Pavé

Rating: 4.8 (272) Price Level:
What a little gem! They offer build your own cheese and charcuterie boards, and the quality across everything was really top notch. Don't miss the slightly smoked red Leicester. The Vocation beers and the extensive selection of wines by the glass are also notable

Amazing food and service. Really enjoyed the cheese board option, and the fondue. Fantastic family night out, thank you for your hospitality.
Rating: 5 / 5
On a family holiday in the Yorkshire Dales, we decided to go to Haworth for the day. For a late lunch we popped into Pavé. What a great decision! The menu was a bit confusing at first but the patient waitress explained it well. You can choose from the set menu or choose your own fillings and mark the menu with the pens provided. I went for baguette with Yorkshire Ham and Wensleydale Cheese. It came with a light salad and chutney. Absolutely delicious! 5 of us were well fed and watered for £30.20. Great value. Dog friendly. The meat and cheese counter looked well stocked. The staff were all friendly and polite.
Rating: 5 / 5
Ate here with my friend for the first time today by pure chance. What a wonderful little find! Both food and wine were absolutely excellent - my friend had a meat board and ratatouille whilst I had a vegetarian dish with butter beans, bread, oil and tapenade. All exquisite and well presented. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful and decor was divine. If I could make one tiny change I would say the music. We both had a laugh that KC and the Sunshine band wasn’t the best match with the rest of the Bistro feel 😂😂 but this made us smile, we will definitely be back. It’s too good a place not to return to.

Loved it, splashed out on the biggest sharing platter with meat & cheese. We enjoyed some lovely flavours and tastes. Went on to desserts too and then finished off with coffees! Accomplished pianist provided Christmas tunes in a very different genre. A very enjoyable evening.

Haworth Steam Brewing Co
98 Main St, Haworth, Keighley BD22 8DP, UK | Pub P: 01535 646059
Rating: 4.8 (170) Price Level:
My wife and I recently visited The Steam Brewing Co for a meal during a recent trip to Howarth. What a fantastic meal we had. I had the lamb kebab with spiced onions and my wife the garlic mushrooms to start. And for our mains, we both had the lamb shank. We didn't have a dessert as we were too full, so can't comment on those. But the ales I had, the cider my wife had, the service and atmosphere, made for a brilliant evening. If you want somewhere to eat in Howarth, you won't be disappointed with the Steam Brewing Co. But make sure to book,as they turned people away while we were in there.

Wow, what a lovely pub. The food looked amazing, so we had to order. The lamb shank was out of this world.

Enjoyed beer and food on 3 of our 4 nights staying in Haworth for KWVR beer festival. Fantastic everything; excellent beer and the food is simply delicious and superb value for money. Shirley and the team provide an excellent atmosphere and environment- really enjoyed everything. See you next year!!!

It was a wet & cold day but we had a warm welcome. The staff were lovely, and the food was delicious and warmed us up. Would definitely recommend a visit to the Haworth Steam Brewing Co.

Oxenhope Station - Keighley & Worth Valley Railway
Mill Ln, Oxenhope, Keighley BD22 9LB, UK | Tourist Attraction P: 01535 645214
Rating: 4.8 (2916) Price Level:
A lovely well restored station a great cafe with hot and cold food and drinks - very nice and friendly staff there to - a great shop selling all sorts of railway stuff - a fantastic place to start our adventures for the day - will definitely be back again soon
Rating: 5 / 5
What an incredible experience! A proper old steam train and lovely carriages. Had a fun time with friends riding the length of the line to Keighley and back to Oxenhope. Impressed with the dedicated staff and service. Would highly recommend.
Rating: 4 / 5
I have to be honest, i really expected more. It is nice to see old railway and train, but the view from the window was nothing close to the one that i expected. We were told that ride would last for one and a half hours, but we were back for less than one hour. At least i will not feel guilt for not trying this ride.
Rating: 5 / 5
Excellent place for a day trip both travelling on the railway and visiting the various exhibitions. Recommend starting at Ingrow West where there is ample parking and exhibition sheds, and getting a day rover ticket so you can travel up and down and visit the exhibitions. Travel down to Oxenhope, get off to visit the exhibits and use the cafe, return back going all the way to Keighley, and stay on to return back to Ingrow. If there are both diesel and steam running, you get to travel in both doing that.
Rating: 5 / 5
Visit here very often, it's an amazing heritage railway with plenty to see, offering countryside viewing while passing through several historical and beautiful places. Haworth for its famous streets and stunning views and Oakworth with its history of The Railway Children. I would always recommend going along the KWVR it is very reasonably priced and children and dogs are welcome. I would recommend buying tickets in advance however if you don't thats no worry as you never wait long to be able to get a ticket!

The Grouse Inn
Harehills Ln, Keighley BD22 0RX, UK | Restaurant P: 01535 643073
Rating: 4.6 (941) Price Level:
Fantastic pub grub overlooking the beautiful surrounding countryside. I'd recommend booking in advance as it was busy when we arrived (2pm Saturday). The waitress was friendly and accommodating, and took good care of our coeliac daughter's gluten free needs (chef even cooked up a mix of things at the waitress' request - see photo of gluten free chicken & cheese burger). Food was excellent and good value. We'll definitely be returning!
Rating: 5 / 5
A beautiful pub in beautiful surroundings. This place is a little gem and serves good home cooked food. The burger was really nice. The beef patty was juicy with plenty of flavour. Service was good and the staff were friendly and attentive. I love the views from the table. The small play area was great for our little boy to burn off energy before eating
Rating: 5 / 5
Lovely pub. Great playpark for kids, plus a beacon in the grounds, and goats! We only called for a drink, but will be back one day to have some food.

