Delicious food, the beef was the best meat I've ever had! The staff were great, we were very well looked after. Looking forward to returning.
We had the Turkish and the Bombay breakfasts. The service was fantastic and attentive. The coffees were hot and very tasty. We tried to book in for lunch but couldn’t get a reservation. Really strongly recommend a visit. All the staff were friendly and engaging and it was great value for money. We will definitely come here again!
Our first visit to the Martlet Kitchen and we will definitely visit again. It is a beautiful space in the stunning setting of Rochdale Town Hall. We really enjoyed the food which was traditional, fresh, tasty and well-presented. The front of house staff were really friendly and attentive. Everything was lovely apart from the coffee which was a stranger to the coffee bean! We wish this business every success. Rochdale certainly needs businesses of this calibre to succeed as the so-called Northern Powerhouse seems to have passed it by!
What a beautiful venue. Service and food was as spectacular as the room. We had the three course which I never normally do, but the options were too tempting. We will definitely be going again.
Lovely little restaurant in the newly renovated town hall. Some really delicious things on the menu and the staff were very attentive. We visited when the Mayor was entertaining so I marked the atmosphere down as everyone seemed to be fussing with his party and the photographer seemed to be taking photos of every inch of the restaurant and was quite irritating. We weren't asked if we minded being in the photos I know this won't be an everyday occurrence! I definitely would go back and would recommend.
