I had several quotes from people with regards to my work that was needed. Apart from this one from Thomas they were a bit windy, not giving a complete quote, said might be more work than quoted. I got a complete quote from Thomas. He turned up on time on the date given and he and his partner got on with it. They did a fantastic job front and back, no mess also fixed a couple of bits not quoted on. I can highly recommend them and would not have any problem in re employing them for any further work needed.

Very pleased with the Ikon team from start to finish. Jordan impressed from the outset with his use of a drone to take high level images of the repairs needed to our roof. All of the Ikon team were polite and professional and Jordan made sure we had assessments, photographs and detailed quotes for the repairs needed. As work progressed we were kept informed of progress and invited to inspect the quality of the work in person. On completion Ikon made sure the site was clean and tidy. Would recommend.

I called Yousef after a large leak in the roof following torrential rain. He was out the next day looking at it and by day three he had started work. A really good experience from start to finish. We had our flat roof replaced along with other repairs needed. There was excellent communication throughout the project from getting quotes right through to completion. We were promptly sent all the verified certificates. The team were hard working, polite and courteous and Andrew (project manager) is a true gentleman - a person with manners from a different era. I have used McDonald Roofing Contractors for three separate roofing jobs on a rather complicated roof - firstly replacing a box gutter and associated drainage, secondly replacing some lead work, and finally replacing half of the roof following my realisation that a previous roofer had only done half of the work paid for. Given all the cowboys out there it is reassuring to know a company who is professional, expert, tidy and efficient. I echo the praise of Kerry in the office, too! Delighted with the service and the end result.

John and his team did a complete new roof for our listed house and we were thrilled and delighted by McDonalds’ professionalism, honesty, hard work and, we’d go so far as to say, artistry. It is an absolutely beautiful job which we are still standing and staring at in admiration three weeks after it was finished. John even took the time to come over in person and reassure an over-anxious neighbour who was concerned (without any justification) about how our new roof would affect theirs.
