Such a stunning restaurant, warm and inviting. We had the Sunday Sharing Platter which was huge and had everything we wanted. Denise, our server was lovely and friendly and gave us detailed information about what we were ordering. We will definitely be returning as there is plenty more on the menu we want to try.

I booked a night at the hotel and the rooms are excellent. Check in was simple and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room decor is high end and it has all the extras you’d need, free Wi-Fi, parking, ironing board etc. The rooms are only accessible by stairs, I didn’t see a lift, so that could limit visitors with mobility issues. The bed was incredibly comfortable and a firm, great quality mattress, which was well received. I didn’t eat in the restaurant, so was unable to rate the food.

We were served by the lovely dawn, who took our order and recommended how to have our steak cooked. She was super friendly and checked up to make sure everything was ok! The food was perfect as always, Dawn made our experience very positive and makes us want to come back!

The steak is excellent. I had the 30-day 9oz rump (so towards the lower end of the price range), cooked rare, and it was fantastic. Together with the beef dripping sauce and seasoned fries, it was a winning combination. So just goes to show you don't need to spend a fortune. The service was also excellent - they have obviously tried hard to make it an experience and the interior is warm and spacious. The only gripes were that we were waiting for around 5 minutes at the front desk on arrival - and passed several times without an acknowledgement - which did not get us off to a good start. However, all staff were very polite and professional, and our waiter was particularly attentive and I would go as far as to say an asset to the establishment. The sign outside about dress code, and reiterated when booking online, makes a little bit too much of a point - which inadvertantly sends the wrong message I fear. The ambience and class of the place, and of the food, should be the focus and able to speak for itself no matter what customers choose to wear. A note to the management - if it feels special, customers will of course dress accordingly!

Discovered this hidden gem while looking for a light lunch. We came with a dog, which was welcome on the curbside veranda. There are outside heaters, which were very welcome end of October, we'll make for the inside next time. Menu looks great, particularly impressed with the selection of drinks and cocktails and the fact there is actually Bermuda rum in the Dark & Stormy. Service was prompt and attentive. We had Tortilla chips with a delicious trio of salsas Chipotle black beans, which were scrumptious Smoky mushroom Tacos, very unusual, I liked them but a step too far for my daughter, who buried herself in Birria Tacos, which were excellent and she felt rivalled her favourite Don Taco's. In summary, we'll be back, definitely for Taco Tuesdays and after the sun is over the yard arm with serious intent for the cocktails.

Amazing place and venue. Staff really friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Tacos were lovely and one of the best spicy Margaritas I have ever had ! Definitely going again !

Absolutely love this little gem. Always delightful friendly service, amazing tasty food and fun relaxed atmosphere. Great to pop in even for a drink at the bar with some light bites!

Came for our 23rd anniversary - was lovely. Staff were fantastic and just the right amount of attentive. Food was delicious especially the salt cod balls!!!!! Everything was superb - lived and will return!!

Walking past this place it caught my eye and I thought why not try in here. I wasn’t disappointed. The service was brilliant from the time I walk in, and the food was delicious.

i ate here last night with my 3 sisters, we were all very impressed, the food was excellent and lots of choice too .my personal favourite was the Japanese beef, very tasty . the small plates are a decent size and enough for 2 to share. it was also very welcome to find Cava on the menu instead of the usual bog standard prosecco. Elizabeth, our server was really good, attentive, helpful and pleasant (probably laughing at 4 old biddies working our way through all that food and drink:) ) i would highly recommend Eden and hope they do very well , they deserve it.

We had the mac and cheese with the chicken and bacon and it was very tasty, the garlic bread was amazing too. Props to Pete(r) the chef and and the bar tender Kate was very friendly, was a pleasant meal with a nice chilled atmosphere. :)

Lovely atmosphere, was nice and chilled. Had a little mishap with the bill but was rectified immediately. Laura was our server, absolutely first class service! Polite , kind and couldn't do enough for us . Food was really nice and filling. We enjoyed our visit x

Wow! Just popped in with some friends to grab a bite to eat and a couple of drinks. I have to say The Moor Top and its staff Britt and Mitch are a true credit to Heaton Moor. Great food and even greater company! We will definitely be returning 👍

This is a nice venue and it is bigger than I anticipated. The food was good but the service is absolutely brilliant. The staff really go out of their way to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.

Delicious food, great cocktails and lovely atmosphere. Great Christmas deal on at the moment - 3 courses for £15.95 (£18.95 if you choose one of the more expensive meat options). Will definitely be going back to try the regular menu!

We went for my son's birthday on a Sunday afternoon, service was clear and great, food was some of the best Tapas and Turkish we have ever had,lots of choice and highly recommended

Had Christmas lunch today absolutely gorgeous. Worth every penny,. Food delicious, staff very friendly and attentive definitely will be returning in the future. We'll done, oh fabulous price for Christmas menu.

Arrived with my parents for a late lunch. We all ordered from the lunch menu, 2 courses or 3 course option. This menu is also really good value. The food was all hot, fresh and delicious. We were served promptly and nothing was too much trouble. There wasn't much atmosphere as the pub was quiet but this is probably different at other times of the day.

Came here for a random pub lunch. Large car park around the back. Inside was very well presented and we found a great selection of drinks. We had 2 courses from the lunch menu and it was all absolutely amazing! We Will definitely be coming back again. Great staff. Great atmosphere/chilled music selection and great food and drink.

Previously known as 'The Frog & Railway' due to its proximity to the Heaton Mersey railway station that was closed in the 1960s, 'The Heaton' under its current management has a very good selection of food. We arrived at 12.00 so were served straight away. I had the cheeseboard as a starter and fish pie as the main. The fish pie was really good much better than what you would get in a supermarket - lots of fish rather than mainly potato. The crème brûlée was a very generous portion. Although the main road is very busy there is ample parking at the back just head for St John's Church.

We went in for mothers day and we were not disappointed. On entering it's like stepping into a time warp but don't let that put you off. The food was absolutely superb, good portion size. The service was amazing also and staff were very friendly. Fantastic value for money also. We will definitely be returning! ❤️💚

Headed in to this beautiful Italian last night for a quick stop. Amazing service and prompt, delicious Carbonara, creamy and flavorsome! Really clean restaurant and chef was chatty and really friendly. Superb all around my friend had a pizzas which was really good. Would defiantly recommend to family and friends and will be returning ! Cheers Guys!

My wife and I visited this pub for the second time yesterday having had a really good meal there a few weeks ago. We had high expectations and were not disappointed. There is an extensive menu catering for most tastes and the meals come out hot and well presented. On both occasions there has been a friendly atmosphere and we have randomly struck up conversations with people at neighbouring tables. The staff are professional and efficient with Shane in particular being very friendly and down to earth. If you are taking your furry friend then be prepared to witness Shane down on his knees giving him/her all his love and attention (as he did with Molly.) For a manager to do this speaks volumes as , in my experience, if the management is happy and friendly this is then passed down to the staff. We are hoping to visit in the evening very soon so we can sample some of the well stocked bar. Highly recommended for a pleasant couple of hours in the afternoon. Read less

Nice pub with a great selection of beer and ales. food was pub classics done well, nothing ground breaking but there not trying to be. Service was great and attentive.

Family Meal - Just perfect place I took my family here since they were visiting. The seating area was beautiful, the service was brilliant, drinks were great. The food was delicious and there were so many great options to choose from. My family were really chuffed! Could not recommend enough!
