We‘d been having some issues with our heating & lighting for a while and previous electricians and plumbers did a quick fix that didn’t work. We found Tom on Google and after reading the good reviews, gave him a call. He identified the problem straight away and did a great job of re-wiring everything. He was very thorough with his work, explaining what he was doing all along and left everything very tidy at the end. We’d definitely recommend for any electrical work and will be using him moving forward.

Just had my EICR done by Tom at Efficient Electrics and I’m super satisfied. Tom was professional from the start and the inspection was done thoroughly & with care. We asked Helsdown Electrical Contractors to carry out an EIHC and subsequently took them up on their quote to fix the issues identified. The work was completed to a very high standard by George, Tyler and Dave, all of whom demonstrated exceptional professionalism and dedication. Any questions we had were answered with patience and clarity. At every stage our options were clearly laid out and they took care to ensure we would be happy with the final result. I would strongly recommend them.

Very impressed with the service I received. Have had an ongoing electrical fault. When I contacted Helsdown, they clearly communicated what they would do and the costs involved. George arrived and quickly identified and remedied the fault, he also repaired a broken socket and gave some advice on testing. Work was very clean, tidy and efficient. I have rebooked them to do some further work after receiving another clear and informative quote.

George, Dave and Tyler were involved in the process from the beginning and explained what was needed and the costs. The first day was for electrical testing and fitting a new timer and thermostat. The second and third days were remedial work to obtain an electrical installation certificate. There was a problem with the timer due to the old gravity fed heating system that I have but the problem was explained and a solution found for the problem. All were easy to talk to, polite and helpful.

I used Helsdown electrical and their sister company GDH fire and security, to make safe, replace & install some electrical goods. I was more than happy with the professionalism and work from Tyler and George. Can’t recommend enough!
