Love this place, the staff are always so welcoming. The food is decent. NHS discount on food, not including any offers though bear in mind. Karaoke was great fun 😄 Updating 13 Sept 2022, another fabulous meal at the stonemasons, they must know good staff when they see them and they must be good employers to keep them too. All the crew that looked after us today were amazing, we were celebrating my mums 65th birthday and she had a fabulous time, she's vowed to return for the senior special 😉 Looking after us there was Michael, Ash, William all front of house serving and making us all feel welcome, making my mum feel extra special too every time they came over. And the food, the nachos and award winning pies in particular, exceptionally good value and very tasty. All thanks to Aaron in the back working hard to get all our orders out together, even though we all ordered and paid separately. I don't need to tell you we will all definitely be returning ... Update March 2023, Still love going here, recently tried dome of the small plates and they were lovely. Again, all the staff lovely and very friendly. Always love a bite to eat and few drinks in here, it's my go to after a stressful week as its only a short walk away and always a good time. Update December 2023 Went in today for a burger and Christmas cocktail 😋 excellent as usual Updated Nov 2024, well been a few years since coming here now. Still the stand out attribute of this local is the staff, Aaron, Michael and Laura, super fab team. A real credit to the pub. Always welcoming and always smiley faces all round. Quiz night is a blast!

I enjoyed a delicious steak and ale pie and chips and broccoli. Lovely shortcrust pastry and tender steak. Staff were very helpful and welcoming and checked on whether everything was alright which many restaurants don't seem to bother with any more. Good value . Would definitely recommend.

Went for Christmas dinner 2024 first time I've eaten out for Christmas dinner and I was very nervous about it, especially the fact that I'm coeliac and a vegetarian. I mean what could go wrong....everything...But everything was perfect the food was delicious. The hostess was fantastic nothing was too much for her. I would highly recommend it here.

On a day out with Flicarus. Just realised this is my first visit here in 49 years when I lived locally on Brooklands Road. ( I also learned never to gamble in a pub. I was £30 up at poker with incredible luck, about 150 pints in today's money...so they changed to a game where I did not know the rules and won most of it back...with what I soon discovered was by cheating! Still, lesson learnt.) Liked my visit. 3 real ales and CAMRA 10% discount. Lovely Greene King pub. Big beer garden at the rear. Seating in front as well. Flic likes the Christmas decorations in mid November. Ho Ho Ho.
