Enjoyed a mixture of dishes from the lunch menu consisting of small and large plates, and the specials of the day, brown crab rarebit and skate wing. Everything we ordered were skillfully cooked and delicious. The courgette fritters we didn't expect it to be with chilli flakes, but it was tasty if you like a hint of heat. Recommend the mussels and blanchbait too!

Food is sensational. Semi-open kitchen gives great confidence. Service, brilliant. One of the best meals I've ever had. EDIT: And, another fantastic meal at EF. Seafood platter, this time. Preceded by oystersat a small bite, and stafters of Cod cheeks & Makerel. Never disappoints.

Excellent choice, very lucky to get a walk-in booking on a Saturday afternoon, we chose from the lunchtime menu, a range of dishes at £16 each, this is slightly more than your local, however, the food is exceptional, the restaurant presents as a cafe to the rear of the Fishmonger, however, it has the feel of a Ramsey kitchen, very clean, professional and fresh, this is our second visit, I would be tempted to try from the specials menu as these change, seasonally.. or maybe daily? It was Skate Wing, however for lunch, it seemed much.. but certainly, for the evening meal it looked like a great option, Battered Fish and Chips looked great too. We went here tonight for our son’s birthday, we booked online which was really simple and received a lovely welcome. The food was really tasty and the service was fab. Really friendly and quick service. We would all highly recommend. Give it a whirl! 😋

Brought my family to this place and was stunned by the great service. Food looks very good and taste good, with a great price! It might be a little salty to some people like us, like Asians. But overall we had a great dinner here, highly recommended.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The atmosphere was positive, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The pizza and pasta were both delicious and served warm. I also enjoyed a delightful dessert. Everything was perfect! The dishes were served promptly, without any delays, and the prices were very reasonable.

Faultless. Astonishing old style pub with separate areas and fires blazing in their grates against a grey, wet and miserable afternoon. Beautiful Robinson's ales and it's thanks to them I visited this afternoon.

The Arden has a good reputation for it's food and deservedly so. £12.50 for a roast of this quality isn't common these days, and it's one that satisfies. The other options on the menu have never failed us either

We had the mac and cheese with the chicken and bacon and it was very tasty, the garlic bread was amazing too. Props to Pete(r) the chef and and the bar tender Kate was very friendly, was a pleasant meal with a nice chilled atmosphere. :)

Wow! Just popped in with some friends to grab a bite to eat and a couple of drinks. I have to say The Moor Top and its staff Britt and Mitch are a true credit to Heaton Moor. Great food and even greater company! We will definitely be returning 👍

Big pub, went for Sunday roast. Good quality, decent sized portions, fair price. A few too many TVs showing football but found a table away from screens. Service with a smile from Katie, much appreciated.

Nice addition to Heaton moor!! Good vibes, we would deffo go back! Portions are big, it suggested 2-3 plates each so we got two each plus fries and were stuffed. Could share 3 plates between two people. Dietary info clearly displayed. Would love if they started a cocktail menu.

Walking past this place it caught my eye and I thought why not try in here. I wasn’t disappointed. The service was brilliant from the time I walk in, and the food was delicious.

Such a stunning restaurant, warm and inviting. We had the Sunday Sharing Platter which was huge and had everything we wanted. Denise, our server was lovely and friendly and gave us detailed information about what we were ordering. We will definitely be returning as there is plenty more on the menu we want to try.

The steak is excellent. I had the 30-day 9oz rump (so towards the lower end of the price range), cooked rare, and it was fantastic. Together with the beef dripping sauce and seasoned fries, it was a winning combination. So just goes to show you don't need to spend a fortune. The service was also excellent - they have obviously tried hard to make it an experience and the interior is warm and spacious. The only gripes were that we were waiting for around 5 minutes at the front desk on arrival - and passed several times without an acknowledgement - which did not get us off to a good start. However, all staff were very polite and professional, and our waiter was particularly attentive and I would go as far as to say an asset to the establishment. The sign outside about dress code, and reiterated when booking online, makes a little bit too much of a point - which inadvertantly sends the wrong message I fear. The ambience and class of the place, and of the food, should be the focus and able to speak for itself no matter what customers choose to wear. A note to the management - if it feels special, customers will of course dress accordingly!

Lovely meal . Dawn was our waitress she was fantastic it was our first experience at miller and carter and she went over the menu with us and made some great recommendations. Dawn was really helpful friendly and attentive

I booked a night at the hotel and the rooms are excellent. Check in was simple and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room decor is high end and it has all the extras you’d need, free Wi-Fi, parking, ironing board etc. The rooms are only accessible by stairs, I didn’t see a lift, so that could limit visitors with mobility issues. The bed was incredibly comfortable and a firm, great quality mattress, which was well received. I didn’t eat in the restaurant, so was unable to rate the food.

Absolutely fantastic food and brilliant service. We visited this evening and the staff were absolutely fantastic and incredibly welcoming from start to finish. Every dish was absolutely delicious, especially the rump steak. Really recommend this spot and can’t wait to return 🥰 I recently also had the roast as well as the new menu and it was just as incredible!

Lovely evening at the ‘Burbs celebrating our anniversary. Everything we ordered was delicious and we had great service from Roxy. She was really friendly and recommended an amazing creamy sausage tagliatelle special. We’ll definitely be back again - what a hidden gem!

Discovered this hidden gem while looking for a light lunch. We came with a dog, which was welcome on the curbside veranda. There are outside heaters, which were very welcome end of October, we'll make for the inside next time. Menu looks great, particularly impressed with the selection of drinks and cocktails and the fact there is actually Bermuda rum in the Dark & Stormy. Service was prompt and attentive. We had Tortilla chips with a delicious trio of salsas Chipotle black beans, which were scrumptious Smoky mushroom Tacos, very unusual, I liked them but a step too far for my daughter, who buried herself in Birria Tacos, which were excellent and she felt rivalled her favourite Don Taco's. In summary, we'll be back, definitely for Taco Tuesdays and after the sun is over the yard arm with serious intent for the cocktails.

Came for our 23rd anniversary - was lovely. Staff were fantastic and just the right amount of attentive. Food was delicious especially the salt cod balls!!!!! Everything was superb - lived and will return!!

Atmosphere was through the roof, service was impeccable and really lovely and the food was banging. We went on a cantina evening, the new dishes were delectable whilst the usual dishes were great as ever. Defo would recommend!!

Nipped in after a visit to the Cork of the North wine bar. The restaurant was bustling and lively Ordered a sharing platter to start and some tapas to follow. All of the food was excellent, the staff attentive and helpful. They provided some great tips on the what was in the platter against our tapas choices. Overall more than happy to recommend and I'm keen to go back.

First ever visit to this small tapas restaurant. Four of us plus Madge reserved a post cinema table. Shared a bottle of wine and several dishes. All very good from calamari, ribs, meatballs, chicken to salad, tortilla, goat cheese balls, patatas bravas and bread. About £75. Toilets up some steep steps. Some outdoor seating in front but no use on a typical August bank holiday Sunday.

We enjoyed the food here. The staff are all Spanish, which was a good sign. The restaurant is small and you might struggle to find a table at busy times. The tapas ranged from excellent to ok - which is the only reason for not awarding the full five stars. There were plenty of appealing dishes in the menu, plus daily specials, that we could have ordered. Highlights were the croquettes and the churos. Overall, it was a good experience.

Wonderful Spanish restaurant in Heaton Moor. A great menu with most of your favourite tapas dishes. The food was really nice and hot when it was served. The staff were lovely. Would recommend.
