This was genuinely the best tasting Turkish/Mediterranean Restaurant I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. The waitress gave recommendations and was super friendly. In terms of atmosphere/cleanliness the restaurant was also spot on. Most importantly, the food was exquisite. It tasted hearty, homemade and fresh.

I took my sister here for her birthday for the lunch special! Firstly the 2 courses for 12.99 was a bargain. The food itself was delicious. I had the moussaka and it was so tasty and a good portion size for a lunch special. I would highly recommend! We will definitely be back soon.

My partner and I visited on Sunday evening for the 2nd time. We were greeted with smiles by Katie and sat down at our new favourite table. Katie & Hekim were very attentive all evening, whilst we enjoyed a beautiful 3 course meal and cocktails. Can’t fault the food. I’ve had the mixed meat grill the first time & a mixed seafood grill the second time. I can’t wait to visit again in a few weeks to try the casserole! We have been very well looked after by all the staff, particularly Ismail, the owner. Would highly recommend, but would advise you book in advance as space is limited & gets busy quick!

Enjoyed a fantastic early evening meal here with my 3 teenage children last week. The service was welcoming and courteous and the food was absolutely top notch. Very nice décor, too. Not even the mean old hag sitting on another table across from us clicking her fingers at the waitresses and speaking to them like dirt could dampen what was a great evening all round. This is the best place in Leigh for food, it’s all cooked in front of you. From burgers, steak to katsu curry and rice bowls. I’ve been coming here for two years and it’s always 5 star.

Amazing food....I was about to venture out to Miller and Carter when I happened upon this takeaway. The food was 10/10, I had the squid for starters and beef ramen, couldn't fault anything. Finished off with a brownie and ice cream. Credit where its due, one of the best takeaways I've had ever. When I visit work site next time I'll definitely be repeating my order.

I highly recommend the wild grill... I always have the salt and pepper squid starter and the beef brisket ramen bowl... and it is always top quality, piping hot and delicious fresh food. They have an open kitchen so you can watch them cook your food fresh. The staff are so friendly and will always have a chat with you. By far the best takeaway in leigh for me 👍

OMG! TOO TOO GOOD!!! We randomly ordered through Just Eat and OMG... The ramen broth is deep and rich, the beef..like it was born with flavouring!! What did you guys do to the cow?? 🤣 And then we tried the beef rib burger. The bone just slides off smoothly, the meat 12/10, just perfect! Better burger than Almost Famous. Really. Next, we had the Southern Fried Chicken Bao. I promise you this review is not endorsed, but omg you guys, what are you doing in Leigh?? (But PLEASE STAY) Last but not least, the fries (or chips, for u brits) made it through the delivery and still so crispy it woke up our dog! We dipped the fries into the heavenly peppercorn sauce, which i could drink like a shot! It was seriously THE BEST dinner in bed for us! Next time we'll come there. Promise. Thank you. We love you!!

Went to try for first time and ordered the munchbox 3 both me and my partner were impressed with the presentation and taste of the food, the service was brilliant and fast, will definitely go again!!

I phoned Wild Flame and ordered 2 meals for takeaway in which I collected within 20 minutes of calling I got The Cassanova and The Mama Mia. I had the Mama Mia and the burger was juicy, tasty and above my expectations the only let down was the fries as I found some of them a little undercooked but the seasoning was lovely so this is the reason I given my meal 4 out of 5 stars. If the chips were cooked fully it would have achieved a full 5 other than that I will definitely buy from Wild Flame in future due to the excellent friendly service and the lovely burger which I will 110% order again

Words cannot describe how good the eggs Benedict is here. The pancakes are out of this world so soft and fluffy like you see in the movies! Highly recommend if you find the time 👍

The food here is amazing. The service is friendly and professional. Had afternoon tea here yesterday and was delicious. My friend has a wheat intolerance and they couldn’t do enough. Her afternoon tea was the best she’s ever had. So nice to have such a quality place in Leigh. Can’t recommend enough.

Good food well priced and friendly service

Stopped for some impromptu food, with no prior knowledge. All I can say is wow! I had the lamb and mint pie. Simply stunning and well worth the calories. My wife had the Cajun chicken and that was awesome. For the money, we had a great feed. We were not local, but felt really welcomed. All I can say is BOOM and try the pie!!

Just wanted to leave a review to focus on an amazing staff member! Kim is amazing! Always welcoming with a smile and incredibly helpful. She consistently goes the extra mile to ensure a great experience every time I visit the Bowling Green. The food is always fantastic, and it’s the perfect spot to come after work for delicious meals and drinks. Such a great atmosphere!

