I had my clutch replaced with MOT City and I can’t say enough good things about them. Very polite and friendly on the phone when booking in. Kept in regular communication throughout the process. And took no time at all to get fixed. Would highly recommend

As a woman, taking my car to a garage can sometimes feel intimidating, but MOT City is completely different. All the team ( but specifically Sean) and Kerry who I met for the first time today, is warm, welcoming, and always takes the time to explain things clearly. They do a fantastic job at the best price, and I never feel pressured into unnecessary work. It’s so refreshing to find a garage I can truly trust. Because of this, I introduced my daughter, who would never go to any garage on her own because she didn’t feel comfortable, until she experienced MOT City - now we won’t go anywhere else!

I've always used "cheap" garages. MOT City is not a cheap garage, but that's not to say overcharge either. They are courteous, professional and clear about their service. The car gets done on time and they call you throughout if anything changes. They give you an itemised invoice where you can see the labour per hour cost, which is reasonable. Use them if you are short on time, want to get something done in a reliable manner and to avoid traipsing all over Reading for cheaper garages looking to save a quick buck.

Cant recommend this place enough! Havent had my car long but had to get towed to MOT City by the breakdown service. Everyone was really nice on arrival and very helpful. I was told due to the amount of cars in it might not be until next week, but i got a call less than 24 hours later telling me the issues and the cost. Chloe was amazing and could feel my pain but made me feel better about the work needed and cant thank her enough! Kerry at reception was lovely as well and really helpful throughout, hopefully they never see me again but if needed i will be heading back there!

I can't recommend this garage highly enough! I found myself in a bind with a faulty thermostat just before heading to work, and they came through for me. The staff (specifically Sean) was incredibly friendly and accommodating, fitting me in at the last minute later that day. They diagnosed the issue quickly and had it sorted in no time. The service was top-notch. Thanks to them, I made it to work on time without any stress. A fantastic local garage that truly cares about its customers! Thank you Sean and the team :)
