Can’t recommend it enough.Fantastic food best I’ve tasted in a long time.We had a party of 15 and we’re all served together no one was left waiting and food was served piping hot. Staff were friendly and welcoming ,also no rush after we had finished to leave. Definitely go again and recommend to friends.

A great local Italian restaurant, all the staff are excellent, very friendly and give great service. Have a good menu. choice of dishes is great and the food very tasty. Highly recommend if your in the area, but be sure to book, as gets very busy!

I visited Giovanni's with my wife for the first time on Sat 25th Jan 2025, having made the reservation online a few days prior. When we got there we almost didn't get to eat as all the water in the area had been switched off due to an ongoing issue, however, pity was taken on us and we were the last ones allowed to dine. The food was absolutely delicious, they don't try too hard to make everything fancy, it's just good, honest, hearty food at a decent price. The service was also amazing and we ended up having a great time, chatting with the owner/manager about the water issues among other things. It was a shame for the business that all other bookings had to be cancelled, we were the last to leave and just as we were settling the bill the water was switched back on. Not a great night for Giovanni's but still a great experience for us, we will definitely return again soon.

Just ordered for the first time, a little nervously given the early negative reviews, but am happy to say the whole order was delicious. I can see this becoming our new go-to takeaway and I'm looking forward to testing some other dishes in the future.

1 of the best family run takeaways in the northwest. Orders are always CORRECT, piping hot, and on time. All the staff are super friendly and seem to have worked there for donkeys years. The kitchen is immaculate, and the taste, quality & food portions are exceptional. Highly recommended this place.

Really quick service. Really nice food. I just wished they could do their hotest dishes a little bit hotter. But they are still very, very tasty. I recommend using them.

Amazing food and service. Tried papadam, mixed starter, lamb korai, garlic - coriander nan, special mixed biryani. Definitely more delicious comparing to traditional Indian restaurants. Highly recommended.

Love this place. It's a very traditional and authentic place, takes me back to the 90s in a good way! They adjusted my husbands dietary requirements with precision as he can't eat vegetable_sunflower oils so they only used Ghee at our request and checked regularly that my husband was okay. Lovely and very accommodating staff. Don't be afraid to ask if you require any adjustments!

We ordered delivery from here for the first time last night. The food was amazing - the best curry we've had in a long time. The customer service was excellent too. What a hidden gem! We just didn't realise what an amazing place was within walking distance to us. We will be visiting the restaurant soon and Kakoli will be our go to for take -aways. Highly recommended.

What a place over 30 years old ! A little gem set in Droyslden Tameside! Tram stop & bus stops if you don’t want to drive . This place has been updated & upgraded the staff have worked hard to make it relaxing atmosphere to eat in . The food is cooked to perfection Indian food is beautiful & well spiced and well plated these guys do all that ! Menu is very affordable & easy to follow click on their link get 20% off take away ! The BEST chippy I have ever been too, I travel half hour just to go to this one, the food is gorgeous especially the gravy! A lovely family run business that has been around for many many years

Found a live pikachu in the packet of chips. Althought it was quite cute, I was very hungry after I finished the chips. Soooooo... I made sure it was dead by decapitating it with my house keys before I gobbled it down. Now my body feels weird and I feel jolts of electricity every now and then. In conclusion, I had a great experience with this chippy and you should come here if you want some superhero powers.

We have just moved into the area and decided to take a chance on this place after a long day of unpacking. What a wonderful evening we had! We were greeted and served by Luize, Kate, and Sue who were all very warm, welcoming, and inviting. The food was gorgeous and exactly what we needed, and the atmosphere was great (I'm an 80s child and to hear lots of the music of the time was just the icing on the cake for me). Firmly think this will be one of our favourite places for the foreseeable future! Thank you guys for making a very hard day that much more bearable!

Well decorated and attractive pub and it appears that they've incorporated a lot of the previous building such as stone flagstones and tiles in to the pub. The staff were friendly and the meals we had were excellent. Unfortunately though, as non lager drinkers there is no cask ale. Not even any bottles of ale so we had Guinness which was far too cold. After finishing our meal we left to go for a decent pint of bitter elsewhere. Such a shame because it's a lovely pub.

