I went to Droylsden today I would just wish they would keep the same vets at the same places everytime. When you find a vet you can trust and your pet feels comfortable with why do the managers move them to different places. The vet I seen I will see her when ever my Dog needs anything. I will move my Dog to see the same vet. But there is also some fantastic vets at all the practices. I'm just happy for the vet I seen. Remember our animals are everything to us. The other thing for me. I get it it's expensive for your pet to be seen for the first time. But when you take them back to be seen they reduce your bill for about £5.00 that's a joke. Even though your going back for the same illness. I feel it should be half price the medication puts the price up. It's just my view.

These Vets are brilliant with my dog Bella! Bella likes coming to them because she gets loads of fuss and attention. Great vets, great treatment and great pet health plans! Would definitely recommend.

Everytime I take my Dog, Mabel into the vets the service is second to none, the vets are caring, take time to explain and clearly show a genuine passion and interest in your pets wellbeing. The pet plan works exactly as it should, flea and worm treatments are always ready for collection when I order them online, and if one branch is closed you can be directed to another one and all your records etc. are there.

Usually we go to Hyde who are amazing but I had my to take my dog Brian to Droylsden to be seen at short notice for an end of life assessment 2 weeks ago. The receptionists were so caring and the vet James Thomas was absolutely amazing. He is a real credit to the vetinary clinic. He was supportive, caring and took his time, you feel so guilty and awful making the decision. Unfortunately it was best for Brian to put him to sleep. Even picking up Brian's ashes the receptionists were so caring. Would definitely recommend this vets.

Always great service. Very thorough and really nice having them at home where he's more settled. I was able to get a next day appointment when we needed it.

Vet care at home were there when I needed them, they were amazing, so compassionate, caring and kind. They treated my Rex with the respect he deserved, they took their time and allowed him to feel comfortable with them before they began the procedure talking me through each step! They showed me such kindness once Rex was sleeping helping me settle him in his bed and giving me a hug with kind words before leaving! A very difficult job made easier to bear! Thank you lovely ladies from vet care at home, you were amazing!

Absolutely outstanding care! Kind, respectful and compassionate. I was worried that my Bullmastiff would be aggressive but I need not have been. He liked the lady vets very much. My poor old dog had come to the end of the road and the procedure to ensure that he passed peacefully was carried out with such skill and precision that he did not even flinch. The vet sedated him first before he had the final injection. He was completely peaceful and experienced only love and care. Highly recommended. Very reasonably priced.

Great service, we’re able to top up my new puppy’s vaccinations without question. I’ve moved to this vet for both dogs now, as my previous vet (park vet, run by CVC) wanted to restart the vaccination program which just sounded really dodgy to me. They also offer a cheaper pet club subscription. I’m looking forward to improved care for my two doggies!

We came to this vets today after we’d noticed something wasn’t right with a cat we’d adopted. I can honestly say the staff were amazing. Today has been so difficult and life feels pretty cruel to have lost her this soon but the staff here went above and beyond. From the reception staff who were chatty and comforting whilst waiting to be seen, to the vet who looked after our little Luna and was so caring and understanding and also the vet nurse who took her paw prints and fur clippings. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all you did today. I’m so pleased Luna was cared for by such lovely people.

The only vets we've ever been with for all our pets past and present, no need to go elsewhere as this vet practice goes above and beyond be it advice or treatment. Loren is an amazing vet and as an owner of a nervous dog she's very understanding and gives great advice! Diarmuid is another vet that's always dealt with our pets he's very understanding and caters to the animals needs he was brilliant with our dog when he was in the late stages of an illness. Always at the end of the phone if needed, amazing surgery would highly reccomend 😀

My dogs have been going to Ashton since puppies and are now 8. We have found the team at Ashton to be caring, friendly and nothing has ever been too much trouble. We have received help and advice when needed. We have just gone through a trauma with one of our dogs and Ashton took the stress away of dealing with paperwork, so we could concentrate on the recovery of our furbaby.

