VDM exceeded our expectations providing cost effective and rapid re-roofing of our flat roof, all the necessary detailing of surrounding tile work, lead flashings and the replacement of an existing roof light were taken care of, they even repointed some brick work which needed looking at without having to be asked. Two chimney stacks were leaking water into the attic even after a previous roofer had supposedly fixed the problem. VDM have now done an excellent job: the stacks look much smarter and there are no more leaks.

Can’t recommend them enough. Had a leak roof problem that didn’t get fixed by the previous cowboy roofer. Kika roofer came identified the previous work wasn’t done, fixed the immediate problem and seen a few small issues that they fixed for free. Loved the fact that they take pictures and videos that show the problems before and after the works done. 5 stars rating from me. Quick response and the job was done next day! I had one missing tile and a couple of loose tiles which needed attention but it was difficult to get there to fix the problem because of the flatroof below which I didn't wanted it to be used for an access point to fix the roof tiles. Tomas reassured me that they would be using their own prefabricated platform to access to the roof area. His team Michael and John arrived next day and they repaired the roof tiles. Michael and John are very professional. They were polite, respected my property and left the place clean after they finished the work. Having tried 4 roofing companies over 2 weeks; 3 of which responded but didn't show up to arranged viewing, Thomas from Universal Roofing was the only one to reply, book to view, quote & get the work completed... all within 5 days! Couldn’t have been an easier process. David was great at answering all of my questions and giving me all the info I needed before making a decision. Had a new, replacement roof. I can’t fault it from start to finish. Offered choices, recommendations and reasons why not to do something. I asked about replacement insulation and they said it is old but didn’t need replacing. That tells me they are a company with integrity and honesty as they could have said yes and charged loads more. Adam and his team were fantastic. They replaced two flat roofs for us that were cracked and leaking, and fixed any other issues they found like the rotten ply wood under, some broken tiles and guttering brackets. Adam is very honest and kind, it’s a pleasure to work with a trustworthy trade. He was able to schedule us quickly knowing we had an active leak. Excellent service and quality of work. Attentive, friendly and diligent professional. Our roof was leaking, he knew exactly what was wrong by looking at the old roof (previous fibre glass workmanship was sub standard hence roof began to leak). They came around promptly, started and completed until all was done. He listened to what we wanted (take old roof off and start again) and carried out the job. Other roofers just wanted to go on the top, which was just putting a plaster on the problem. Good thing too, as it was rotting! Would definitely recommend. Give them a call and find out for yourself. A quote came through the same day and was very competitive. Sam & team started work the same week and completed the removal of the current flat roof fibreglass (which had cracked over three years and caused several leaks) then installed a felt flat roof system over 5 days.
