Finley has been seen at MVS for around 9 month and just had his left hip replaced by Steve and Ben. Everyone at Mvs is lovely and so helpful ! I felt so comfortable leaving my dog there knowing he is in such good hands. The nurse that admitted him and discharged him was amazing she talked through everything and was so friendly (I think she was called Charlie). I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone 🤍 Thankyou so much for taking such good care of my boy. And thanks Anna for your support in Finleys journey.

Such lovely caring staff, from the minute you need to make call and arrive with the reception team, to the surgeons, nurses and support team. Everyone is so kind and patient with both their patients and worried owners. Dottie has had a total hip replacement and awaiting for her next to be done and the care they have shown her is beyond phenomenal. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Came here with our little dog Morris. The advice and support we received was amazing! Really put our minds at rest. We were so concerned about his legs but now having the proper advice and a plan going forward we're very relieved. Obviously not just in it for the money which is always concerning when seeing a specialist. I couldn't recommend MVS enough! Lovely team and Mr bright was so knowledgeable and kind. After 16 weeks weeks we have finally had the all clear. Every member of staff at Manchester Veterinary Specialists have treated me my wife and Zeus amazingly, keeping us constantly updated, offering reassurance and always ensuring Zeus is as happy as possible under the circumstances. Zeus hyper extended his ligaments and required pancarpal arthrodesis using plates and bone grafts. We knew it was a big operation but the pre and post care Zeus received was exceptional. The post care routine was well planned out and the staff were always on hand to answer questions if we had any. Zeus is now mostly recovered and after today’s final scan he can finally get back to bigger walks and zoomies. I think it is also worth noting that we found the pricing to be very fair with absolutely no added extras or surprises, the whole pricing structure was discussed on day one and included everything both pre and post operation. Thank you so much!!!

Just registered my dog, he needed seeing urgently with skin issues and same day appointment given. Lovely staff throughout this practice and very reasonable vets fees. Would highly recommend

Irlam Animal Clinic did a fantastic job looking after our lovely dog Ted. We could always get an appt and the staff are lovely esp the young guy on reception and Joanne the Manager who went above and beyond when he sadly passed away with heartfelt finishing touches. The vets are amazing and do a fantastic job! even in the most difficult of times. They gave us an extra year with Ted which we are forever grateful for.

We were incredibly worried about our boa due to him not eating and excessively salivating and we were recommended this vets by two separate vets and called and were able to get an extremely prompt appointment and we cannot praise the reptile vet enough for not only his calm/calming demeanour but also his knowledge and advice. Due to him and his not only looking after our snake whilst there but after care advice we still have our gorgeous boy. Thank you

We use Ashleigh Vets for our two guinea pigs. After finding out both had ovarian cysts, Elisa suggested a spay. I was really reluctant, but Elisa (Gonzales) was fantastic in allaying my fears. I am pleased to report the two guinea pigs have recovered beautifully, despite some initial complications. Thank you so much for your care and compassion.

Great service for exotic pets. My Guinea pig had hay poke and an infected eye. She was seen to within the day and given medication for it. Cleared up in a week. I would recommend this pets to anyone with exotic pets, this isn’t our first time visiting and they are helpful every time. The staff team are great and the vets are very gentle with our beloved pets.

I called the clinic as we suspected that our cat could have a urine infection. They said that they would need to see him the same day to treat him urgently. After getting them there they attended to him and sorted him out. The duty of care has always been second to none, thank you to Chloe and the team who answered my numerous calls and emails and explained to me step by step of what was taking place. Thanks everyone

Referred by our vet for investigations for our dog. From start to finish everything was perfect, staff on reception warm and welcoming. Consulting vet James explained everything he was doing and showed a great deal of empathy towards us. He was lovely with our dog Brodie. He has continued to keep us updated. Perfect service at such a difficult time for us

What can I say other than what a fantastic team. Our dog Lucy had to have cruciate surgery. From being referred to leaving today every person has been so good kind and helpful. From Amy calling initially and putting our minds at rest to Andrew explaining everything pre op and post op and his skill doing the op. The two ladies on reception who greeted us and dealt with insurance payments and general care again making us feel at ease everything done in our time never pushed. We still have a long way to go recovery wise for Lucy but she's had the best care possible. Thank you again to Andrew and the team.

An absolutely incredible vets who saved our dog’s life after she was hit by a car. It’s been a long recovery journey and we could not have asked for better care for Florence. Special thanks to Rodrigo, Paul, Tom, Simon, Serena, Jessica and the amazing ICU nurses and lovely receptionists! We’re so grateful for everything you’ve done for our girl.

Cannot thank the staff enough for the care received today. Our cat Hope was transferred from our usual vets after being hit by a car. Thanks to you amazing people, she is on the mend and resting at home. It’s been a traumatic day but you guys have made us feel reassured and kept us informed throughout.

Really terrific and knowledgeable staff, relaxed atmosphere, and a comfortable experience with excellent care. I have been bringing my rescue cats here for years, and Simon helps me navigate their special needs so that they can have the best quality of life possible. Really appreciate everything the team does, they are dedicated and lovely to work with.

My American bulldog has suffered with long term skin problems and Simon is the only vet who has found a solution that is affordable and effective. The whole team have also gone above and beyond to help me with a foster cat and newborn litter of kittens that were in need of extra care.