Came here for a birthday lunch and the food did not disappoint, not only were the portion sizes generous but it was equally as delicious. Service was very slow for a Wednesday lunch time waiting 25 minutes for food and my brother ordering 10 minutes after us waiting 45 minutes for food. Other than that, food is great and drinks went down nicely.

Just popped into this pub for a break and a soft drink, and while we were in their we grabbed some food, and WOW, it was lovely tasted fantastic good prices and the service was second to none, Thanks to all the Staff and see you all soon.

From the moment we entered we were greeted with smiles from staff. They were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The food was out of this world and by far the best food i've had in ages. I will 100% be going back.

Good quality. May seem pricey, but good sized portions. Clean presentation. Ordered the chicken sizzler with cheese and 3 sides. The dish was tasty.. Cheesy chicken pasta- my fave, so creamy and lush. Chicken wings, which if yr into wings, they're a good size and not measly tiny ones that are gone in one bite. The decor and detail is impeccable. Wild west feelz for sure The service was speedy, and there are plenty of staff around.

We had a lovely evening at Howdy’s. We were met at the door by a gentleman potentially named Meelan, he was welcoming, friendly and patient while the kids squealed in excitement and asked him lots of questions. He gave each child a cowboy hat to wear and let us take photo’s in the entryway without rushing us to our table. Once seated we were served by a couple of different staff members who were all attentive and friendly, we really couldn’t fault the customer service. The food was incredible and the portions seemed really generous. What an unexpected little treasure trove of a place, everywhere you turned there was another neon sign or cowboy themed display.

Great atmosphere, however it was very busy when we arrived at 5.30pm. There were quite a few families with young children and quite a few birthday celebrations. By 6.30pm, it became quieter. Seating is in a booth. There is also a table that has jail above it, which is great for the kids, and there are a few different photo opportunities near the entrance. Because it was busy when we arrived, it took around 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive and 40 minutes for our food. They do not serve alcohol. They have Mocktails and soft drinks only. The food was great, good portions and the price was reasonable too. I'm vegetarian, and there was the usual halloumi starter and burger main. I had the vegetarian burger, but from the description on the menu, I was expecting something like a Beyond meat burger. So I was slightly disappointed when it was the basic vegetable burger. With that said, it was still very tasty with the sauce that came with it. They also brought a goblet to the table that created smoke. I'm not sure the reason for this, maybe to add to the ambience. We will go again, but maybe after 6.30pm.

Went for the Valentine’s Day special, 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £31! Was not disappointed!! 🙌🏻 Fantastic value for money. We originally stopped for dinner on our way home to Chesterfield from Manchester and really enjoyed the food, so I reserved this and we drove the hour and a half for our night out. I can’t recommend this place enough! The service and atmosphere are just right. They will not disappoint.

We stopped by for dinner after the ballet in Manchester and was absolutely delighted!! The were able to seat us and the atmosphere is fantastic!! The food was so good!! Great value for money. I had the lasagna and my husband had the chicken skewer. Both were fantastic and we plan on returning to try more dishes! We started with the breaded mushrooms and I was. Soooo happy they were perfect and great!! Highly recommended!!!

I’m not usually one for going out for Christmas Dinner but I’m so glad I did. The pub was beautifully decorated and felt really festive. We had already been asked what choices we wanted and after being seated, the first course came, table cleared quickly, then the mains and finally dessert - but never felt rushed. The food was lovely, the staff really friendly and festive and it was a real treat! Will definitely be visiting again. Thanks for making our Christmas Day!!

I had sirloin steak and my husband had a mix grill. Both meals were cooked to very high standards. The steak was tender and tasty and the whole meals were set out tastefully . Staff very friendly and helpful

Decent place for both dine in and takeaway food at a good price and good fair portions. Love the king kebab enough for 2 it's pan fried in a masala sauce which adds to the flavour. Never had a bad meal and the staff are pleasant enough. Worth a visit.

Really nice food but order not complete, come without the chips. Curry was still lovely though and enjoyed but wanted the chips with it, obviously paid for what we didn't get too, checked my order and we have paid, no way to complain.
