beautiful. Came with a friend and her 2kids and the waiting staff were really nice and attentive towards them both, the service was brilliant the food was sublime and the price was solid. Staying in Manchester for the night and we decided to find somewhere near but didn't fancy the centre. Gorgeous decor, really lovely staff and the food was amazing. I had a fillet that was cooked perfectly and my partner really enjoyed his carbonara. Unfortunately it was let slip that it was my birthday and they sang the song and gave me a complimentary scoop of vanilla with a candle but it was a lovely touch to the end of the meal.