29th JANUARY 2025. ‘Wandering Wednesday’ this week took Hubster Neil and I to an absolute diamond of a hidden gem….. ‘The Nevison Country Inn’ which is in Leigh, it’s an old untouched Country pub, not many of them left and it like a pub should be, locals stood at the bar and very welcoming.….. I was a little dubious at first looking on their website because of the low prices, in comparison to other pubs and restaurants that we have visited previously….. I was TOTALLY wrong…. The food was out of this World, EVERYTHING served in this little Gem is all homemade and you can really tell the difference, they were the best ‘proper’ chips we’ve ever had and they tasted exactly like my Nanna Smyth used to make….. I’ve found the next best to her chips and that’s saying something🥰. We went straight to entrées; We both had the same: ‘Brown Cow Pie’, with proper chips, the veg was cabbage and sliced carrots, both cooked perfectly al dente. The Pie was packed with thick chunks of braised steak, it fell apart, so lean, no fat at all and it literally melted in your mouth, covered in thick rich gravy and covered with a beautiful short crust pastry top….the plates were full of generous portions. We had a bucket of salt and pepper proper chips to share, along with Pepsi Max to wash it down. The two young Ladies serving us, Milan and Sienna were professional, had impeccable manners, they were rushed off their feet as it was lunchtime but always had a smile, they definitely know their jobs and do it very well. Behind the scenes is a very big thank you to the chefs….. your food is amazing, no room for improvement as it’s already perfect. We have found this hidden gem and will be back very soon, I would strongly recommend you book a table beforehand as the place was full within 10 minutes of us being seated…. It’s up there in our top 5…. So! would we go back?? Without a doubt YES, YES…

Don't go in here nearly as much as we should. We're local, but not born in Leigh so sometimes it feels awkward in certain places, but not here! People are so friendly! Great atmosphere, we have a very big dog and she was welcomed in too by the staff and customers. Really enjoyed our drinks. Hope to see you all soon 😊

It's a great place to eat, if you like Italian food, you won't be disappointed. Friendly service on the top of everything. Will come back again for sure.

First visit, lunchtime, very impressed very friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, really enjoyed our meal just found my main a little salty but that's down to personal taste. A little quiet for a Friday I was surprised it wasn't a little busier. Nice ambience, music on but at a nice volume so you can have a conversation. I would recommend without hesitation. However, having family members who are vegetarian I noticed that there isn't much choice on the menu. Maybe worth checking if you plan a visit that there is something to suit your taste.

As this was our first visit, we decided to try the Early Bird Menu (5-6pm, Tue-Fri) of three courses for £26.85 per person and a bottle of house red wine £19.95. The food was absolutely delicious and good portion sizes. I initially thought the price for the house red wine was a little expensive. However, it was very good. The staff were very polite and attentive and we weren't rushed at all. We will definitely be going back.

Exceptional service friendly and attentive staff. Food was excellent well presented and very tasty. Loved how they looked after families with their dogs how they straightaway brought a bowl of water for the dog. It was lovely to see and hear the interactions with regulars. We went here last weekend, to explore the newest cuisine in town. We were not disappointed, food was amazing, a friendly welcome and the longer wait - all is freshly prepared to your order- was brighten up by a little board game. Why not all 5⭐⭐?! It was a bit cold - the weather had turned and I guess being that early as we were the heating hasn't kicked in, which in turn gave the atmosphere a bit of - a chill!? Making the long wait for the food a bit of an endurance. That said, we loooved the food, it's a nice place and we will be definitely back for more!!!!!! With this, please give this amazingly exotic restaurant a visit, it counts and you would regret not having been there!!!

An amazing experience, thank you Taste Africana!!!! A wonderful introduction to African food, we had a tour around the menu, my husband eats fish and I'm a veggie, plenty of delicious options for us both. The meal was absolutely delicious! Fab music in the background and lovely company. We were even introduced to an African board game which was loads of fun! We will be back! Thank you again, a great evening! A must, very highly recommended!

If I could give this place more than five stars, I absolutely would! I travel an hour just to enjoy their food, and it’s worth every mile. Their Nkwobi, Isiewu and pepper soup are simply the best I’ve ever had—flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. Not only is the food top-notch in both quantity and quality, but the prices are also incredibly reasonable. You get amazing value for your money, which is rare these days. What truly sets this restaurant apart, though, is their exceptional customer service. The staff is warm, welcoming, and always ensures that every customer leaves satisfied. It feels like home every time I visit. If you love authentic, delicious food and outstanding service, this is the place to be.
