Apologies for this very overdue review. On 5th/6th November '24 Jonathan and his team refelted 2 dormers, repointed verge and ridge tiles and rendered a chimney stack. Throughout the time they were with us we were kept fully informed of the progress made. This was backed up by photos and video. From initial contact with Jonathan I was impressed with his professionalism and had total confidence in him. John and the team were super helpful and responsive to some issues we had with our roof. The team were really professional and were able to fix some slipped tiles and replace some missing tiles from our very old roof. This is the first winter of owning the property, so it's always the litmus test for seeing the condition of the roof and guttering. Nicky was great to liaise with to get an estimate and then arrange the job (we had to wait a couple of months but took that as a good sign); she kept us in the loop throughout. The quote set out a clear description of the works (unlike some of the others I received). Oliver was very good at communicating when they would arrive, was courteous throughout when making arrangements, and the team of five were on time, worked through the day with real commitment and focus, and did a very good job. I booked Blake’s Roofing to fix a leaky flat roof at our house in Hatch End. Oliver showed up and did the site survey and then the guys turned up and did the work. The price was great and the work was booked in and completed within a week of me asking. The work was completed in a morning and the roof looks great. The guys cleared up and left everything very neat.

Mummery & Sons made and fitted a custom built new skylight for our Church in Colindale, replacing a fifty year old one, and repairing the roofing around it. The quality and workmanship are outstanding, and guaranteed for ten years. So far, no leaks, in a roof that had been very problematic. They probably do cost a bit more than some other firms, but for the quality of work and the time it will last it is certainly value for money.

I found this company by chance on the net. What a brilliant little firm. Efficient, courtious, punctual and cheaper than other quotes I got for the work. I've given them five stars. But if there were six to give. I'd give tnem that too.

Tony along with his team have done a couple jobs for me. He does a wide range of things, be it gutter replacement, a completely new flat roof and more. He is always straight to the point and doesn't mess around, giving prices that are very generous and fair for the quality you recieve. Sometimes a service simply demands a good review. I've not had a lot of luck with roofers and have an old house with a troublesome old roof. Recent storms caused significant damage and i reached out to Mummery's in urgent need of work doing. Despite being very busy they went out of their way to come and view the issues within 24 hours of my contact. The quote was received the next day (it was far lower than another i had had) and the work was quickly booked and undertaken. The attending team were knowledgeable, polite and left the place perfectly clean as well as fixed! Companies like this last as long as they have for a reason! I will absolutely be using them again when needed.
