By far the best food served in Rochdale! Friendly bar staff, cosy proper pub! Great for family's, dogs and couples!
Just a little mix up with the orders, which was quickly amended with free dessert! Fantastic little pub! Definitely gonna be coming back. Nice pint of bitter too and only £3.
Very spacious, clean,comfortable room. Food was delicious and good portions. Staff welcoming and friendly.( We were there to attend a funeral and in the evening a few of the more 'vocal' mourners came to keep us company but the staff were unperturbed and service was unaffected and pleasant,so thanks for that guys!) Would recommend to anyone. Only slight criticism was that breakfast times were quite late -10 til 12 .and we had to have an early start so would have liked maybe an 8am serving.Hence 4stars.
Came across this great little pub while looking to visit locally. The staff and the locals were really friendly. A nice fire burning along with lovely food was a real bonus. Dog and horse friendly (no horses in the pub). Thoroughly recommend a visit.
How nice to see an old original pub tucked away in a quaint , picturesque location,clean lovely staff, good service ,food spot on ,prices reasonable, variety of choice on the menu.