The Treehouse Bar and Kitchen
Oak St via Gas St car, park, Haworth, Keighley BD22 8NQ, UK | Restaurant P: 01535 646395
Rating: 4.5 (518) Price Level:
Lovely Sunday roast, great cocktails and has a lovely outdoor seating area for the summer months. Lots of events go on here too; so it's always worth to take a look to see what they've got on. Trendy vibe.
Rating: 4 / 5
I visited here with family as we had rented a holiday home nearby. It is a beautiful venue with a modern yet charming interior. It seemed very popular as there wasn't a spare table. Perhaps this had something to do with it being two days before New Years Day. However, it was still a Monday. There was a large selection of drinks to choose from with offers on some, including cask ale and cocktails. The food was great as we all enjoyed what we ordered.
Rating: 5 / 5
We only called in for a drink, so can't comment on food. Will be back another day to try that. The building/decoration looks lovely. Most tables were reserved when we arrived, so we sat at the bar, which was fine by us. Nice atmosphere too.
Rating: 5 / 5
Had an impromptu Sunday Roast here with some friends and their pooch and it was very good. We called in on the off chance and they were able to fit us in straight away. We sat downstairs in a nice lounge area with football on the TV. Can't fault it at all for the price. The service we received from the girls was very good although we asked if we could have a sausage or something for the dog and we were told no which was a little inflexible but hey, maybe they have their reasons. It wasn't a deal breaker. I see some reviewers have marked the place down for atmosphere or being a little noisy which I thought was unfair, it's just a lively type of place. It certainly shouldn't lose marks for that. Horses for courses and all that. You don't go to the Red Lion and expect there to be a pianist in the corner. If you want a quiet, romantic meal, you would go somewhere appropriate. We parked on Gas Street Car Park which is right next to the place and costs a maximum of 3 quid ( I think ) for the whole day so it was very convenient for our wander round Howarth. Just a short walk up the hill to the main Drag.

The Waggon & Horses Inn, Oxenhope
Dyke Nook, Hebden Bridge Rd, Oxenhope, Keighley BD22 9QE, UK | Inn P: 01535 445945
Rating: 4.5 (435) Price Level:
We came to the Waggon and Horses today and couldn’t fault it. It’s a lovely pub and we were made to feel very welcome by Laura and Francis. The food was delicious, very high quality burger, home made coleslaw, big onion rings and tasty chips, and mouth watering sticky toffee pudding. Very generous portions and MUCH better than your standard pub grub and very reasonably priced. All the food is locally sourced too. The pub is in a lovely location with beautiful views and it has a great beer garden. We will be back! Thank you 😊
Rating: 5 / 5
Very good value for a hearty, enjoyable meal and great beers too (pies and chips especially good). Nice ambience and setting, the hosts clearly work hard to please and make their customers feel welcome. We’ll be back to try more off the menu

Popped in here on the off-chance they could squeeze in a table for two....they did. The starters and Sunday Lunch roast were super. Everything homemade and great portion sizes. The range of real ales was impressive too. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the team and the waitresses were attentive and helping each other out...something other establishments may wish to take notice of. The landlord was convivial and happy to chat, making sure everyone was satisfied with the food and service. We shall definitely be back...must try out the Tuesday Pie Night. One thing though, next time we will definitely book as they will definitely get busier once word gets round how great this place is.

What a lovely staff team you have here. We were visiting the area, out walking, got very cold and in need of a warm drink. The Gueat House wasn't actually open, but the lovely lady invited us in for a delicious hot chocolate. Thank you so much for your kindness x

We stayed at Leeming Wells Hotel for 2 nights and had breakfast and evening meal in The Dog & Gun next door. The food was fabulous, I had rump steak which was done to my liking, with vegetables and chips which were so nice. My son had a mixed grill which he enjoyed with chips and onion rings. Breakfast was lovely, husband and son had full English which they enjoyed. Lovely warm atmosphere in pub and very welcoming. Lovely open fire in bar, very cosy. Prices are reasonable in line with anywhere else. Service was great, waitresses very attentive. It was my third time staying at Leeming Wells and will be back next year.

Upper Town Fish & Chips Oxenhope
2, 2 Upper Town, Uppertown, Oxenhope, Keighley BD22 9LN, UK | Takeout Restaurant P: 07549 913993
Rating: 4.7 (80) Price Level:
We just popped in for a bag of chips as an evening snack on a busy Friday in December but ended up tempted by the small fish and chips given the reasonable prices. Also there were options for Festive Bites like battered mince pies, battered pigs in blankets and battered brie served with cranberry sauce. We had to try the brie. Got it all home nice and hot, the brie was about the best we've ever tried including in restaurants and very nice fish. The light batter seems to be the secret. The chips were also excellent and we were pleased to be offered scraps as well. Great friendly service from the two girls, hope to be back again if we're in the area :)
