Beer is hit & miss, more about variety than quality - not going to win any awards but tasting flights are a good idea to check what is worthy. Nice atmosphere at the brewery at least.

Cracking place with loads of different beers brewed on site. Staff we lovely especially the young man ( sorry his name escaps me) The idea of pop up food is great and the food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Best loaded fries I've ever tried. The beers I tried were all delicious and very moreish. Well done guys we will be back to work our way through all the beers. 100% recommend 👌

Had no idea that this micro brewery was based in Timperley. Flic arranged my visit to the brewery where a bar area is open for a few limited hours a week. They had one mild of hand pump plus a session Pale Ale. Both very good.

Great small taproom, only open Fri and Sat. Quiet this Sat, still good atmosphere and good food van on the day.

Was lucky to get a table on a busy Friday evening. The food was great, and the service was excellent. Ordered falafel & lamb and rice dish. Overall, it is good value for money.

Ignore the one bad review, maybe the restaurant was having a bad day. Second time eating here. Food is great, good quantity, really good quality, nicely presented, cooked, and served promptly. Really can't see what else they can do to make it better. And no this isn't a paid review. It's well worth a visit, support your local restaurants!

Had a lovely evening last night at Beirut. The service and atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. I had grilled halloumi and a mixed grill with rice and my partner had amazing chicken wings then mixed grill with fries. The manager brought us complimentary desserts which was a lovely touch 😋

Good food is good restaurant. The carvery is very fresh, and give generous portions. Meat tastes good, and they have lots of options for people who can't have beef/pork. ONLY GO FOR THE CARVERY. It is the cheapest and best option, with the children's carvery only for 7.00 with huge portions. Slight problem is that the staff sometimes take a heck of a long time serving. They spend so much time talking to each other that a line of 3 people to took about 20 minutes. Not acceptable.

Fantastic food the portion sizes are great. The desserts are amazing and fantastic to take away too as each one could easily feed a few people. Service was good with a fun manager which made the time there even better. The prices are extremely reasonable and only 50p for a 2 pint upgrade for coke is amazing.

My mother suffers from severe social anxiety. The staff were very accommodating to us especially “Jackie”. They were able to cater to my mothers needs. We hd a phenomenal time at the establishment. They constantly checked if we were happy and the food was amazing. Mum had the fish and chips and I had the carvery. Would definitely recommend the carvery 😎.

Another "Down memory lane" pub visit with Flic. Came here a few times back in 1974 - 75 when I lived locally and maybe once about 30 years ago. A J.W. Lees pub with excellent range of their real ales. Had a pint of their autumnal bitter "Bramble". Very good. Great value pub. Beer garden and car parks. Very pleasant visit.

It is an excellent place for a quiet pint or a full family meal. I've been there several times in the day and of an evening and will go again. They also have a range of entertainment events there too.

Comfortable place, friendly staff, wonderful and fresh food…

This was a family celebration with a main meal for 17 followed later in the evening with a buffet for friends attending the party. The food for the main meal ( various mains) was excellent as was the service. The buffet food was equally delicious and varied. The manager Sam and his staff did an excellent job and were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble which helped to make the event very enjoyable. I would happily recommend the Moss Trooper to anyone wanting to stage an event here in the future. Many thanks to Sam and his staff.

Last visited about 10 years ago but used to come here back in 1974/75 when I lived locally. Flic on his first visit. Lovely Hydes pub with bowling green to rear and thus lots of outdoor seating. Good pint of Hopster, one of up to five Hydes real ales. Large open pub spread around the central bar. Flic likes this pub.

Lovely food. Very good price. Great service. Good old fashioned style pub. Great Atmosphere. Good size menu. And best of all, nice pint. Told my niece about this place and she went last night, she rung me to tell me she really enjoyed her food. Great place.

Staff went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable as my mum is disabled. Food was lovely. The only thing I didn't like was the minted lamb burger, the combo was weird it had an onion baji, poppadoms and curry sauce on the burger in the bun :/ haha never mind, the rest was delicious 😋

Went for Christmas dinner 2024 first time I've eaten out for Christmas dinner and I was very nervous about it, especially the fact that I'm coeliac and a vegetarian. I mean what could go wrong....everything...But everything was perfect the food was delicious. The hostess was fantastic nothing was too much for her. I would highly recommend it here.

I enjoyed a delicious steak and ale pie and chips and broccoli. Lovely shortcrust pastry and tender steak. Staff were very helpful and welcoming and checked on whether everything was alright which many restaurants don't seem to bother with any more. Good value . Would definitely recommend.

Busy today because of mother's day but staff were very accommodating and friendly! Absolutely beautiful Sunday roasts and service 🤩 thank you so much! Definitely gonna be back for more meals ❤️❤️❤️

On a day out with Flicarus. Just realised this is my first visit here in 49 years when I lived locally on Brooklands Road. ( I also learned never to gamble in a pub. I was £30 up at poker with incredible luck, about 150 pints in today's money...so they changed to a game where I did not know the rules and won most of it back...with what I soon discovered was by cheating! Still, lesson learnt.) Liked my visit. 3 real ales and CAMRA 10% discount. Lovely Greene King pub. Big beer garden at the rear. Seating in front as well. Flic likes the Christmas decorations in mid November. Ho Ho Ho.

Went for dinner on the 2nd of June, evening before my wedding. We sat outside as it was a nice evening. The food was delicious and service was great. Portion sizes were generous as well and very reasonable prices. Will definitely go again or alternatively order delivery.

Food was incredible, i had the meatballs with Spaghetti which was delicious, kids and wife had pizza which they all loved, was in a group of 10 and everyone had different dishes which were loved by all. Didn't try the wine as I was driving but looked a decent selection of reds. Staff were friendly too. I would recommend and would visit again. I need to learn how to do a tomato sauce as good as this.

It was slightly hidden, but it was definitely worth coming. The lamb roast dinner was delicious and great value for money for the portion size you get. The desserts were also large and tasty too. Large indoor space with plenty of seating areas. Seating areas outside, which will be good during the summer. Plenty of parking, and wheelchair accessible.

2nd trip, still as awesome as ever! Awesome staff, good range of beers and very good value food. What's not to love?! The steak for £10 was fantastic, highly recommend!!!

Lovely dinner today. Roasts were amazing including, and my son said his fish and chips were the best he’s ever had. Highly recommended.

Old Hall Pub has quickly become my favorite spot! The perfect blend of amazing ambiance, delicious food, and great drinks makes every visit special. It's rare to find all three in one place, but Old Hall delivers on every front. Whether you're coming for a meal or just to relax, this place has it all. The only thing I’d love to see improved is the kitchen hours. Closing at 9 pm feels a bit early, especially for those of us who like to stay longer and enjoy a relaxed evening of food and conversation. Our friends' group loves spending time here, and we would love to enjoy the food a little later into the night. Overall, still an amazing spot!

Quite nice pub in Altrincham with good food 👍 Old English style interior & exterior design. I go in here quite a lot the food is lovely and the staff are fantastic and very friendly. The atmosphere is great new years eve is brilliant we've been going in here now for a good few years and have always had a great time
