Wow what a vets! From the friendly reception staff to the incredible vets I'm so glad I transferred my pets over. Rebecca was a lovely friendly vet she booked my dog in for sedation and minor surgery. James then treated my dog under sedation the next day and I have never ever had such a top quality service from a vet like that who explained everything and was so patient with me. Thank you so much! The staff at Briar Dawn are truly amazing. The receptionists are beyond lovely; they always make you feel welcome and make a fuss of your loved ones. I visited regularly with my dog Star, and I truly believe the staff who knew her cared for her just as much as I did; they were always so amazing with her. Our vet, who saw Star regularly, would always ask how my rabbits were getting along, which shows what a caring and special person she truly is ❤️When the time came to say goodbye to Star, she gave us plenty of time to say goodbye, and I feel so fortunate that we were able to have a positive experience during such a difficult time. Thank you for the amazing work you all do at Briar Dawn.

My cat who is nervous unfortunately had to have some dental procedures done, we received detailed information, explanation and quotation for the procedures and the team were brilliant with her. She came home with her meds and with a bravery certificate and stickers 😆. The reception team are brilliant even when it's particularly busy and they're under pressure. We also received a reassurance call on the day as to how cat was doing and what time to collect her. The discharge appointment was thorough and we were given full aftercare instructions. Thanks for all your help.

What an amazing customer service! Over the phone they were extremely helpful about a very complex issue, export health certificate for international travel. Met Agi when she was stationed in beech house in Warrington and this was the luckiest day for me and my dogos, Agnieszka is passionate about her job and always honest. He gave us consultations outside of working hours when we really need it and she could charge us for this 3x of the price but she hasn't. I hope she never leaves Manchester 😂😂😂

Simply the best vet I've come across in twenty years. True pet lover who understands both the pet and owners needs. No need to look any further than Agi and her little team. One woman family business so not tied to any of the big corporate groups which means much fairer pricing and most importantly the very best care and treatment for your furry friends. 💯 excellent!

Fantastic, Richard himself is so friendly, and easy to talk to. Providing me tips and extra little tricks to help me with my Eclectus boy. Can see that both himself and Carli really do have that compassion and care for the birds they see and it’s so refreshing. Above a business, it’s a passion that they share and I think that’s incredible. 10/10

I took my poorly chicken there. Richard the vet went above and beyond to explain his findings and formulated a theory, based on my description of events prior the chicken getting ill. What I thought it was a big swollen hip due to an accident (slip and fall on ice), turned out to be a nasty malignant growth the was giving my chicken endless amount of pain and suffering and that for sure it would have only progress for the worst. Sadly the tough decision to relieve Nuggets from her suffering was taken. No regrets, it was the only decent thing that was left to do. Richard very kindly confirmed his diagnosis a couple of hours later and reassured me she would only have carried on immobilised and in pain till the end. Thank you for all the joy you have given us Nuggets, you are for ever in our hearts. 🐓

I wouldn't want to go to anyone else. Richard and Carli are the best, and I travel a fair distance to give my birdies the best care. Always get quick responses to any queries from Carli and Richard, too. Highly recommend if you want to give your pet birds the best avian care. 👌

Like to say a big thanks to Carli and Richard for everything you did for peaches while in your care over a 15 years period when yous looked after her when she was not well she was in the best care we could have got for her when she was not well over the years yous are the best out there by a million miles for birds and we thank yous from the bottom of are hearts she back home now we’re she belongs after sadly passing away thanks again all are love Derek Paula Paul and Danielle ❤️❤️❤️❤️👍

Fantastic practice. All of the staff are amazing. Clare,Gemma and the whole team are so caring and compassionate. Clare has looked after many of our dogs over the years more recently at the new practice. Unfortunately Aida had to be put to sleep on the 3/1/2025 due to developing lymphoma at a young age. The bereavement room is beautiful and she was treated with much care and compassion. Thank you to all of you .

