“What a great find. Wanted a nice place to stop for lunch and struck lucky here. Pretty boring selection but what we had was really very good. The ploughman's lunch was beautifully presented and the Cheesecake was truly fabulous. A nice change to have sunny weather and sit out in their lovely beer garden. I would recommend here if you're in the area.”

“The best service we have experienced in a restaurant in ten years. Our host was happy to alter how my wife's fish was cooked to reduce the seasoning. Her Sea Bream and my seafood medley were prepared with excellent produce to a superb standard and well sized. Our lad was very happy with an excellent authentic pizza. Table service was quick, polite yet not at all overbearing. In summary, excellent seafood, very well prepared, attractively presented with understated yet world class service to match. We couldn't recommend more highly”

“Great little place in the countryside. Not quite a gastro pub, but more a traditional pub food with lots of winter warmers and plenty of food on your plate. The place can get very noisy with even half the tables full so much so it drowns out the background music.”

The Fox Inn
Corscombe, Dorchester DT2 0NS, UK
Phone: 01935 310790
“It was our first time dining at The Fox Inn. The grade II listed pub that greeted us was a fantastic start. The Oyster I sampled was excellent. The Sunday Roast was the best roast I have ever had. The potatoes were amazing as was the beef and pork. The team were very accommodating with our 4 year old daughter. Being from London meant the prices were on a par with pubs that offer average at best roast dinner’s. Would highly recommend. Only minor feedback would be to make the dishes holding the vegetables warmer other than that it was flawless.”
