Always fantastic service at Turtle Bay. The use of a free £20 birthday gift by having their app is great and can be used on absolutely anything! Food is always piping hot, fresh and flavoursome. If you don't quite know what to try, I recommend the Mixed Sharer (a few pounds more than a main meal) to taste a bit of what's on offer.

Had such a a great time at Turtle Bay for birthday drinks on Friday! The vibe was spot on, cocktails were banging, and the food was perfect for light bites, would definitely recommend the mac n cheese!! Big shoutout to James—proper sound guy, super friendly, and made sure our drinks landed fast. Definitely coming back for more good vibes, great food, and top-tier cocktails.

I am no longer a turtle bay bottomless brunch virgin and already I am planning to go back. I’m not a massive fan of cocktails but my friend is so I took one for the team and tried as many cocktails as possible along with my pint. Our server Delfin was fabulous super attentive, and explained everything to me as it was my first time. The food was delicious! I had a chicken roti wrap with sweet potato fries and I could eat it all over again now, really tasty and hot.

Fantastic place to enjoy delicious food and wonderful, tasty cocktails. Out server Aimee kept us well hydrated with cocktails during our bottomless brunch! Looking forward to returning 😀

Greeted with a very friendly atmosphere, no pressure while looking through the menu. Food was incredible, the Egusi was the best we’ve had by far! Nothing was too much to ask for. The wings were succulent and seasoned to perfection. Even the plantain was none greasy. Very very well cooked. Left feeling energised and extremely satisfied. Will definitely be returning

Arrived during lunch hour and it was no problem to have lunch without a reservation. Very friendly and professional staff. The have a nice selection of wine by the glass and the bottle selection is also really good. Foodwise I can say that every dish had wonderfully balanced ingredients of high quality. Some of the dishes (artichoke and cabbage with mussels) were magnificent. A must visit when you want wine and dine on a high level in Manchester.

Still my favourite place in Manchester. From the hospitality and welcome to the absolutely incredible food! Complex but approachable cooking with sauces to die for. Each dish is immaculate and full of flavour with superb presentation. The guys here are just going from strength to strength, every visit they somehow keep getting better. Inventive drinks offering with local suppliers and natural wines. Front of house is relaxed and attentive but the stars of the show are Julian and Max the chef/owners whose welcome and conversation is the best you will get anywhere in the city. Wether it’s on the chefs table or being served one of their dishes they truly make every meal a special occasion. Absolutely loving what these guys are doing and with the challenges of the venue size they are smashing it out the park. Go and visit Exhibition too in Manchester where they have a kitchen serving incredible flatbread based dishes called Jaan.

For only a small restaurant this place packs a punch. They made my partners 40th such a special experience and looked after us so well. With gorgeous seasonal food that is so intricately put together I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We were really looking forward to visiting this restaurant, especially since it has a high rating of 4.8 on Google. The starters were a pleasant surprise—very good and creative. However, the main courses were a bit of a letdown. The cabbage tasted good, but the core was bitter. Unfortunately, the steak was dry and overcooked, even after we sent it back (we had ordered it medium rare). Overall, we wanted to give this place a higher rating because it seemed like a hidden gem, especially for the price. We’ll need to come back another time to see if it was just an off night.

We had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful Ghanaian restaurant and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. We ordered the banku and tilapia with a side of fried plantain and it was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavours. The lady, who we believe is the owner, was an absolute sweetheart, welcoming us with warmth and kindness. The atmosphere is homely and no-nonsense, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a hearty meal without any pretence. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience genuine Ghanaian cuisine!

If you're looking for an unforgettable food experience, Munch Plug in Moston, Oldham, should be at the top of your list! From start to finish, our meal was a culinary delight. We ordered a mix of pizzas, chicken, Smash burgers, spicy wings, and dynamite wings—and every dish was absolutely fantastic. The pizzas were perfectly baked with a crispy, yet soft crust, loaded with fresh, flavorful toppings. The Smash burgers were a stand-out, juicy and bursting with flavor, paired perfectly with crispy fries. The chicken was tender and cooked to perfection, while the spicy wings and dynamite wings had the perfect balance of heat and taste that left us craving more. The sides were just as impressive—mozzarella sticks that were golden and gooey on the inside, loaded fries with succulent chicken and donner on top, a real indulgence that hit all the right notes. Every dish was packed with flavor and expertly prepared. Munch Plug delivered a fantastic spread that was worth every penny. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and give this place a try—you won't be disappointed! A well-deserved 5-star experience!

Customer service was the real highlight of this visit. The person who served us went all out in helping us choose the food. I don't know his name but it could be Sami. The Smash burger was awesome and it was very similar to the other popular smash burger shops. The achari pizza was suggested to us and it was very tasty and well presented. The chips serving was very generous aswell as the sauces. I was lucky enough to sample some doner meat, that was a very kind gesture and its tasted good. The chicken burger was also delicious and I only got it for nostalgia. This is a new takeaway and a real hidden gem tucked away in Moston/Failsworth. I really hope the staff are consistent with the customers service and the quality of the food.

