Spoke to Mark about electrical issue at home, after walking me through some things to try he then booked Paul to come out next morning. Paul then sorted it. Good local company to use, don’t bother with the national companies. Highly recommend

What a great guy! Called and spoke to Mark on Monday am, after all sockets kept tripping out and had already done a few things to find the problem. He could have charged to come out but instead talked me through a process to find the fault - all sorted in a call. He even called me back to check that I’d sorted it myself. No charge! Unheard of - highly recommend, great service.

I called Mark on a Saturday late afternoon after getting home to find none of the switches worked & no heating, as we were going to an awards evening in two hours we were desperate to get it working. Mark was excellent & talked through various things for us to try, after trying numerous things unsuccessfully, he came straight to us as soon as he finished the job he was doing ( 5pm Saturday ) . He quickly found the problem & got us back on & able to get the heating & sockets back on & suggested things to help prevent the problem happening again. I would not hesitate to recommend Mark & Newton Electrical.

Samar provided an excellent service from the initial enquiry, the question and quote stage, and on the day of installation. Samar remained on site from installing the EV charger right through to ensuring it was recognised by the HIVE app. He didn’t leave the site until the charger was useable which involved contacting HIVE multiple times and logging into the laptop to manage the options and set up. Samar also made a very neat job of both the inside electrics as well as on the exterior, avoiding any visible wires. This was much appreciated as this would have shown on the white render. All paperwork and certificates followed through on the same day. I couldn’t recommend Samar more highly.

I have been let down or not had calls returned by so many tradesmen over recent years, it’s like they just can’t be bothered with smaller jobs even though they still charge loads. This morning I realised my 30amp fuse was tripping meaning no dishwasher or washing machine and power to outbuilding. I found this company and called, Sam was with me within an hour, not only did he solve that issue, he also fixed a kitchen socket after running several tests and a bedroom light, he is truly professional and knowledgeable and also really polite and easy going. I will definitely be using him going forward and can’t recommend him enough, today could have been a nightmare but ended up being very successful and stress free, thank you very much Sam.

Had to leave a review for these guys as I can’t recommend them enough!! Done some small jobs for me in the past but finally took the leap and got solar panels, he took us through the whole process and explained everything, the lads are all really polite and respectful. Samsun and his team did the electrics for our loft extension. Samsun was great - he came on site at the beginning and helped us worked out where plugs and lights should go. He came back to check on progress and kept in touch throughout the process. His guys, especially Kieran, were great. Really professional, respectful and very easy to work with. We asked Samsun to help us with an extra very small job ages after the loft was finished and Kieran came out the next week and fixed it immediately. Thank you Samsun and the team for such a positive experience.

Samsum and his team were brilliant. They worked with our builder on our extension and renovation. From they time of quoting to where we are now, nearly finished, they have been exceptional. We told them what we wanted and nothing was too much trouble. Offered great advice on fitting etc and was able to arrange for alarm system to be installed. Also added few extras that we changed during the build process. The finish was better than the products we had identified. Planning and attention to detail was wonderful. Few things done without cost as this provided a better outcome. Wonderful. Samsum also shared my liking for gadgets and technology and nice to see someone in the trade show a true passion for their work and also for the outcome the client gets. I think there was some TV envy!!! Wifi works like a dream, OLED tv has pride of place in the living room, so much so that I cannot get to watch it as the kids seem to like it so much. Understandable delays caused by Covid were never and issue as Samsun would keep updated daily if needed. If there is every anything further we need doing, then Samsun and his team will be the only people we call. It was a pleasure to have Samsun and the SG Electrical Team in our house and we are so pleased with the end product.

I can't recommend Dominic enough! Completed a full rewire of our 4 bed house within a week (as he estimated) and as quoted, providing all certification promptly. Incredibly helpful answering all my questions beforehand and during, and updated me after each day how he'd got on. Came back after we'd plasterered and decorated (much later than planned) to fit decorative sockets, switches and pendants, all under the original scope. If all tradespeople were like Dominic, renovating houses would be so straightforward! Would recommend him to anyone seeking a helpful and competent electrician.

I used Helsdown electrical and their sister company GDH fire and security, to make safe, replace & install some electrical goods. I was more than happy with the professionalism and work from Tyler and George. Can’t recommend enough!

George, Dave and Tyler were involved in the process from the beginning and explained what was needed and the costs. The first day was for electrical testing and fitting a new timer and thermostat. The second and third days were remedial work to obtain an electrical installation certificate. There was a problem with the timer due to the old gravity fed heating system that I have but the problem was explained and a solution found for the problem. All were easy to talk to, polite and helpful.
