I found Fine Design through a recommendation from a friend and I'm so pleased I did. They kept me informed all the way through, I had chosen a sink but when it came I didnt like it, this was no problem, it went back and by the next day I had one I loved. The quality of the bathroom and the work is brilliant and the price was incredibly reasonable against other quotes. Ryan recently completed the most beautiful tv unit for us. His work was meticulous, matching our exact specifications and making sure that the colours and materials used perfectly blended with the rest of our kitchen/living area, and our electronics all fit neatly within the shelves. Ryan also created cupboards for our utility room, under the stairs, and even a last minute door frame! All were absolutely spot on. Ryan and his team are efficient and considerate in how they work, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I asked Ryan to install a shed, what he did was above and beyond the call of duty, he removed two tons of soil and a load of other trash. Installed a perfect shed on an imperfect base, negotiated wonderfully with a tenant and project managed a waste collection job. Honestly I should have paid him more. He’s brilliant.

Ryan was recommended to us, and he certainly lived up to that recommendation. There were 6 of us in the block and he completed all the new fire door installations very efficiently, with patience and friendliness. He gave us good advice re requirements and kept in touch during the whole process of ordering right through to installation. Thoroughly recommend Ryan.

I found Orchard Carpentry via Trust a Trader website. Ryan communicates extremely well and has over delivered on the quality of the projects I asked for. Ryan provides a thoughtful and detailed service, considering all issues and resolving. He produced custom made shelving for two rooms and his attention to detail is second to none. My wife and I are very happy indeed. The price was very fair too, not cheap but not expensive. We will be using Ryan for our kitchen refit, within the next few months, as well as any other carpentry requirements. I wholeheartedly recommend Orchard Carpentry.

Richard and his team were great when we called them up to repair some rotting timbers on our 400yr old cottage! They took everything on their stride and kept us informed every step. They were clean and tidy, and completed the job on time and budget. Richard also returned at short notice a few weeks later when we found another very rotten timber. All work was carried out to an exceptional standard and blends in with the original wall perfectly. Highly recommended, and worth waiting for.

Really good experience. It was great to find a well established company that was not only prepared to take on a small bespoke job, but did quality work and was also reasonably priced. They treated us, and the job, with respect and professionalism. The job itself was building a bespoke hallway cupboard which they did really nicely. It looks great and fits perfectly in the space.

Lazlo did a fantastic job fitting our new kitchen and we are very happy with the result. He was able to finish the job in a very short time, working even in the weekends. His skills and experience were incredibly valuable and we trusted his advice all along the way. Laszlo installed new engineered wood flooring, releveled floor in one room, changed skirting boards and installed new doors for us. He did a great job, especially with the bay window and considering all doors needed adjusting due to the age of the building. Laszlo is on time, polite and tidy! He takes great care and pride in his work and we will use him again in future!

We asked Laszlo to repair our windowsill, repaint front of the house and clean pvc. We’d never used him before but decided to after seeing the good reviews. He first came round to visit the house to discuss the plan. I liked his attitude and clarity. He then came back in a few weeks when he was next free. True to his word he took 2 days to complete the job. It was done to a very high quality standard, we’re really pleased with his work. It was also a reasonable price. Very personable and good communication. So satisfying when you find a carpenter / handyman who you can trust. Will definitely use Laszlos services in the future. 5 stars. Thanks!

I commissioned Thomas and his team to create a bepoke display wall as part of our house refurbishment a few years ago. I can recommend Acorn for attention to detail throughout the process. I suspect I asked for more input in the design than most but all requests were listened to and addressed. The end result was a stunning addition to the house which we enjoy and appreciate every day. Thomas and his team recently completed quite a lot of work in our house, including some very complex bespoke joinery e.g., a wine wall and whisky cabinet using a variety of materials. The quality of the work was very good, Thomas and his team are very thorough and have excellent attention to detail. They were also flexible and worked very well with our architect. They are nice people too and I would recommend them.

As part of our full house renovation, we hired Tom and his company, Acorn Bespoke Carpentry and Joinery, to craft several custom pieces: a stunning oak front door, oak double garage doors, fully integrated understairs cupboards, and a beautifully designed oak mantlepiece for our fireplace. Before meeting Tom, we had spoken with a couple of other joinery companies. Thomas recently came back to our house (after many other jobs completed for us) to build two desks for our daughter’s bedrooms. As usual service was great and workmanship excellent. Desks look amazing and just what we asked for . Highly recommend
