When my kitchen light died I was in dire need of an electrician. Fortunately Dan was recommended to me by a neighbour who explained that whilst he had not had occasion to use his services he had been highly recommended. On contacting Dan I quickly found out that the recommendation was very accurate. He dealt with my problem in a timely manner ( I was fortunate to have same day service) supplying and fitting a new fixture that afternoon. I cannot speak more highly of the service I received or of Dan himself as he was clearly a very conscientious person. I thoroughly recommend him to anybody reading this review

I recently referred Dan Evans of Big Green Electrical to a key contact. Dan was brought in to install some spotlights in the hallway of a flat. It was not a straightforward job as access above the ceiling was severely restricted. In particular, a large water tank sat directly above a key area of the ceiling that needed spotlights. Dan arrived on time, presented professionally. He took time to listen carefully to the customer’s requirements and made some key recommendations based on his experience to ensure that the finished result was optimum. Once the brief was agreed, Dan worked efficiently and tirelessly without stopping for even a five minute break to get the job done. He completed the job ahead of time and ensured that the customer was satisfied that she had got the ‘wow’ factor in her hallway, which she had – it looked fantastic.

Daniel and the Big Green Electrical Company have been outstanding. When I was planning and building my new house I really wanted to work with a solar provider that would work with me to understand my wider electrical requirements and design a solar system to match. Working with Daniel he designed a system to utilise the maximum amount of roof space on the house with 25 solar panels using an in roof GSE tray system for a neat look. This also saved money on roof tiles! It uses a Solaredge 8 KW 3 phase hybrid inverter with DC coupled battery storage and a home backup system that keeps the house running even in a grid loss. The system is making ample solar and has already generated over £800 (2.2 MW) in 2 months which has take a massive bite out of the electrical cost of running a large new build property complete with heat pumps, car chargers, batter Nothing has been too much trouble and he has helped with advice and guidance around other electrical elements of the house, working closely with the main contractor and electricians to ensure everything worked well together. Following the completion of the install he has been diligent with all the certificates, paperwork, handover pack and also helped deal with the DNO when they have been less than helpful. DRS Electrical came highly recommended in the village I live from multiple sources, and it's clear to see why. Their customer service was exemplary and I truly appreciated their patience of explaining and talking through all the issues with me as a layman and little experience of electrics. The work done was great, quick, professional and the electrician they sent round (Noah) was courteous and respectful of our home. Also dealt with Sam their manager, who took the time out to talk through wider concerns we had in our home and on other issues we might have had. All in all felt that DRS went above and beyond - they're a great company and I'd highly recommend them.

Having just downsized I was anxious for an electrician to complete several tasks at my new home. I phoned 10 from various advertised sites and only 2 answered my call; one could start in 2 months time whilst the only other one actually arrived 2 days later. Samsum and his team were brilliant. They worked with our builder on our extension and renovation. From they time of quoting to where we are now, nearly finished, they have been exceptional. We told them what we wanted and nothing was too much trouble. Offered great advice on fitting etc and was able to arrange for alarm system to be installed. Also added few extras that we changed during the build process. The finish was better than the products we had identified. Planning and attention to detail was wonderful. Few things done without cost as this provided a better outcome. Wonderful. Samsum also shared my liking for gadgets and technology and nice to see someone in the trade show a true passion for their work and also for the outcome the client gets. I think there was some TV envy!!! Wifi works like a dream, OLED tv has pride of place in the living room, so much so that I cannot get to watch it as the kids seem to like it so much. Understandable delays caused by Covid were never and issue as Samsun would keep updated daily if needed. If there is every anything further we need doing, then Samsun and his team will be the only people we call. It was a pleasure to have Samsun and the SG Electrical Team in our house and we are so pleased with the end product.

My wife and I recently undertook a full house renovation on our cottage in Weybridge and SG Electrical oversaw absolutely everything related to the electrics. This included a full rewire of the house but also the installation of CAT-6 data cables and access points to improve the home Wi-Fi and a smart home heating system. From first meeting with them, they took us through the whole home advising on where best to place sockets and switches and their expertise was obvious from this point. We were extremely impressed with their knowledge of modern technology and how to implement it across the home. We followed their advice happily - and are very glad we did. Samsun and his team did the electrics for our loft extension. Samsun was great - he came on site at the beginning and helped us worked out where plugs and lights should go. He came back to check on progress and kept in touch throughout the process. His guys, especially Kieran, were great. Really professional, respectful and very easy to work with. We asked Samsun to help us with an extra very small job ages after the loft was finished and Kieran came out the next week and fixed it immediately. I have been let down or not had calls returned by so many tradesmen over recent years, it’s like they just can’t be bothered with smaller jobs even though they still charge loads. This morning I realised my 30amp fuse was tripping meaning no dishwasher or washing machine and power to outbuilding. I found this company and called, Sam was with me within an hour, not only did he solve that issue, he also fixed a kitchen socket after running several tests and a bedroom light, he is truly professional and knowledgeable and also really polite and easy going. I will definitely be using him going forward and can’t recommend him enough, today could have been a nightmare but ended up being very successful and stress free, thank you very much Sam.

Samar provided an excellent service from the initial enquiry, the question and quote stage, and on the day of installation. Samar remained on site from installing the EV charger right through to ensuring it was recognised by the HIVE app. He didn’t leave the site until the charger was useable which involved contacting HIVE multiple times and logging into the laptop to manage the options and set up. Samar also made a very neat job of both the inside electrics as well as on the exterior, avoiding any visible wires. This was much appreciated as this would have shown on the white render. All paperwork and certificates followed through on the same day. I couldn’t recommend Samar more highly.