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for the outstanding care you provided to our handsome boy, Dante. Unfortunately we had to send him for his forever sleep on Friday after his illness took hold quite quickly and nothing more could be done for him. It has completely devastated us 😢 We know you did everything you could for him and always made him (and us) very comfortable. You are all such lovely, kind people and we appreciate everything you've done for our boy right up until the end. We have and will continue to recommend Milnrow Village Vets to everyone we know. Thanks again to all of you, from a distraught but very grateful family ❤️

Came with my elderly cat. As always we were greeted with a warm friendly face, gave my cat a real good going over and a steroid for dermatitis. My girl is like a different cat so much better. Me and all my family bring our animals here, such an amazing trustworthy vets. Extremely fair prices and the care and attention these lovely people give is second to none! Great value, thorough consultation and advice. I was feeling dissatisfied at a different vet clinic previously, as consultations felt rushed while bills were very high, so on a recommendation I came here. First visit today, I was very impressed. Off street parking was available. All the staff, receptionists, nurses and vet were helpful and accommodating. There are separate waiting areas for cats and dogs. Waiting time was minimal. The consultation was very thorough and it felt like honest advice, no up-selling, only appropriate treatment was suggested based on my pet's health and comfort rather than a drive for profit which I have encountered elsewhere. All my questions were answered. Vet Gemma was great with my animals. I was provided with an itemised invoice at request by reception. I am very grateful to this clinic for their support, I feel like I can trust them. Will definitely return.

I've been going here around 5 years. I've seen multiple people in the practice, all have been amazing. I find it trustworthy and honest. The receptionists are always fantastic. And everytime I have rang, they've always managed to see me. And it's the little things that mean the most. I sat on the floor in the consultation room and the nurse I was with sat on the floor with me. Trixie even had a wander around the room today. Thank you all at heywood vets.

The best veterinary practice around. If you want a vet that puts your fur babies first, then this is the place to go. The reception and pharmacy staff do an amazing job, always going above and beyond to help. They too are all caring animal loving people. So expect your pet to be stroked and fussed over. I lost my boy Diego last year to Heart failure and all the way through his illness, I was given support and most of all understanding.Thanks to Guilia (vet) I was able to have several months more with Diego. Megan (Reception) is amazing, when I lost my Diego, she totally understood my heartbreak and walked with me every step of the way. The empathy and understanding she shown, will never be forgotten, she’s a real Gem. I still attend here with my other dog and I know he is in safe hands, I highly recommend it to everyone I meet. I’ve finally found a place where…The animal comes first before money! The only issue I have is the parking. It can sometimes get a little overcrowded, but since they installed the number plate booking in service, it seems to have improved slightly. This is no reflection of the actual service you receive.

Absolute lifesavers! We rushed our little Milo to the clinic, worried he had a break or fracture. The team was so kind and told us to come straight in. Thankfully, it turned out to be just a bad sprain, and they had him patched up and comfortable in no time. The care and attention they gave Milo was incredible, and to top it off, it was affordable! We couldn’t be more grateful for their quick and gentle service. Highly recommended! 10/10 thank you so much everyone that helped :))

I cannot recommend this vets enough. Since getting Humphrey as a pup as a first time dog owner and our pretty regular visits 🙈, the whole team including at the reception and pharmacy have been nothing but helpful, caring, loving and understanding in whatever circumstances or situations were there for this time🤣🥲The online chat feature is brilliant as I was able to send photos of issues enabling an appointment quick time and seen within a couple of hours. Its the only vets I've heard of amongst friends that don't charge per appointment which has saved me a fortune!! Nothing is too much trouble, we love the team there and how amazing they are with him 🫶🏻

I can't recommend Animal Trust Failsworth enough! It felt perfect from the start. The receptionist was very friendly and totally calmed me down. Tasha, the nurse who saw Penny, was amazing, so caring and professional; you could tell she loved animals. She made sure Penny was comfortable and well cared for. What I love is that it's a non-profit that truly prioritises the animals first. The care is awesome, the prices are fair, and the staff go above and beyond. They're honest and upfront, making sure the pets get exactly what they need without pushing extra stuff. The service from everyone was top-notch. I'm thrilled with how Penny was treated, and we'll totally be back. If you want a vets that genuinely cares, this is the place!

Swapped to this vets with my dog over 5 years ago and so glad we did. Being an elderly dog we've had a few health concerns over the years. The staff have always been great, getting her in quickly when needed and being patient with her. They were always upfront and honest and didn't make her go through any unnecessary treatment. Unfortunately we had say goodbye to her recently, again the vet who we saw and the staff were fantastic. Even though it was booked as a routine appointment they didn't rush us and gave us all the time we needed to make a decision and say goodbye.

As usual Garry was amazing. The ongoing consultations are as caring and thorough as always. I feel confident that Alfie is getting all the treatments he needs to ease and control his illness. The staff are also brilliant from nurses to reception, always professional, very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this veterinary practice.
