Lovely pub, staff are friendly & helpful. Dog friendly. Garden is a favourite with the covered seating area and outdoor heating with large TV for all types of sports, as well as kids playground area. Would highly recommend for all ages.
We visited on a weekday afternoon for a drink and a main meal. We were greeted and served promptly and took our drinks to the outside seating. This is a paved area with a kids' play area adjacent. For our food we moved indoors and used the Greene King app to order. Again, there was only a short wait and our food (scampi and lasagne) was served and was hot and tasty. Sport was on the TVs dotted around the pub and it was easy to watch for anyone interested but not intrusive.
Matt and his team are fantastic !! I frequent his pub with my family often!! Nothing too much trouble!!! My wine is still reasonable too!!! Great atmosphere sat out in the sun or cosy inside in the winter 😀 highly recommended 👌
Lovely family friendly pub, great value for money. And wonderful members of staff. Go above and beyond for their customers. My go to pub for a family meal or simple get together with friends. Highly recommended.
Love this pub. The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. The food is good quality pub grub served with a smile We have dropped in a couple of times when out on our bikes. If we lived locally we’d be regulars. The only pub I know that serves Thatchers Spiced Apple cider, worth the 40 mile cycle ride to sample it 👍😀