Ordered the wings in 2 flavours which came in a generous portion size. Both tasted delicious and were coated very well. Would definitely come back! Service was also great. Highly recommend this new spot

Amazing food, went for sharer menu and very happy with portions and sizes. By end was thoroughly full and pleased. Some stand outs was Yorkshire Rhubarb dessert and also the Beetroot with smoked cod roe Negroni cocktail was amazing as well as organic orange wine. Great place and look forward to visiting again

Fantastic restaurant showcasing fresh seasonal ingredients. They serve a selection of small plates and some larger ones with a regularly rotating menu. The staff were lovely and very helpful and everything I had was super delicious. I particularly enjoyed the tomato dishes and the beef tartare. I managed to snag a seat at the counter too so could watch the chefs prepare everything in their open kitchen. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

I went to higher ground for a lunch with family. The food was out of this world and was modern British cuisine. Waiters and hostess working there were very cooperative and friendly. They attended us immediately as we went right on time we were booked. We tried the tasting menu which was was very surprising - Hostess told us that they won't tell us about the menu as that's there way of making you feel good about the food and have no anticipation whatsoever (no partiality either). This was surreal as I felt and gave my first reaction which was honest to the core as the different courses of food kept on coming. I totally recommend this place if you have a special day to celebrate or if you are looking for a peaceful lunch and evening with a loved one in cool and breezy sunshine of Manchester. :)

Loved this restaurant in Manchester city centre. Creative ever changing menu with an emphasis on sharing. The atmosphere was laid back, the staff were all really friendly and helpful with recommendations and there was also an excellent wine list. The food was fantastic, there's some talented people working in that kitchen

Fantastic from start to finish. From the food which was faultless & very reasonably priced for the quality. The staff which are so friendly & welcoming, from the 2 gentleman at the door when you enter, welcoming staff front of house & servers, all are friendly & do what they can to make your visit as perfect as possible, especially a tall guy called Miltos. If you want a 5* experience at an average price, you will not be disappointed

We were initially drawn to the restaurant by its impressive exterior, and once inside, we were delighted by the stunning ambiance. While the staff were polite, they didn’t come across as particularly warm, though they were still accommodating. The food was decent, though not extraordinary. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we received a complimentary cake after our meal, which was a thoughtful touch and appreciated for the occasion. The restroom, located upstairs, was beautifully decorated, adding to the overall charm of the place. All in all, it was a pleasant experience, with a few small areas for improvement in service, but the hospitality and atmosphere made it memorable.

Yet again, a fantastic meal at The Ivy! Fantastic service throughout from our server, amazingly tasty food. And honestly, it's not massively expensive... yes a little more than what you'd pay in a Spoons, but the food is top notch devine with a wonderful atmosphere and wonderful, personal service! It's our treat. You can pay less than £20 for a two course meal. Also, the App gave an amazing offer... double points... whoop! Thank you once again for an amazing experience.

I can't believe it's taken me so many years before I left a review. I have tried this suya from the start when it was based outside . People will queue in the rain just to taste this suya and I was 1 of them . It was worth the wait. I'm not just reviewing just the suya. I'm reviewing the heart and soul of this suya establishment. This man works hard to give us the authentic taste of suya from Nigeria. You can get lamb, beef , fish , shaki, etc suya. You get 2 options of spice mild and hot. I always go for hot every time. When you walk in, you feel a warm welcome . Even if there is a queue, the customers are having nice banter between each other whilst they wait. The room is filled with the aroma of the suya laughter and music. The music varies from afrobeats , Dolly Parton , love bollards you name it, and it's always a vibe. You have a choice to have the suya garnished with onions, tomatoes, and cucumber. I can talk about this suya place all day because it hits the spot every time I crave for it. Out of 10, I give this suya place a hard 10. Never disappoints in flavour and good banter. For those who are always in a rush, you have the option to call ahead and preorder you, suya.

Came here few times, and the last time after having seen them on “Come dine with me: The Professionals”. The place is really good, reminds me of when i visited the US. Service was friendly. Food was really tasty and well cooked. Chef came out to ask us for a feedback as we ordered something that she only recently launched on the new menu, which, in my opinion, is a really good sign as they are open minded and wanting to improve. Our mixed meat platter was amazing. Says that feeds 2 but I’m sure it’s enough for 3 people. Great vegetarian options to choose from. Would definitely recommend.

First time visiting "The Old School BBQ Bus" an this place surely didn't disappoint!!! Lip smackingly good!!😋 Was on a mission for some barbecue as I had a right hankering for a good feed!! Have tried the likes of Red's & Hickery's bbq but fancied trying somewhere new - other places are good, but the same stuff is a bit repetitive.. I came across this place whilst searching online! An Well, I think this place has become the new go too!! Absolutely spot on! 🤩🤩 the food was amazing an im not jsut saying that. 🌭🍗🍖🥩🍔. This is probably some of the best bbq I had since being in the state 🇺🇸. Real true orthentic favours!! The meats has such a depth of smoke from being cooked low an slow, just take the bbq to the next level. 😍😍🍖 We tried the pitmaster for 2 as well as the spam fritters & Rattle snake bits 🐍 as a side.!! Thought this was the best option to get a feel for what they had to offer, as the menu is quite vast a bit spoiled for choice!! It surely doesn't disappoint that was for sure. The portion sizes are massive, Border line needed to be wheeled out was that full. Left with doggy bags for the bits we couldn't manage. Can confirm that kts just as nice the next day!!