Happy with our first visit. Every effort has been made to keep clients and their pets safe. I cannot rate the service highly enough. Very caring and professional. Thank you Albany!

Made a call, booked urgent appointments, treatment was done, and registration as well. The best place for your pets safety. My dog name is Toby Fox, and he is 4 years old.

My cat Matty was hit by a car and brought here by a very kind member of the public, but unfortunately he had already passed on. I was contacted by one of the team here and shown so much kindness and compassion. The team helped me with organising his cremation and let me stay in the room with him for as long as I wanted. I was then able to take his body away which was such a relief as I didn't want him to be alone anymore. Thank you Medivet, particularly to the lady on the phone who had just worked the night shift but stayed to comfort me in the room for while. Your kindness was so appreciated.

They cared about my cats. I booked an appointment on line (2 of them back to back) for my two kittens 6 month check. This was very easy to do. Unfortunately apparently a vet needs to do this and the on line booking, only booked the nurse. It wasn't a problem as I just re-booked over the phone. But maybe somehow integrating what appointment (there were options for this on the booking form) type to the correct person to see would be of use.

Always efficient, friendly staff and the vets are lovely and caring, always very informative and understanding. I had such great care of my last dog here till it was time to say goodbye. They were respectful and gave us plenty of time and privacy to spend precious last moments together. Just registered my new little one with them and I don’t doubt he will receive the best care too.

my darling cat yoko was put to sleep here after ingesting something poisonous that ultimately killed her, the vets and vet nurses were so sweet i couldn't thank them enough. kind humans are what we need more of in this world and the comfort i received from them really showed it. to the nurse who trimmed yokos nails and gave me her paw print to take home, thankyou. i'll never forget your kind tone of voice with her as if she was still here with me, and for being so gentle. such a lovely practice, my first time too. i recommend them purely for their kindness. 🕊️🤍

We have been to this veterinary surgery many times with 2 of our cats…our first visit was to put our beautiful molly out of pain. She was 25 years old and treated with such respect. Our cat Stevie now has treatment and regular check ups at this this lovely place. She can be very nervous being a rescue cat but is so good for the vets here as she trusts them. I would recommend this lovely surgery to any body

Took our two cavaliers for nail trim. The nurse was great with them. I also had a consultation with Jenny Pepper for one of the cavs. She too was excellent, gave treatment and sound advice for me to follow. The reception was very busy with the phones but there is always a cheerful voice at the end of the phone taking the details and being helpful at reception dealing with your case. I can only recommend the Practice highly for its care and advice.this was 4 years ago. We have lost our dear black and tan Pepa but Robbie is now almost 12 years old. He has received regular check up, great advice from all vets seen. The vets are courteous, gentle with our old dog and have given good advice. His recent kennel cough booster and check up was thorough. A good examination wascarried out questions asked as to his general well being. 14.6.24 Alicia Harris 10.1.2025 Our little fella went for his annual check and vaccination ti. New vaccine thoroughly explained. Dr Laing had dealt with Robbie before.she listene to my queries and abswered my questions. Very happy with this visit. In accordance with the new vaccine he has another appointment in one month.

Turner was so good at the vets today, great vets, answered my queries and cleaned his ears out, he's like a new pin! He did get one stab.. Ouch!

I had the extremely heartbreaking and painful experience of having to put my beautiful cat put to sleep. This was one of the most traumatic experiences and decisions one can face. The Vet, Aoife Tennyson was absolutely amazing. Her professionalism was exemplary, her experience shone through and above all, her overwhelming kindness and understanding is something that I will never forget. The staff team were just simply perfect. I rung the surgery to made the very difficult appointment and was treated with warm, compassion, thoughtfulness, and overwhelming benevolence from (I think her name is Pam, she is on reception). She spoke with empathy and sympathy. She told me they were fully booked, yet, she went above and beyond to accommodate me and my cat by fitting us in, on that day! When we arrived at the surgery again, we were given time and space to think, feel and absorb this horrendous experience in our own time. I was able to walk straight into the consultation room as the level of excellence continued with regard to giving me time, space, and room to grieve. The nurse, Victoria was very gentle and tender with my cat and talked me through each step of what she was doing. There are no words to describe the amount of high level of support and expertise given by this veterinary practice. I would recommend them to everybody. Shear brilliance!!!!

