Ok, it's great tasting food for sure, but can get a bit noisy when busy due to the wooden decorated design inside. But it gets busy because it's good. Always best to book. Cater for parties.

Fantastic Saturday lunch in Dorset. Excellent food ( Goats cheese soufflé and beef with horseradish mash ) good red wine and a divine panacotta with hand made turkish delight... bookings a must, very recommended.

This is the place to go for something different. The place is light and airy with plenty of space between the tables. The service is excellent. The menu gives you the opportunity to try something different. I really recommend this as a place to go and try.

Our party of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at the Elms. Atmosphere was good, food was excellent and the waitress service was excellent too. A very nice restaurant to wine and dine your party in.

I came across this restaurant by chance when in Sherborne. The food was absolutely delicious. I had a starter and main dish. The duck was superb - so tasty and delicious. The service was really good too. I will come back again with my husband next time. I haven't tasted such delicious food in a long time. 😊

Decent lunch. I would have preferred a bit less of the “brulee” and a bit more crab meat, maybe with a bit of a citrus twist. We saved our bread and butter that came out at the start as it does need that. The meat (chicken and duck) were good quality but maybe lacked a bit of seasoning. Fries were tasty.

What a lovely surprise 30th meal for my partners birthday. Gabriela is such an amazing host, couldn’t thank her enough for all her help with organising. The food was outstanding! I had the goats cheese mousse to start and it’s the best starter I’ve ever had! Have been before and will definitely return. Great value for money and lovely/friendly staff. 10/10

Amazing little restaurant with great atmosphere and the most amazing food!

Proper pub in a beautiful village. Good choice of ales, excellent pub grub, and a really friendly welcome from staff and locals. The gardens are being substantially improved, as has been the parking. Watch out for the regular music nights. This lovely traditional pub has recently been taken over but retains its village charm.

Lovely pub. Comfortable room with nice bathroom and powerful shower. Wonderful breakfast, freshly cooked to order. We didn't eat other meals here but will if we stay again. Will definitely book again if we visit this area in the future

What a charming pub! I was there last night with a group of friends for our regular get together. Crop Circle beer delicious, food superb and the staff were absolutely lovely. What a tremendous bunch and all in an idyllic spot/village. Highly recommend to one and all!

Visited the pub as a group of 8 friends, the staff were friendly, helpful and worked together well as a team. The pub is beautifully rustic, a nice old country pub with a lounge bar, bar area and restaurant. Nicely decorated with lovely flagstone floors and a raging fire in the lounge. They have a good selection of drinks and varied menu. For pub grub the food was next level, personally I had the beef shin ragu which was absolutely delicious. Overall, loved it, I just wish it was my local instead of being 3 hours away! Well done guys.

We visited the area for Easter holiday and were recommended to go to this pub. We had a great Sunday roast and also returned for an evening meal later in the week. Great for allergies, games available to play. Recommend booking table’s especially for Sunday roast.

I have been here a few times and am very happy with the service. Great young lad took our order for drinks and food. The landlord was in and out delivering meals to the more vulnerable in the community but he took time to chat with us. What a star 🌟 .

Four other girls and I went out for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were fantastic, and the service, especially from the gentleman working there, was exceptional. I highly recommend going, especially if you’re a vegetarian.

Lovely place to go for something to eat and drink. Lovely warm atmosphere, food quality really good. Ordered 2 burgers (1 x bacon cheeseburger + 1 x chicken burger) with sweet potato fries and 2 drinks (1 x Earl Grey and 1 x Cocktail). Beef burger well cooked and tasty, sweet potato fries were also hot and fresh and also very tasty. Chicken in the chicken burger was a little overdone on the outsides, but lovely and juicy as you got into the middle, good crunch on the crust also. Drinks well made. However, my teacup was dirty, which was a little disappointing. Will definitely be coming back for more however, 5 stars all round!

This is one of the best places to visit in Yeovil for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The service is always amazing and staff are super friendly. The food is absolutely delicious and never takes very long to arrive. There’s plenty of seating and just an all round lovely place to go for drinks or something to eat.

