Paul and Brad renewed my roof and finished the job last week. From.the beginning Paul explained what was happening and when , the only delays were weather related (this year has been terrible for rain) But when they started they worked methodically, section by section. The finishing is excellent, I compare to others as I drive to work and have yet to see similar workmanship. Clearly the fact that Paul and Brad have 80 years experience between them clearly shows. When choosing or reviewing please be aware there are more than one company with the same name..( discovered this when trying to leave a review on trust a trader) so make sure you ask for Paul.

Paul with Mark carried out repairs to our roof which involved replacing broken tiles and patching the felt lining. He also repointed a brick chimney which had been in a poor state. Paul's solution was to repair the roof rather than completely strip and re line it (which another trader had offered to do) which has saved us a considerable amount of money and will hopefully last many years. A 5 year guarantee for the work was provided. I would be happy to recommend this company.

Paul was friendly and polite and super honest and with expectations. He explained how long he’s been in the business and I felt like I could trust him and he even took before and after pics and I’m glad I used Paul for the work and he will be coming back to do future work when we decide to do the whole roof. Will also be passing his details onto my friend. Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed.

Paul was great. I had several estimates all recommending lots of work. Paul was conservative with the work that was needed and gave me plenty of advice on how and when to look for issues with my roof myself going forward. He even held off doing some work in view of the weather (which I hadn’t checked and probably cost him a morning of work elsewhere). Honest, punctual, hardworking. So refreshing.

I called Yousef after a large leak in the roof following torrential rain. He was out the next day looking at it and by day three he had started work. John and the team were super helpful and responsive to some issues we had with our roof. The team were really professional and were able to fix some slipped tiles and replace some missing tiles from our very old roof. This is the first winter of owning the property, so it's always the litmus test for seeing the condition of the roof and guttering. They also cleaned our filthy gutters, which looked like they hadn't been cleaned since the house was built! The drone footage at quote stage was also really helpful to demonstrate the issues! I would highly recommend JPR Roofing to anyone. John came to to look at a leak I had coming from the chimney where it meets the pitched roof. He thoroughly inspected the problem from outside and then even went into the loft to check what he could see from in there. John explained what needed to be done then followed up very quickly with a quote after which I agreed to give him the job. The 2 guys that turned up on the day were very courteous and overall I have to say it was a pleasant experience from beginning to end. I could only view the repaired pointing from street level and didn't really appreciate all the work that had gone into the repair until I received 27 photo's from showing the before and after of each part of the repair. This was a very nice touch - a picture paints a 1000 words!! I would recommend them to my family and friends. Excellent service all throughout.

We contacted John after finding JPR online, we had issues with our roof in our London town house. I already had 2 quotes from different contractors but I wanted to have another one before deciding. John was very reactive and came on site quickly, we identified all the problems and he provided me with a quote under 3 days. His price offer and warranty was the most competitive, before signing the quote I asked if I could take some references from his existing clients. This was no problem, after calling everyone I signed the quote and a week later the works started. His team was very organized and discreet. They finished the repairs on time and provided regular updates on the works. John always communicated rapidly and clearly. Overall it was a very good experience working with John, which these days is rare with contractors in London. Highly recommend if you have roof issues

A really good experience from start to finish. We had our flat roof replaced along with other repairs needed. There was excellent communication throughout the project from getting quotes right through to completion. We were promptly sent all the verified certificates. The team were hard working, polite and courteous and Andrew (project manager) is a true gentleman - a person with manners from a different era. I have used McDonald Roofing Contractors for three separate roofing jobs on a rather complicated roof - firstly replacing a box gutter and associated drainage, secondly replacing some lead work, and finally replacing half of the roof following my realisation that a previous roofer had only done half of the work paid for. Given all the cowboys out there it is reassuring to know a company who is professional, expert, tidy and efficient. I echo the praise of Kerry in the office, too!
