“I loved everything about Nonna Amalia’s! The service was so great and the owner was so personable and kind. We got our food very quickly and it was delicious too! It was so fresh. The vibe was great and I loved every song that played! I would recommend. (Nduja pizza was what I got by the way)”

The Dog House
Lydfords Ln, Gillingham SP8 4NJ, UK
Phone: 01722 703067
“Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Dog House. Visited here a few days before Christmas with our next door neighbours for something to eat and a few drinks. Loved the decor and ambience of the establishment. Its an olde world feel to the place but with modern twist. Staff very welcoming and friendly whilst being unobtrusive. The food was so good and was served promptly too. Can't recommend this place enough and ŵe will definitely be back. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.”

“We stopped in while visiting from America. I would consider the White House to be an upscale pub. The ambience is great! Lots of stone and heavy wooden beams. There were lots of locals there when we were there which is always a good sign. The staff was wonderful! The food was truly excellent! Every starter and entree was done to perfection! If we lived in the area we would be here often!”

“Lovely old chapel and the decor was fantastic, ordered onion rings to start and despite the price of £5.90 they were frozen, albeit well cooked and crispy. The Hawaiian pizza was basic and uniform, I was expecting a more hand tossed rustic base but the ingredients were good quality. The chips again were basic frozen fries and quite costly at £5.90. I wasn’t introduced to the specials board which disappointed me too. I’m glad I went to try the place but wouldn’t return.”

“We found this little gem on our way home. Arrived at 7:30 ish and we phoned ahead to make sure food was still on the menu. We only had a few of the side orders but they were cooked to perfection and good portion sizes. The staff are friendly and happy to help, top notch customer service (It’s refreshing to get good customer service in the age we live in but The Crown Inn have is mastered). Great selection of Beers, Ales, Spirits, Wine. We will be back to try out more of the food and possibly the rooms in the near future as well. Will update when we have experiences more of this little gem.”

The Langton Arms
Tarrant Monkton, Blandford Forum DT11 8RX, UK

“We booked a last minute room last night as we were meant to stay at the Royal Oak but they messed up and sold our room to someone else. So we were panicking as we were 4hours away from home at 18:30pm. I found the Langton arms on booking.com and immediately booked it. We had a warm welcome and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay lovely. The food was amazing and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Thank you to everyone at the Langton arms for making what was stressed and sad night to a one that we will never forget. And we are truly hoping to be back in the future!”

“Popped into the Walnut Tree without a booking at lunchtime. We arrived at 12.00 and we were made very welcome by the staff and the new owners. The food was excellent, we both had the chicken BBQ melt with salad and chips. Quick service and the food was lovely and hot. We look forward to calling in on a Sunday to try out the carvery one day soon. All in all a super pub, great staff and a comfortable atmosphere. We are sure the new owners will make very good hosts.”