Simon and the team are so lovely. Matilda, mani, butchy have all been at this vets from day dot. My first boxer was also under Simon great vets ❤️❤️❤️

My pug had an issue with mites, he was a ratching himself till he bled constantly, within 10 mins she told me what mite he has showed me a photo under the microscope of the pest, within 4 weeks his fur has all grown back no more scratching, absolutely delighted, before and after photos below. Quick and friendly service. First time visit for vaccination of cat. Cost seemed reasonable for vet treatment. Just been to get cat tested following issues with health. Excellent treatment.

Excellent all around. The reception staff are friendly and fantastic at what they do - informative and deal with the insurance claims on every visit. Vet Helen is absolutely briliant with our dog, and her approach to resolving our dog's ear infection and allergies has been spot on so far. After being to two other Vet clinics over the last 2 years, this is by far the best. Everything you'd hope to find at clinic for your loving pet - friendly, caring, efficient, knowledgeable and informative, with a clear plan of action. Thank you.

Been going here for quite a while now and have already left a review previously. Cannot fault them. The vets (in particular, Helen, who is exceptional), nurses and reception staff are a true credit to the practice. Thank you for your ongoing care for Millie.

We moved to the area around a year ago, and had to find a vet urgently as our dog had some sort of seizure. They got us in and registered quickly and we've been with Hellen since. Last week our dog had to be put down due to old age and complications. Hellen arranged it all with amazing compassion. This was done with the utmost respect to our dog and to us. I highly recommend this vets, and especially Hellen. The reception team has always been helpful and the whole experience with them has been really good.

Usually friendly, kind staff. Bit of a pain to get upstairs, there is a lift but it's a daunting one so I don't use it. Waiting room is quite small so it's a worry if another dog is there as mine is reactive, especially as the groomers is also up there. It does feel quite nice and open though. The owner is very nice.

I can't recommend Animal Trust Failsworth enough! It felt perfect from the start. The receptionist was very friendly and totally calmed me down. Tasha, the nurse who saw Penny, was amazing, so caring and professional; you could tell she loved animals. She made sure Penny was comfortable and well cared for. What I love is that it's a non-profit that truly prioritises the animals first. The care is awesome, the prices are fair, and the staff go above and beyond. They're honest and upfront, making sure the pets get exactly what they need without pushing extra stuff. The service from everyone was top-notch. I'm thrilled with how Penny was treated, and we'll totally be back. If you want a vets that genuinely cares, this is the place!

Absolute lifesavers! We rushed our little Milo to the clinic, worried he had a break or fracture. The team was so kind and told us to come straight in. Thankfully, it turned out to be just a bad sprain, and they had him patched up and comfortable in no time. The care and attention they gave Milo was incredible, and to top it off, it was affordable! We couldn’t be more grateful for their quick and gentle service. Highly recommended! 10/10 thank you so much everyone that helped :))

The best veterinary practice around. If you want a vet that puts your fur babies first, then this is the place to go. The reception and pharmacy staff do an amazing job, always going above and beyond to help. They too are all caring animal loving people. So expect your pet to be stroked and fussed over. I lost my boy Diego last year to Heart failure and all the way through his illness, I was given support and most of all understanding.Thanks to Guilia (vet) I was able to have several months more with Diego. Megan (Reception) is amazing, when I lost my Diego, she totally understood my heartbreak and walked with me every step of the way. The empathy and understanding she shown, will never be forgotten, she’s a real Gem. I still attend here with my other dog and I know he is in safe hands, I highly recommend it to everyone I meet. I’ve finally found a place where…The animal comes first before money! The only issue I have is the parking. It can sometimes get a little overcrowded, but since they installed the number plate booking in service, it seems to have improved slightly. This is no reflection of the actual service you receive.

Swapped to this vets with my dog over 5 years ago and so glad we did. Being an elderly dog we've had a few health concerns over the years. The staff have always been great, getting her in quickly when needed and being patient with her. They were always upfront and honest and didn't make her go through any unnecessary treatment. Unfortunately we had say goodbye to her recently, again the vet who we saw and the staff were fantastic. Even though it was booked as a routine appointment they didn't rush us and gave us all the time we needed to make a decision and say goodbye.

Wonderful staff, receptionists and vets. We stayed with this surgery despite moving to the opposite side of Manchester. Always taking very good care of our two cats

Mike who is the senior vet here is always responsive, clear and concise when it comes to explaining what the condition/treatment is. The nurses always look after our 11 year old chihuahua when he has to be admitted and thanks to keelie for making him feel safe and comfortable this week It would be great if the practice was open during weekends too hence the 4 star rather than 5

I have always found this practice from reception to seeing the vet an excellent, friendly and helpful service. My cat would report differently if she could. She completely ignores me for hours after. Ha ha

They were fantastic with me and my little kitten Millie. Millie was so relaxed with the vet and didn't make a sound when she had her injection. She was taken from her Mommy far to young so I have been bottle feeding her. She had her 1st injection today and was such a brave little soldier. She has brought so much joy to my life as I know I have to hers too.

Great place just at the start of an estate but very easy to find. Staff were friendly and helpful. Separate waiting areas for cats and dogs which is a great help. I was seen very quickly and the vet was wonderful. It was a little busy as it was the morning but no very long waits. Fantastic service from a very worthwhile charity. You so get asked if you would like to make a donation. Which I did as I have insurance and the donation goes a very long way. Only problem was a very very unhappy and disgruntled cat!!

Amazing place, well organised, extremely clean and well structured. The staff was very friendly and impeccable. They helped right away. I intend to have pets for the kids in the near future and now I know the vet I’m taking the pets for routine and vaccinations. Great place. I was surprised to have such a great vet near my home.