Absolutely wonderful!! Just the shot in the arm that Yeovil town centre needed!! Like every Lounge that we've visited, and that's quite a few now, they all have a similar overall theme but with subtle differences that reflect the town/area that they're in. And like the others the food we had was excellent, hot & well prepared so no qualms there. Staff were all nice & friendly, and an amazing choice of fare, especially for those with gluten intolerance/coeliac disease, it's the most extensive menu of this type I've ever seen, so top marks again for that. So, now Yeovil has a viable alternative to the the usual burger bars and 'chips with everything' places, and certainly not viciously expensive either, we will be back, that's an absolute certainty!!

We had an incredible experience at the Cross Keys. Mo and his team hosted my Father's funeral wake yesterday. The whole experience was incredible - made so special by Mo, Lucy, David and the girls. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt completely wrapped up in their arms from the moment we walked through the door to make the arrangements, right through to the day itself. I cannot thank the team enough for creating such a special celebration, which you planned so incredibly well. The delicious food platters were superb, and all the guests said what a beautiful venue it was. I was personally nurtured throughout the whole day, with Mo and Lucy checking in with me to make sure everything was perfect - and even David coming in on his day off to make sure my Dad's favourite music was being played. I can't thank them all enough from the bottom of my heart for all their kindness. We stayed in their family suite for the night. Our room was superb, with the biggest bed I've ever slept in, and beautiful views out onto the market square and the Conduit. I can thoroughly recommend a stay at the Cross Keys - the service is exceptional, the rooms amazing, and the breakfast was superb. We also had our evening meal in the restaurant, and it was exceptional. THANK YOU TO THE WHOLE TEAM AT THE CROSS KEYS - YOU ARE ALL AMAZING.

Had a Christmas meal here this afternoon. The best Christmas meal I've had. Turkey was super tasty. The vegetables were beautifully cooked. Tasty gravy. Super service , all the meals were piping hot. Thank you very much , will be recommending to all my friends.

Excellent evening at the cross keys whilst staying in Sherbourne for the weekend visiting the castle for the classic car show. Friendly welcome upon arrival, very nice decor & a lovely dining area. Service was efficient & friendly, nice range of drinks including a good wine list. Food was very good, squid starter was very well cooked, burger was excellent & the panacotta dessert was a delight. Would certainly recommend & will visit again if in the area.

Lovely Atmosphere, the Food was delicious at very reasonable prices and the Bar Staff and Landlady very pleasant. And exceptionally Dog Friendly. Well worth leaving our village and travelling a few miles.

Stopped off for a cold refreshing cider was lovley and very tastefully decorated to a high standard food looks amazing too would definitely recommend 👌

I often stop off here on a Friday after work, The staff are lovely, the beer is fab. I've yet to try the food but plan on coming back with family. Well worth giving it a go. Just a few mins off the A 37.

We had Sunday lunch here last month. This is a lovely pub, great lunch and most of all great service. Made our Sunday and fully recommended.

Now I would've given this place 5 stars however there was a man in the corner, drinking, miserable and shouting at the staff. I watched and listened to him shout and abuse the waiters which were lovely and later I found out it was the owner. Really rude and ruined the experience for me and he should not be doing that Infront of the customers or ever for that fact. Now to the food, it was lovely. Probably the best pizza I've had in ages and my work mate had the spaq bowl which he also said was lovely. The waiter and waitress were both lovely and professional and the service was excellent. I will definitely come back again as long as the boss is nowhere to be seen and then maybe I'll give it 5 stars.

Best Italian food I've ever had (in the UK). Everything was SO delicious. Staff were amazing and very friendly/funny. Lovely atmosphere too.

Visited for an early anniversary meal. The staff were friendly and helpful. At first thought meals were expensive but once they came out they were actually reasonable as they are big. Steak was cooked well but the ones I had were a bit fatty but other than that the meal was delicious. The other dish was huge and delicious. Would recommend giving this place a try and we will definitely be returning to try a different dish.

Lovely place the staff were very polite and helpful,the food was great alot of choices and the portions sizes are massive,we were there for a double birthday dinner and both received cow boy hats and a cake at the end of the meal,brilliant we will definitely be going back again 😀

Went here for a recent birthday. They made a fuss of my boyfriend. Hat, birthday sign and cake with sparkler. Food was lovely. Service great andcreally good decor and atmosphere.