We have taken our cat to the Heaton Chapel branch and the service that we receive is absolutely great. The vets are really open to any of our questions and treat our cat with total care. I would recommend them to any body who wants a veterinary service that cares for their pets.

We made the toughest decision that faces all animal lovers yesterday and had to let my beautiful boy, Cyril go in peace.. The ladies at this practice are superb. They are kind, honest and empathetic in really tough circumstances and it has been greatly appreciated. Would recommend you take your pet here in an instant. They were always so caring with Pixie even though she didn’t care much for vets and the card we received when she passed away was above and beyond. Thank you ladies for everything.

We use Ashleigh Vets for our two guinea pigs. After finding out both had ovarian cysts, Elisa suggested a spay. I was really reluctant, but Elisa (Gonzales) was fantastic in allaying my fears. I am pleased to report the two guinea pigs have recovered beautifully, despite some initial complications. Thank you so much for your care and compassion.

I called the clinic as we suspected that our cat could have a urine infection. They said that they would need to see him the same day to treat him urgently. After getting them there they attended to him and sorted him out. The duty of care has always been second to none, thank you to Chloe and the team who answered my numerous calls and emails and explained to me step by step of what was taking place. Thanks everyone

Great service for exotic pets. My Guinea pig had hay poke and an infected eye. She was seen to within the day and given medication for it. Cleared up in a week. I would recommend this pets to anyone with exotic pets, this isn’t our first time visiting and they are helpful every time. The staff team are great and the vets are very gentle with our beloved pets.

Lovely friendly clean veterinary practice, my guinea pig developed heart disease suddenly at 7yo & he was treated with tablets. They soon had him running around again & I had an extra 6w with him to come to terms with his illness. He passed peacefully in his sleep no suffering & am very grateful for their marvellous care

We’ve been coming to Animal Trust in Ashton for the last year and we’ve been so grateful for the excellent quality of care that we’ve received. We originally came to this vets because our dog, Daphne, was really poorly. She spent some days in the Animal Trust hospital in Bolton, and when she was discharged we swapped from our other vets to the closer branch in Ashton as we’d been so impressed. She remained poorly for a really long time and Ionna went above and beyond to do everything she could, giving us lots of support and advice, and seeking second opinions and advice from experts. Daphne has made a miraculous recovery and we are so grateful to her. We now bring our puppy and cat to this vets as well, and both have been looked after so well by Ionna and the rest of the team. We very highly recommend them!

My dog was vomiting and the Animal Trust at Ashton advised me to immediately bring him in. So pleased I did as X-rays showed he had a blocked intestine thanks to a piece of tennis ball he must have found whilst out on a walk (tennis balls are just so dangerous once they are broken). My dog received the very best attention from the moment we arrived. He was seen urgently and quickly operated on to remove the obstruction.The amazing veterinary staff stayed late on a Friday night to do this and I could not have asked for better attention both on the day and at the follow up visits. Sprig has since made a wonderful, full recovery. I cannot thank everyone at Ashton enough for saving my boy, you are all a credit to your profession.

My partner and I visited Animal Trust Vets with our cat on 16/01/2025. She was bringing her food back up not long after eating. We got a same day appointment, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The vet was very thorough, and talked us through treatment options in a very reassuring, empathetic, manner. I felt that we were valued, and our cat was valued, which helps ease any worries we may have had. The final bill was very reasonable, for the service provided. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this vet practice to anyone.

I can't fault the care my 14 year old dog has had. He has been diagnosed with a bladder tumour and after considering all the options explained to us we opted for palliative care. At every subsequent visit the vets have been kind and compassionate. Its nice to be at a vet that cares about my pet not about how much they can bill me for. Would not go anywhere else.
