Having a few problems with Rats in the roof space and under the house. I used traps (with peanut butter) in the roof and caught 3 within a week. All went quiet for a while until I noticed the scurrying and gnawing returned and found our food cupboard had been raided. That was enough, so I called Jack from The Pest Company and he was straight on the job with an assessment and a plan of action. Within an hour he had scanned our semi detached bungalow and next door too, laid traps and gave advice. Jack said he would return in two weeks. For those two weeks we didn't hear anything and found he had caught a large rat when he returned. Jack came back again (after another 2 weeks) and I gave him the good news that it was still quiet and the traps were clean. A five Star rating for the excellent and professional service Jack provided. He gave us 3 timed appointments and was here bang on time every time and was always available when calling for advice. Its been 6 week now and still blissfully quiet. Thank you, The Pest Company and Jack, you are a gem. Dave.

What an incredible service! Jack was extremely professional and polite. He kept me updated when he would be arriving. He helped us to get rid of a difficult to reach wasp nest. He knew exactly how to reach the nest and dealt with it quickly. Highly recommended! Thank you Jack.

Having spotted pigeons showing an interest in gathering under our recently-installed solar panels, I explored the internet to find local companies with experience in fitting exclusion netting, and also to compare prices. I approached The Pest Company because of the level of information available on their website, in particular their knowledge and training with regard to the legal and humane aspects of bird nest removal. Whilst other quotes were cheaper, the level of information on the website gave me confidence in making the choice. Jack was quick in responding to my initial request for a quote, and he answered my queries quickly, which was reassuring. We arranged a date for the fitting of bird wiring around our solar panels and he arrived on time. Jack and his colleague Liam were friendly and cheerful. We were impressed by their approach to health and safety whilst at work. The installation was fitted within the quoted timescale and it is unobtrusive to look at. The only disappointed ones around were the pigeons. I would recommend Jack and Liam for their speedy response to potential customers and their cheerful, professional approach. Good job done. Thanks!

I went to do my level 2 in pest management. It was really easy to find from the park and ride car park. The people working there are really nice and friendly which is good and helped settle the nerves. I'm looking forward to going back for more training/exams.

I had an issue with pigeons nesting and making all a lot of mess and noise loudly cooing all day and night on the inaccessible veranda/roof area of my top floor flat. Mr Blackhouse & son came to inspect then a few days later to clear the area and set up spikes and netting. They were super friendly and respectful of my home, came on time and got the job done in short time. Afterwards I inspected their work. The whole area was clean and the netting looks very neat as you can see in the picture. That was around a week ago and I have not heard or seen a pigeon out there since. Would happily use them again and I can highly recommend their services.

Had some great feedback from some clients regarding M J Backhouse for a job i had asked them to do. The issue was dealt with promptly with great communication which has been appreciated by myself,and the clients. and they could not be happier with the fast results. looking forward to working with them in the future, its nice to receive good feedback for a contractors.

Would highly recommend, they responded quickly and were very professional. The engineer even checked my drains outside to rule out any access points. Poison was placed and after 2 days the noises in the loft stopped. 2more check visits confirmed we were clear. Great service & very helpful !!!

Ryan and his team provide excellent services for pest control. We recently had a rat visit us and these guys did a great job of looking at the entire property and area to indenting how he rat was existing the sewers and getting into our property before applying preventative measures. On request, they also steam cleaned out carpets throughout to ensure the house was cleaned throughly. These guys are really easy to deal with and very friendly. I wish more companies had their enthusiasm and professional outlook.

I can not speak highly enough about the service from DGYL and especially Ryan. He visited the property the same day and identified the issue after a thorough inspection. The point of entry was secured as well as making sure the rodent was removed from the property as quickly as possible. This was all after being robbed of over £300 from a pest control company called ERG (please avoid!) for a 10 minute visit and only the placement of poison. Thank you Ryan and all at DGYL.
