“If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We went there for the spectacular and it was everything the name suggests and more, it was absolutely spectacular! The seafood was cooked to perfection and the taste was absolutely amazing. My son had the cabonara and said it was the best food he has tasted ever! We then finished our meal off with their raspberry cheesecake which was creamy and so fresh. We will definitely be back even if it’s a 3 hour drive from home, would drive all that way for that meal all over again. Great value for money and the atmosphere was lovely, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much Olive Tree we will see you again.”

“The location is absolutely stunning, with Golden Cap behind and a view down to the Isle of Portland. This place really is a treat, service is excellent but, it can get very, very busy and you may have to wait for seating. It is on the pricey side too, so as I said, it's a treat. Ask for extra salt on the Padron peppers and you won't be disappointed. Beers were in good condition. A great place to while away a warm summer's evening.”

“Came tonight for my step dad’s birthday meal. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, food was so good, unpretentious, great quality, more than your usual pub food. I had the chorizo and pie from the specials menu, absolutely lovely. All six of us cleared our plates. The serving staff and Dan the manager were so nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend, thoroughly enjoyable.”

“Really nice pub with log fires. Very welcoming and dog friendly as well. Food was very nice and reasonably priced. If being really critical to them, then they could do with being a little bit more flexible around the menu...ie.. can't have the lamb with chips, can't have a sweetcorn as a kids side meal... As they only have enough for the steak meals that it comes with.. As i say, it's being super critical, not a deal breaker and didn't spoil a lovely meal.”

“Beautiful meal this evening. Scallops in Japanese Wasabi mayo, Sea bass and sticky toffee pudding and raspberry brûlée. Couple of pints of proper job and Prosecco. Staff really friendly. Best apart about this restaurant is they do a decent kids menu alongside a banging adults offering. Well worth a visit and great portions too.”

“Went in on a whim to get some lunch as it looked nice. The food was very tasty and the portion size was really good. The price was cheaper then expecting considering it is in the heart of Lyme Regis. The waitress was lovely and had was very kind and friendly personality. I had a roast which was beautifully cooked and my partner had the fish and chips, fish was massive, cooked brilliant as well, the chips perfect crunch and fluffy potatoes. All round great experience. We will come back when we visit Lyme again.”
