I can’t thank Byron and the SES Electrical Contractors team enough! After waking up to no electricity in the house, I spent hours calling other electricians but couldn’t find anyone available. Thankfully, I was recommended SES Electrical, and from the moment I spoke to Byron, the service was amazing. He kindly offered to troubleshoot the issue over the phone before arranging a visit, patiently guiding me through a few steps and helping me resolve the issue myself! Byron visited us to help diagnose a fault we've been having with our oven. He was courteous, efficient and communicative throughout explaining his findings in an easy to understand way. He has provided consistently excellent service in the past helping us diagnose a problem with the electrics of our boiler over the phone and assisting in the sourcing and installation of a range hood. We are delighted and relieved to have connected with SES Electrical Contractors, which has systematically sorted out a number of overdue issues with electrical installations including emergency lighting, fire alarm systems and most recently adding motion-sensor lighting for the communal staircase. Wolff was very quick and responsive on his communications. He has done EICR certification which required a new consumer box. He has documented all faults and made sure all are safe and sound before leave the job. I am happy to use him again and highly recommend him. His rate is also very competitive and reasonable.

Chas came out to sort out what transpired to be a faulty plug on my wall radiator which blew. He was very thorough and checked everything. Looked at my fuseboard and gave me good advice on that as well. Safety is key! He is a very experienced and up to date with current Gov regulations. Found him to be approachable, friendly, honest and up front. Highly recommend him!

Tentacle Electrical came out within 15 minutes when I couldn’t reset my RCD on a Friday afternoon. Chas identified the fault which was fortunately something that could be isolated. He recommended a new consumer unit as mine was over 30 years old. He returned to fit that last week and carry out some remedial work. He was friendly, turned up when he said he would and carried out the work efficiently and left everything neat and tidy. Would recommend and definitely use for any future electrical work.

I was very impressed with Benjamin from the outset. He called me back straight away (on the weekend) when I couldn’t originally get through. He is articulate and organised and answered all the questions I had. He requested the information he needed which I provided and he promptly came back with a quote. He turned up on time, and communicated with me throughout the whole three week process from appointment confirmation to performing an EIC and then returning to rectify the issues he found. He brought a polite and competent team with him to do the work. Whilst it was not cheap, his prices are transparent on the website and I believe he was worth every penny as he gave me reassurance that he and his team had performed a thorough job. I was very impressed with the professionalism and work of Benjamin and his crew. Benjamin takes the time to explain in detail what the problem is and how it will be fixed, giving options. Because of the extent of the work, I had 5 workers in the house and all of them were polite, clean and respectful. Benjamin responded promptly to sort out an emergency loss of power late on a very cold day. He was able to isolate the problem caused by some building work and restore our heating. I was impressed by the logical way he worked through the various possibilities to locate the fault. He visited again to repair the break in the lighting circuit, without damaging the ceiling. He also lengthened the main cable, in preparation for a smart meter being fitted. He communicated well with us, explaining exactly what was needed at each stage. His assistants Matt and then Nick were polite and efficient too.

I couldn’t be more impressed with the service from start to finish. Faultless. I called up with what I feared would be a difficult job given the light I wanted installed weighed 2 stone, but the appointment was made for the following day and the team dealt with the installation efficiently and in a friendly manner.
